Quick Facts About The Beaumont Hotel

The Beaumont Hotel has several strengths that make it an attractive place to stay. Firstly, many guests commented on the cleanliness of the rooms, describing them as very clean and spotless. This is a significant strength as cleanliness is a crucial factor for many travelers when choosing accommodation. Additionally, guests praised the comfort of the beds and the modernity of the bathrooms. The hotel's ability to provide comfortable and well-equipped rooms contributes to a positive guest experience.
Another strength of The Beaumont Hotel is its customer service. Multiple reviewers mentioned the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff. The host, Liz, was specifically referred to as attentive and understanding, providing excellent service to guests even in more sensitive situations such as a family funeral. Good customer service is highly valued by guests and can greatly enhance their overall experience.
Location is also a strength of The Beaumont Hotel. It is described as well situated, with convenient parking available. The hotel's proximity to local attractions, including being a 15-minute walk from Louth city center, is seen as a positive by guests. Additionally, the hotel's ability to provide parking and secure storage for bicycles was appreciated by guests who were planning to cycle in the area. A convenient location and amenities for those traveling by car or bicycle can be a significant draw for potential guests.
Furthermore, guests praised the value for money provided by The Beaumont Hotel. Several reviewers mentioned that they found the hotel to be excellent value, given the cleanliness, comfort, and services provided. This is an important strength as guests are often looking for affordable accommodation that still meets their expectations in terms of quality.
However, The Beaumont Hotel also has some weaknesses that should be considered. One weakness mentioned by a guest was the cost of breakfast. While the hotel offers a cooked breakfast, it was highlighted that it comes at an additional cost of £7. This may be seen as a negative for some guests who expect a complimentary breakfast to be included in the room rate. Additionally, another guest mentioned that the landlady can be abrupt, which could potentially impact the overall experience and satisfaction of guests.
Another weakness highlighted in a review was the presence of outdated furnishings in the Abbey Suite. While the initial impression of the room was positive, the guest mentioned that some of the furnishings were dated. This could be seen as a negative for guests who expect modern and up-to-date decor.
Lastly, there was a negative experience regarding customer service mentioned in one review. The guest mentioned that they found someone else's personal belongings in their room, and when they raised the issue, the landlady reacted negatively, threatening to report the guest for malicious comments. This incident reflects a lack of professionalism and customer service skills, which could be seen as a significant weakness.
In conclusion, The Beaumont Hotel has several strengths that contribute to its appeal, including cleanliness, comfort, customer service, location, and value for money. However, it is important to consider the weaknesses mentioned by guests, such as the cost of breakfast, the potential for abruptness from the landlady, the presence of outdated furnishings in some rooms, and a negative customer service incident. Ultimately, potential guests should weigh these strengths and weaknesses to determine if The Beaumont Hotel meets their specific needs and expectations.

Best TL Reviews

Stayed at the Beaumont for 2 nights and found the rooms very clean. The bed really comfy and the bathroom modern and spotless. I would definitely stay again. ????
Spent the night here as doing a track day at Caldwell Park, so got here late and left early, but great shower, nice size room, beds okay, small but great cooked breakfast (only a fiver!) or cereal, toast, yoghurt etc included. Only slight criticism is mirror in showeroom had some rust on edge and toilet very close to wall (see picture) however I would still rather have an en-suite. Liz was a great host and let us take want we wanted from the buffet for the day at no extra cost.
The Beaumont is well situated, clean and parking isn't a problem. Don't expect a free breakfast though, it will cost you £7 if the cook isn't off sick. The landlady can be a bit abrupt as well, so beware.
A really good stay. Room excellent , shower superb and breakfast was grand. Excellent value for money and the owner and staff were great. Thank you for making our stay so good especially as we were there for a family funeral. Your understanding and kindness really helped.
What a lovely hotel. We were planning to cycle in the area and wanted a hotel with parking and with somewhere we could securely keep our bikes overnight. No problem, huge car park and we can store bikes in laundry room. Great customer service. Lovely clean rooms. Nice basic cooked breakfast. And at a fantastic price. About 15 mins walk into the centre of Louth. Highly recommended.
Lovely room, very clean bedsheets and towels and comfortable bed. The shower is amazing and bathroom light and clean. TV, free wifi, kettle and plenty tea and coffee.
The owners are friendly and helpful.
Good location with parking. Ten minute walk to Louth hospital and ten or fifteen to city centre.
Nice breakfast and lovely patio.
Lovely old furniture and decor. Very cosy. Will stay again.
The stay was average but read on as to why it resulted in 1 star. We were upgraded to the Abbey Suite (bonus).
Large room, some dated furnishings but all in a good 1st impression. Then my wife noticed only half a roll of toilet tissue with no reserves. Not the end of the world but then we had the worst nights sleep thanks to the mattress and pillows being carved out of stone. It was topped off by my wife discovering 2 pairs of knickers in the bedside drawer (not hers) So they were included in the review on Booking.com.
I was then contacted by the landlady apologising for the bad experience , which I thought was a nice touch but when she couldn't find the Knickers which were by this time in the bin that she personally emptied I was informed that she'd be contacting the Police and reporting me for malicious comments. I'm not sure on the crime levels of Louth but I guess there isn't any. Sorry bonkers lady but your customer service skills are lacking
Lovely host , very tidy room and great value for money..
