4/8/2023 @5:30pm EST. The technician Tom, if that’s even his name, gave the WORST service experience I had in my life at a nail salon. He was rude and completely unprofessional. I had called in hours earlier and was told to arrive a little later as a walk in. For this reason he was extremely upset. The colors I picked out, he said was ugly. In the middle of doing my nails, he decided to attend another customer. I’ve never had this happen to me in any Nail Salon. It was completely humiliating. He then yelled at me some more for picking another color since the first ones was “ugly”. Customers even looked at him sideways and couldn’t believe the way he was talking to me.other nail technicians chimed in and took the color book away from me. I suggest to not go to this salon unless you want technicians screaming at you and grabbing the colors away from your hand (rudely) to give it to other customers. They were all upset because I wanted my nails to match Easter holiday colors. Also, he did an awful job at making almond shaped nails, absolutely the worst nail techs and customer service of my life. I NEVER write reviews but I felt I needed to warn someone. This place has no reason to have four stars.
I absolutely hate men doing my pedicures!!!!! And this location didn’t change my mind about it! Barely cleaned my feet. Had to ask him to clean them again. Used a razor on my feet without asking prior to doing so. Overall lacking in the customer service department. A bunch of old ppl here glorifying the place for mediocre service. I also thought, when it comes to hot towels at the end of your service, you get two towels one wrapped around each leg. Not one small towel slapped on top of your legs. I will not return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The economy is horrible right now, and for you all to do below basic service and expect a tip you have got to be kidding me!
I went once before and had a good experience with Tommy, so I made an appointment for a spa pedicure and a manicure a week in advance. Upon arrival Tommy was still working on another client, so I patiently waited about 20-25 mins to begin. Pedicure went well, but I could not get the spa pedi I made an appointment for because he said he didn’t have enough time, and that I should speak with him when making the appointment in the future so he knows exactly how much time he needs. Fine. He paints my toes, and while it’s a bit thick, I figured by the time my manicure was down and the polish dried my toes would be too…nope…smudges and is clumping. Tommy “fixes” it…I’m now sitting drying for close to an hour and my one big toe STILL hasn’t dried. He knows but keeps working on his current client…a few other techs knew I was having issues, but do nothing until they see me now removing all the polish…I end up removing my nail polish too because it’s getting ruined from taking off the toe polish. Finally one tech comes over, but to take the bottle of acetone away to which I take it back and tell her I’m using it…she says she’ll fix it…I’m about to let her, but she’s like what’s wrong, so as I start telling her she tells me to be quiet! I’m explaining I’ve been sitting here for an hour drying and I’m annoyed it wasn’t fixed properly the first time. Now I tell her not to tell me to be quiet and that I’m good and I’ll just leave. She says ok get out then. No one else tried to rectify the situation and instead they trash talked me in their language. $55 and I’m leaving with unfinished nails, toes, an attitude, and what should’ve been a pleasant experience left me annoyed on my day off. Was really hoping this would be my salon, but between being rushed even after making an appointment, the polish not drying properly, and the attitude from other people I will not be returning.
The gentleman that did my nails is absolutely horrible. He did not speak English nor did he understand. I had to get acrylics on a few fingers, it was put on crooked where I tried to show him he would push my hands away. My nails came out all different sizes. My nails came out texturized instead of smooth. Absolutely horrible and rude. Spend your money elsewhere.
I've been going there for 10 years And got overcharged And Tom the owner Did not make it right So instead he lost a customer for life!! I've spent thousands of dollars there, you would think that he would make it right rather then losing a my business!?!? Whatever happened to HONEST people?? I will tell all friends and
all my friends to never step foot in this place again!!!
Will not be returning. False price points. Made my sister wait over an hour with her feet in the water. Overcharged us for “gel topcoat” when we didn’t get any gel or color. When questioned, they starting arguing to justify themselves instead of listening to us that we only got regular pedicures. Men were beyond rude and started talking to their customers about us. Also.. not clean. Never used new tools and should have ran at that point. Customer service is horrific. Will never return.
Tom has been doing my basic short acrylic with gel polish for over a year and I keep going back. I really like the people that run this place. I recommend making an appointment.
I just do plain mani-pedi and am always pleased. Nice folks.
