This indicates that the restaurant takes pride in serving flavorful and well-prepared dishes. Additionally, the service is highly praised, with comments highlighting the friendliness and engagement of the staff.
The restaurant's atmosphere and design are also considered strengths. Despite its unassuming appearance from the outside, customers are pleasantly surprised by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere inside. One customer specifically mentions the design of the plates and the attention to detail, such as carrots cut into the shape of Lotus flowers. This shows that Thai in Town pays attention to creating a visually appealing dining experience.
Furthermore, the affordability and value for money provided by Thai in Town is another strength. Customers mention that the set meals are a good option for those who can't decide what to order. These meals are described as filling and full of delicious flavors, offering a great dining experience at a reasonable price. Best TL Reviews

Don’t be fooled by the back street the restaurant sits on or John the grumpy waiter, from Hull. This place is a little gem. The food is fresh, piping hot and above all, delicious.
The photos in this post don’t show the food in the best light but listening to the locals, Thai in Town is a weekly staple with people travelling from miles around to eat here each week.
Give it a go. There’s something for everyone’s taste.
The lady co-owner of the restaurant was very pleasant and friendly and said that they couldn't unfortunately cook jungle curry, which was not on the menu, but they could put extra chilli in the massaman curry. Fair enough. Starters were generous and tasty. Main courses though were pretty poor. Pad kra pao, pork with chilli and basil, was nothing like it should have been, no chilli and it included green beans, so maybe they got the order wrong. Green curry was like watery soup, zero heat at all. My prawn massaman, which I discussed with the owner was also tasteless. Fish in sweet and sour sauce was acceptable though. Nobody came to ask how the food was after it had been served, had they done so I would have raised these issues.
Went to pay the bill, as the dishes hadn't been cleared and spoke to the male owner. He commented that they were rushed off their feet and apologised for not coming over to our table. He said that if we went again he would rectify the problems. Quite a disappointing evening really, as we were really looking forward to the meal.
Whole-heartedly recommend Thai in Town for a very tasty evening meal! Our delicious food was cooked perfectly with high quality ingredients, and service was super friendly. Will visit again :)
Absolutely Brilliant Food, Tastes Fresh and homemade. Really enjoyed it.
Don’t be alarmed by the look of the restaurant, it’s a hidden delight. Owner seemed really nice and was friendly towards my family. Lighting could be better but the restaurant has got a good atmosphere. I really like the design of my plates and the carrots cut into the shapes of Lotus flowers - really enjoyable. The rice was not bad and I really enjoyed the beef. On holiday if I wasn’t I’d definitely come back. 10/10
The food was delicious and all freshly cooked, staff were friendly and engaging. We went for a set meal for 2 as we couldn't decide what to have and left very full with delicious flavours still in our mouths. The beer was reasonable too ???? highly recommended
The food is amazing. Green curry, massaman curry and Pad Krapow with Thai sticky rice. One of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten in. Highly recommended.
This was a very nice family-run Thai restaurant. The waiters were very kind and the service was very good; the food was good as well. Would recommend to others.
The best food in Cornwall. Well worth a visit, book a table or phone for a takeaway you will not be disappointed.
