*UPDATE* I have been to this nail shop a total of 4 times. 3 out of the 4 times were fine. The last time I went there was 2 weeks ago and it will be my last visit.
So I had an appointment and I showed up on time and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seen and considering how busy they were for a Sunday I didn't mind waiting. What got to me the most was how poor the management of the staff and the customer service was.
Fist as I was getting my nails done at least 3-4 women had come in as walk ins (all at different times), each one was not greeted and had to ask for help, one after another they were told different things. One was told to wait that she would be helped in 20 minutes, the next was told there was no one available, the last one was told it was about a 15 minute wait. While I was there only 1 other person was actually taken care of and she had been there since before I got there.
Second and this is towards the management, is that while I was getting my nails done the lady doing them walk away and didn't come back for 20 minutes. When she finally did she had a soda and told me she had to eat. That's fine, but she could have told me or at least asked if minded. I had made this appointment for a reason. Also if she had to rush to eat something that means they were short staffed and didn't give her a lunch break. Not ok and it's actually illegal to not give your staff a lunch within the first 4-5 hours of their shift.
My suggestions are: 1. Hire more people to help with the random walk ins and to keep appointment times. 2. Give the staff set lunch times 3. Hire someone to great the customers.
I will not be back and I hope Sunny reads this and takes my suggestions into consideration.
They have always been so nice to me at Sunnys and they always do exactly what I want, but then again I've always been a big tipper..

I've been going since they open. Sunny is rude I've set up multiple appointments and "always a miss communication "on his end. I had an appointment or he asked me to go in for I asked for a soak off and new set and pedicure. They did my pedicure but when I was done they said they had no time for my soak off. Which they should've been soaking off my nails when I was seating there for over an hr. All they do is talk smack in there language. I put translator on my phone and WOW... IVE ONLY GONE TO THE PLACE BECAUSE NO GOOD PLACES OUT in A.V but I rather drive a hr away to do my nails.

I called twice to place an appointment but they just hang out my call customer service sox
Came in on a Monday, it was slow and asked for polish only. They asked me if I wanted gel or regular polish. When I said regualr they said the don't do regular nail polish and they let me walk out the door with money and large tip in hand. Never heard of a nail shop that doesn't paint regular nail polish on regular nails. Oh well, the nail shop down the street didn't seem to mind. Next time I'll just go straight to Jolie Nails.
First: Michelle was my operator last time so I Called and asked for an appointment from an operator by name and when she answered this was her 1st statement: Do I know you? Didn't know the customer has to be known.
2. Arrived about 0920 and an
elderly Hispanic female was seated in waiting area. Male came up to his front station and exclaimed "You late! Your appt at 9am. I never make appt at 930, Now you will run into next appt!"He took her after she apologized and said she would wait for an opening.I was finished by 1040 and there was still Noone waiting And he was still working on her nails
3. I showed my operator my nails and told her I wanted the same design. They had rwo triangles, that's it, going same direction one overlapping the other. She argued with me about what I wanted! Told me she even doing " this" a long time so I know" Well the design was not right. Not complicated..two triangles.
4.Well silly me, I was picking my nail polish and the operator, not those REMEMBER? no I didn't obviously but it could be presented nicer!
5. Appt at 0930 and she roamed around until 0935 then watched segment of news. Well, being timely meant nothing to her, huh. Remember I arrived about 0920 AND it opens 0900 so she wasn't busy when I arrived. SO of course she had to set up 1st. We probably actually began 0945.
6. Charged 55.00 for a fill and polish. I am new at this so unaware Michelle over charged me. A friend said an entire new set costs that much not a fill.
7. Heard him lie to a phone appt request after putting her on hold, doing nothing but the Hispanic lady's nails and told her WE VERY BUSY! Gave her an appt for later that afternoon. There were three individuals ideals doing nothing.
