Quick Facts About Tenth Street Saloon

Tenth Street Saloon has a number of strengths that make it a desirable place to visit. Firstly, the comment mentions that the pretzel was delicious, indicating that the food at the bar is of high quality. This is an important aspect for any bar or restaurant, as good food can attract customers and enhance their experience. Additionally, the staff is described as friendly and quick, suggesting that they provide good customer service and are attentive to the needs of the patrons. A pleasant and welcoming atmosphere is also mentioned, which is crucial for creating a comfortable environment where people can relax and enjoy themselves. Furthermore, the comment notes that the bar has a nice quiet atmosphere, indicating that it strikes a balance between being lively enough to be enjoyable but not too noisy or crowded.
Moreover, another comment highlights that the bar provides everything one would expect from a small town bar. This suggests that Tenth Street Saloon successfully captures the essence of a local establishment and delivers on the traditional aspects associated with such places. The comment also mentions that the bar has friendly service and is clean, further emphasizing that it meets the expectations of a small town bar. Additionally, the affordable menu is mentioned, indicating that Tenth Street Saloon offers reasonably priced food and drinks, making it accessible to a wide range of customers.
The karaoke nights at Tenth Street Saloon are praised in one of the comments. This suggests that the bar provides entertainment options that are enjoyed by the patrons. However, it is also mentioned that the library of songs could be expanded. While this might be a weakness of the bar, it is worth noting that continuously updating and expanding a karaoke library can be challenging, as it requires regular investment and effort to meet the diverse musical preferences of the customers.
On the downside, there is a comment that expresses dissatisfaction with the service at the bar. The commenter states that the bartender was only concerned about serving their friends and overlooked other customers. This suggests a potential issue with favoritism, which can create a negative atmosphere and make other customers feel neglected. Another comment reinforces this negative perception of the service, with the commenter describing the bartender/owner as unfriendly and unwelcoming. This lack of friendliness and attentiveness can be a major weakness for any establishment, as good customer service is crucial for customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Furthermore, one comment suggests that the limited hours of operation at Tenth Street Saloon might be due to the lack of customer demand. This can be seen as a weakness, as it implies that the bar may struggle to attract customers or maintain consistent business. Limited hours may also inconvenience potential customers who are looking for a place to socialize during different times of the day.
Lastly, a comment mentions that there are certain individuals who are not welcomed in the bar, specifically citing the name of one person. It is not clear from the comment why this person is frowned upon, but it implies that Tenth Street Saloon may have issues with maintaining a comfortable and inclusive environment for all customers. This can be seen as a weakness, as an establishment should strive to be welcoming and accommodating to everyone who wishes to visit.
In conclusion, Tenth Street Saloon has several strengths, including delicious food, friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and a traditional small town bar experience. However, there are also weaknesses such as potential issues with service, limited hours of operation, and potential exclusivity towards certain individuals. It is important for the bar to address these weaknesses in order to improve the overall customer experience and attract a wider range of customers.

Went to play darts and have a drink, around 4pm one day, had a great time. The pretzel was delicious, the staff friendly and quick, and a nice quiet (but not stuffy) atmosphere.
Everything you’d expect from a small town bar. Friendly service and clean, pleasant atmosphere. Affordable menu - all bar food here.
Horrible service. Bartender was only concerned about serving her friends. She was serving people that should not have been. They care about no one just the bottom line. Recommend going to Mayors Joint where they care about their customer’s.
Love the karaoke nights. Just need to expand the library of songs
Just moved to Plainwell and it's exactly what you expect out of a small town bar. Loved every second of the karaoke. Locals have good taste in music. Food and beer is reasonably priced
Places is OK not too far from Orangeville, would be better if they wouldn't let people like Eric Mills in there. Riggs
You should know before you come in this is your hometown type of tavern. Nothing fancy but friendly staff and other customers. Pretty cool old school decor as well. Cheers!
Thought I would check out this place for a beer and a bite to eat for the first time only to be greeted by the very unfriendly bartender/owner. I was greeted with a "what do you want ". No "how are you doing today" or "what can I get you" or a half smile. After pouring a draft he never came back to see if I would like to look at a menu or order any food. Easy to see why they are only open limited hours these days.
