Great service. Great haircuts for my boys. My wife and her sister cut their hair low and Doc did a great job cleaning up them up and giving it shape. He does nice designs too.

Great barbers with great personalities! I really thought I found the perfect barbershop for my son. I have taken my son there three times for a haircut with the same barber. Unfortunately the first haircut was the only good one. The second

time was 4 weeks ago and asked for the same haircut I received the first time but the barber gave my son a high fade. I waited a month for my son’s hair to grow enough get a drop fade. When I walked in, the barber was with another client and although another barber was available, out of loyalty I waited for him. When my son sat in his chair he immediately said “this time I remember, low fade.” He began to cut and I felt confident that he was capable of recreating the initial haircut that I was so pleased with. A minute later he proceeded to shave my son’s head. He went higher and the barber in the neighboring chair mumbled to him that he made a mistakes. He acknowledged him and then began to go even higher on the sides. Before I could intervene, he began to cut into the top of his hair which is very long. I can’t imagine what he was thinking. The top of my son’s hair is now narrow on the top. He has this hair sitting on the top of his head and an extremely high fade. My son did fidget in the chair but his mistake was not as a result of his movement. He simply forgot and I have no idea why or how. I really like this place because the barbers are good guys and it is a great atmosphere with prompt service and a welcoming atmosphere. His last barbershop was by appointment only but his barber moved away. The atmosphere was strictly business so when his barber left I didn’t have any interest returning. I recently moved from New York and have been looking for a good barber for my soon. This haircut resulted in me having to cut the top of my son’s hair that I have been growing for over a year and start from scratch. Maybe it was time for a change. The biggest disappointment for me was that I had to come home with another bad haircut that is worst than the last bad one and contemplate my decision of why I returned to the place that messed his hair up prior.

The barbers in this shop are fantastic and can cut most to all styles! They also cater to female customers. It is open six days a week 730 am until 630 pm. There is normally no wait time for a haircut. Nice atmosphere and great conversation. Located next to a convenience store and a church. They also accept debit/credit cards. Highly recommended!

Best barbershop in the Plainfield and surrounding area. Staff are professional, courteous and there’s always great conversations taking place. Prices are reasonable and great environment to bring children. Highly recommended.

The Barber was very rude and Mean to one of my sons on Sunday 6/14/2019. He talked about how nappy his hair was. He made fun of him basically. He wasn't gentle at all. He was very Rough picking his hair. My son went home with a headache. That was our first time going and it will be our last too. You didn't have to hurt my son feelings like that. The nerve of you-you should be ashamed of yourself.

Former New Era Barbershop, this establishment os old school and enjoyable. Now that I’m older, and recognize the value of ambiance of barbershops, I value the teaching opportunities. I happily took my young daughter so she could soak up some of the atmosphere. Nice local institution.

Simply.....THE BEST!!....More than just a barbershop. Just a positive place where my 3 sons have gone to from toddlers to grown men... for me over 25 years as a patron and NEVER a bad experience ALWAYS professional.... LOTS of laughs too!!
