Quick Facts About The Cosy Cafe

The Cosy Cafe has received mostly positive comments, with customers praising its atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. However, there have also been a few negative comments regarding the treatment of children and disabled individuals, as well as issues with customer service and food quality.
One of the strengths of The Cosy Cafe, as mentioned in the comments, is its aptly named cozy atmosphere. Despite not having a big space, the cafe creates a warm and inviting environment for customers. This can be a major draw for those looking for a comfortable and intimate dining experience. The availability of a few tables also adds to the cozy ambiance.
The staff at The Cosy Cafe have been consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. Customers appreciate the welcoming and accommodating attitude of the staff members, which adds to the overall positive dining experience. The friendly staff can contribute to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, making customers feel valued and cared for.
Another strength is the quality of the food. Multiple comments mention that the food at The Cosy Cafe is lovely, delicious, and of excellent quality. Customers have enjoyed a variety of dishes, such as bacon & egg rolls, wraps, pancakes, and milkshakes. The positive feedback indicates that the chef is skilled and that the cafe offers a diverse and tasty menu.
Reasonable pricing is mentioned in one of the comments as a positive aspect of The Cosy Cafe. Customers appreciate that the food is reasonably priced, providing good value for money. This can be attractive to customers looking for affordable dining options without compromising on quality.
However, there are also some weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One of the negative experiences described involves the treatment of a 1-year-old child and the assumption made by a waitress about their potential mental problems. This incident left the family feeling unwelcome and upset. This indicates a lack of sensitivity and understanding on the part of the staff towards customers with children and disabilities. It is important for the cafe to create a more inclusive and accepting environment to avoid alienating potential customers.
Customer service issues are also mentioned in a negative comment. The staff's behavior over the phone was described as rude and unhelpful. Additionally, there was a mix-up with the order and a delay in preparing the food. These incidents highlight a lack of efficiency and attention to detail. Consistently good customer service is essential for the success of any establishment, and improvement in this area is needed.
Another weakness highlighted in one of the comments is the somewhat high price of certain menu items, such as the bacon & egg roll. A customer felt that paying £3.10 for a single item was a bit pricey. While the overall pricing has been mentioned as reasonable, it would be worth considering adjusting the prices of certain items to ensure they align with customer expectations and market standards.
In conclusion, The Cosy Cafe has several strengths, including a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable pricing. However, there are also some weaknesses that need to be addressed, such as the treatment of children and disabled individuals, customer service issues, and certain menu items being perceived as overly expensive. By addressing these weaknesses and building upon their strengths, The Cosy Cafe can continue to improve and provide a better overall dining experience for its customers.

Aptly names cosy cafe although the space inside isn't big there is a few tables which gives a cosy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I'll definetely be back again.
Well where to start my partner, 6 year old son, 1 year old son and mother in law had the horror of dinning here today, we've been regular visitors and enjoyed our time but today or 1 year old son who happened to be shouting and very happy seemed to cause a problem as one of your waitresses happily came up and didn't speak to my partner or mother in law and advise my 6 year old son he was bothering people at front of the place and they where wondering if he had problems, safe to say they left there meal unfinished as felt unwanted. Yes my son my have a mental problem because of his screaming and sadly the NHS hasn't been able to confirm this as quick as Dr Waitress, please going forward stick a sign on your window "Children and disabled not welcomed" it would have saved us wasting/ruining our day and my partner coming back heartbroken that our 1 year old son has a problem (according to your Dr Waitress)
Went on a date here the food was really good. The were friendly and welcoming and as the name suggests it was cosy inside I would recommend it.
What a hidden gem. I stopped here for brunch and had an amazing time. Friendly staff and delicious food. Great portion sizes and value for money.
Bacon & egg roll was delicious, but at £3.10 it was a bit pricey,
Lovely staff, lovely food and reasonable price. My new favourite place
Wont be back ! The first time i phoned for a collection the woman was rude and hung up the phone and gave us the wrong order when we got there decided to try again a few months later , the woman on the phone sounded like she didn’t have a clue what she was doing , got there and she hadn’t even put the order in. Whilst waiting on the food one of the wraps had burst so they made a fresh one while the other just sat there so by the time i got home i had 1 warm meal and 1 cold meal … was disappointing
All day menu excellent chef, staff friendly and managers /owners can't do enough for you ,from breakfast to starter meal of chicken coujons to home made pancakes with syrup and paninis, but the best of all the strawberry milkshakes best in town, great we place ,friendly atmosphere and not rushed after your meal
