I came here for the first time today and I’m amazed by how well Lisa did my nails! I love them, they’re exactly how I wanted them. Their staff is good at what they do while there I got to glance at other people’s art and everyone’s was beautiful. I’ll definitely be returning!!
We will not be returning to Sunshine Nails because of the extremely rude comments made to my daughter by the nail tech along with her overall snarky attitude. She needs training in her social skills and public relations because she is a person working with the public. In addition, the quality of her work was sub-par. She grinded through the nail! My daughter came home in tears! We will be going elsewhere!
I have gone here since I moved to Derby 3 years ago. They are the best. Tran is very willing to please and she has always done fantastic work on my nails and toes????
This salon has such a calming aesthetic. They are one of the few salons I have tried that was able to pull off this ombre look I have wanted for so long and I was in love with my nails. I went back to get this done again and they said they cant do it, they were super rude about it and said they have never been able to do something like this. I am not sure if that employee just didn't know how or they just don't carry the acrylic needed for this any longer. Either way they could work on their customer service skills. Other than that its a decent salon with comfy pedicure chairs!
I will not use this business again. My granddaughter & used this salon several times. The last time, with an appointment for both of us, many walk ins were catered to & I got left behind. I apologized to my granddaughter that she was going to have to wait on me since they were getting so busy. Quickly, in their own language, several comments were made back & forth & I was moved to the front end of the row. This nail tec, I assume, was the one who removed acrylic nails & prepped for new ones. I told her I had not done that before. She proceeded to painfully flip my nails off, even when I winced & flinched. Then clipped my natural nails quickly & jaggedly. My nails hurt for 3 days after. It was obvious to me she was mad at me & getting even. The next lady that came to her when I moved down told her she could remove her nails in this manner but she tenderly wrapped hers to allow to soak off. This woman was a disgrace to her profession.
I go to Vy she is awesome! Literally goes through all the steps to insure my nails are perfect.
In 2020 we used them for my wedding and they rushed my wedding party out in an hour. I couldn’t even get a pedicure because they were rushing everyone so bad. Fast forward to my sister in laws wedding, they kept moving us from person to person and they didn’t give us what we wanted. I usually go somewhere else but for the wedding party the bride decided to go there, they charged me $60 for dip and a small flower on each nail. They were SO rude and didn’t talk to any of us the entire time. When I didn’t tip, my girl came through talking about me and letting her friend know that I didn’t tip and when I went to leave the friend made a point to come up to me and look at my nails. Terrible place to go. Very unfriendly and ready to go home at the end of the day. If you are going with a party, don’t book for the end of the day or you’ll be rushed out. (Not to mention all of my designs fell off 3 days later)
I have been going here with my mom to get mani pedies since I was 2 year's old and still go there to this day. They are all super nice and do a really go job on my nails every time I go. Definitely recommend! ????????????????????
