This personal touch creates a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for patrons, making them feel valued and appreciated. Additionally, Paul engages with customers by discussing his plans and intentions for the pub, demonstrating a commitment to running a successful establishment.
A major strength of The Millers Arms is the presence of multiple screens showing popular sporting events such as 6 Nations rugby and football. This caters to sports enthusiasts who enjoy watching games while socializing with friends. The availability of these screens ensures that customers can enjoy their favorite sports without having to leave the pub.
The ability of the staff to effectively handle a situation involving intoxicated customers demonstrates their competence and professionalism. Dealing with this situation without fuss further highlights their ability to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
The presence of three additional staff members behind the bar is also praised, as it ensures efficient and prompt service. This is crucial in preventing long waiting times and ensuring that customers can enjoy their time at the pub without feeling frustrated by slow service.
Although the separate building for the restrooms is mentioned as a point of criticism, it is not a significant weakness. While some customers may prefer the convenience of having the restrooms within the main building, this may not be a major deterrent for most patrons.

The comment praises the "good choice of beers" offered, indicating that The Millers Arms provides a variety of options to cater to different tastes. Best TL Reviews

Spent the afternoon and evening with a friend in the newly opened Millers.
The landlord Paul made us very welcome and chatted about his plans and how he intends to run the pub. There are multiple screens that showed 6 nations rugby and the football.
They dealt effectively and with no fuss when a group of ladies came in very drunk. The evening had a DJ and the place started to get busy. Paul had another 3 staff behind the bar, so getting served wasn’t a problem. The loo’s are in a separate building out the back. I’d like more choice on real ales, but that’s my only real criticism.
Good luck with the future to all concerned and if Paul treats all his customers the way he treated us, he’ll make this pub a success quickly
Horrendous! 42 and feared for my safety from the older ladies. Goodness me. Never thought I’d say this but if you’re was 10 years older id still be too young!
Too expensive. I have drunk in the millers since it was 18p a pint. I had to pay £5.20 each pint last night. Its just not worth it.
Good choice of beers and loads of large HD screens showing the sport, sometimes multiple games at a time which is great :)
Good for a groove night if you wanna get on your good foot, although I don't think I heard any James Brown being played
Great time . Fantastic music . Fantastic for all age groups
Decent. The place gets busy and its an older crowd but you get served quickly and the music is good. It depends what genre night they have on it may be your taste or not but if you stay and mix with the locals you will have a good night x
Nice staff, decent DJ, reasonably priced drinks. What more could you want from a local night out?
