Okay food, but don't be in a hurry!
40 minutes to serve some toast and a sandwich!
Watched a mother and child next to us get 1 of 2 meals, the other meal was served just as we were leaving. No consistency, no organisation, 40 minutes to make a sandwich when there were zero other customers waiting... must say it tasted good, however more like through desperation.
The girls serving were really nice and did a good job as best they could. Chef issues.
Many other places to eat almost next door.
We dropped in with the family on a very busy Sunday. Lovely warm welcoming staff, cakes and ice cream to die for. Service was excellent. Noted the doggie ice creams so next time we will be including our 2 canine family members too.
Lovely Café in Exeter run by friendly staff and also Dog friendly too. Thank you very much, plus our Dog said thanks for the biscuits :)
Lovely cafe with great views over the Exeter quay from the tables inside or out. Four of us went for lunch and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the very reasonably priced food and all freshly prepared. Very good salad and excellent coffee to go with it.
One of my favourite cafes which is very cozy and has great view to the quay side river. You have lots of options for having hot/cold drinks, ice-cream or food. It has a toilet which is very useful for those spending lots of time in quay.
Lovely vegan ice cream and the gentleman serving was very welcoming.
Popped in with the family for a light bite to eat and was very nice. Nice choice of ice creams too.
What a treat! We popped in to give my son something to eat (they did jackets and sausage rolls), but had a fab experience. Great seats by the window overlooking the quay (a good chance to do some people and dog watching), friendly and accommodating staff and an extensive menu. My son enjoyed his jacket, my daughter had the best brie, bacon and cranberry panini she's ever had and my wife and I shared a very generous portion of soup and granary cob, which was delicious and plenty for two. Thoroughly recommend, especially if you want to escape the busyness of Exeter City centre.
