Nice woodburner good selection of gins polite staff

Warm welcome. Always a choice of cask ales to choose from, and my choice has always been in good condition. Friendly local boozer.

Great evening last night at the Beck Inn, excellent Christmas quiz and a bonus supper part way through, good choice of beers too.

Cateered for a funeral there today, landlord was lovely very helpful and friendly

Appalled today. We came for one drink after an afternoon in the park, we've been visiting here as a family for the last 3 years and have always been welcomed, but today when we arrived with our children the new owner told us she hated children, and when we asked for plastic glasses because they had no fruit shoots or carton drinks, she said they could have glass, but if they broke them she 'would slit their throats with the shards'. This was said infront of our 4 young children! disgusting, even in jest, that is not acceptable. we felt so uncomfortable that we didn't stay for another drink and wont be visiting again. I wouldn't suggest having a drink here as a family with young children. Sadly since June and Paul have left its gone down hill
