Decepcionada, después de 4 años trabajando mi cabello esperando decolorar para llegar a un rubio bonito (cosa que aún no pasa) pido una cita para mi retoque no me responden y cuando lo hacen solo dicen que el fin de semana no pueden y siempre que voy a este lugar debo perder mi día de trabajo y pagar 225 dólares por un retoque no me parece justo
Horrible experiencia en este lugar no recomendado mi cabello esta completamente dañado y el problema ahí es q el trabajo lo hacen entre 2 o hasta 3 personas y cuando vas y les dices algo q quedó mal se echan la bolita una a la otra desde el principio les dije q quería un color q ellas habían hecho antes y publicaron en Facebook y les enseñé la foto si me lo hicieron así pero cuando les pregunté q color era me dijeron q ni ellas sabían solamente lo habían hecho y ya en la parte de enfrente al agarrarme una cola de caballo había partes con color y partes oscuras y les dije q si me lo podían emparejar y dijeron q se emparejaría con el purple shampoo (q por cierto creo q ellas preparan porq trae el logo del salón )y no me sirvió de nada carísimo $25 ..los primeros 3 meses bien el color compré los shampoos apropiados para este tipo de color pero al 4 mes todo el cabello teñido se me empezó a reventar y gracias a Dios q tengo mucho cabello sino hubiera quedado pelona mi cabello no tenía tinte antes de hacerlo era completamente Virgen y me lo dañaron ..no regresaré y no recomiendo este lugar

I called and made an appointment on a Saturday for hair and makeup. Was told a $50 deposit was required and was asked to send through Zelle. I did. I was told I would receive a confirmation text and I never did. I called them later in the day to confirm the deposit was received. They confirmed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel and called them Tuesday (they are closed Mondays). Was asked to come into the salon to get the deposit, told them I could not because I was at work and would not make it on time. I was then told that they would zelle it to me. I never received the money, so I called Wednesday. Was told the owner Mari was not in and provided with her number to send her a text. No response. I called the salon Thursday, was told to text Mari again, no response. Friday, I got fed up. Called my bank and informed Mari via text that I would be calling my bank and never planned to frequent her business again. Low and behold she replied and claimed deposit is non refundable. Even though this was never verbally stated and the salon does not have a website where this is posted in writing. She finally returned my money. Sadly for her it was after I filed a complaint for fraud with my bank. Do not plan to ever use their services.
This was my before and after. I heard great things about Maria and Studio 29. I figured it won’t hurt to try it out. I knew I was going to need more than one session to get to my desired hair color. My first picture was session one with another stylist at another salon. I was not happy. My after ???? when I tell you my jaw dropped. I mean it. The girls on her team are wonderful and made me feel at home. This was the first time I ever got a true Salon experience. I get so many compliments and she definitely boosted my confidence. Thank you a million times to Maria and her girls. I can’t remember their names but I appreciate the time and effort they put in my hair. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend! Also, that purple shampoo works miracles. I might just have to stock up. See you soon ladies!
Studio 29 is one of the best hair salon/barbershop out there! My boyfriend has been coming here for awhile and each time he goes he comes out 100% satisfied. Willy (his barber) always does an amazing job and his haircuts never disappoint! This place has such a welcoming environment and everyone is very nice. They even have a pool table for customers that are waiting and always have music playing in the background. Not only do they do hair but that also do nails:) Very nice location for when you need your hair or nails done.
There is a huge hype for this place. It used to be great! Now they over book people and leave spots in your hair. If you are a mom please plan accordingly since they are never on time. I arrived early to my appointment for a touch up. They started me 1.5 hours late!! I know, I should have walked out after the first 30 min of sitting there. But I had to request the day off to go. So I couldn't leave.
After waiting and getting foiled on and off, the girls would leave and come back, the owners older sister kept sitting me by the entrance of the salon which is right in front of the entrance door. So I kept getting the cold winter air. Of course my hair was not processing at all. When a nice young lady moved me back to the warm area of the salon the owners older sister would come and say "No, tu te tienes que sentar aqui." I was moving from chair to chair because she kept wanting me to be by the entrance with the cold air. She was checking my hair and kept telling me not to be nervous because I wasn't allowing my hair to process. I had nothing to be stressed over but her constantly moving me and telling me that it was not processing. 10 hours later, they washed and curled my hair. I thought it looked nice so I went home. The following day I washed my hair, blew dried it and straightened it. I saw these spots in my hair, they looked worse in person mostly when the sun hit them. I went back to ask about the spots and the lady said to just apply the purple shampoo until they go away. This is not going to go away with shampoo. Not once did they ask me to return to get it fixed even after I offered to repay to get it fixed. Now went some place else. They treated my nice, put me under the machine and I was out within 4 hours.
So happy to finally have found a nice decent barbershop where the guys are actually respectful and treat you like a customer. Nothing compared to other barbershops where you walk in and the ???? smell hits you in the face and no one even acknowledges you, I was so fed up with those places so just glad to finally have found a real barbershop like Studio 29
