Quick Facts About The Real Greek
The Real Greek has several strengths that contribute to positive customer experiences. First, many patrons appreciate the restaurant's Greek layout and music, which recreate a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere. This attention to detail enhances the overall dining experience and sets a pleasant mood for customers. Additionally, customers praise the staff for their friendly and professional service. One specific recommendation is to ask for Zak, a standout waiter who receives high praise. Many customers appreciate his attentiveness and friendly demeanor. The quality of the food is another strength of The Real Greek. Diners consistently describe the food as tasty and fresh, with top-quality ingredients. This, combined with the fair prices, offers good value for customers. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended by various customers.
However, there are also weaknesses that customers have pointed out. One common complaint is the noise level in the restaurant. Customers mention that the building could have better insulation to reduce the noise, as this can detract from the dining experience. Another weakness mentioned is the small portion sizes. While the food is praised for its taste, some customers note that the portions are relatively small. This may lead to some customers feeling unsatisfied or wanting more. Additionally, some customers had negative experiences with the food presentation at the restaurant. They found the use of tea cake stands for the plates to be impractical and interfering with the dining experience. It was difficult to scoop sauces and slice the meat from these fragile stands. These aspects contribute to a less positive overall experience for these customers.
Moreover, some customers express disappointment with the lack of creativity and imagination in the menu. They feel that Greek food, which is typically simple and super tasty, does not translate well to the fast food format at The Real Greek. These customers were hoping for something more special and unique, and feel that the restaurant falls short in this regard. Another weakness mentioned by some customers is the lack of seasoning or flavor in certain dishes. For example, one customer found the vegan meatball wrap and aubergine to be quite bland and in need of additional salt or seasoning. Additionally, some customers found certain items, such as the chips, to be cold and lacking seasoning.
Lastly, while many customers praise the fast service at The Real Greek, one customer felt that they were overcharged for a can of coke. This suggests a potential issue with pricing transparency or fairness that should be addressed to prevent customer dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, The Real Greek has several strengths that contribute to positive customer experiences, including the lovely Mediterranean atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, tasty and fresh food at fair prices, and exceptional customer service. However, there are also weaknesses such as noise levels, small portion sizes, impractical food presentation, lack of creativity in the menu, need for better seasoning, and potential issues with pricing transparency. By addressing these weaknesses, The Real Greek can further improve and enhance the overall dining experience for its customers.
Best TL Reviews
Great Greek layout and music in the restaurant recreating a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere. Staff very friendly and professional. I recommend ask for Zak the waitress. The best waitress there, for sure. If you can, bring him a comb ????. Food was very tasty and fresh. Top quality with a Fair Price. Something to improve: A bit noise, so the building could have a better insulation. Highly recommended, for sure.
This restaurant is located at a very nice corner just outside Chantry place. The environment is clean and food presentation is nice to look at. We had lamb, pork belly, falafel, grilled halloumi and some bread. Just enough for dinner. The food were all great tasting though the portions are a little small. Esp love the meat and halloumi, probably the best halloumi I have had for a long time. However there are more misses. Firstly even thou the plates are placed on tea cake stands which presented the food very well, it’s difficult to scoop the sauce and slice the meat from the fragile stands. The falafel was quite hard as it’s obviously over-fried. To me the stands are useless and get in the way. They took an incredible long time to take our order and serve, despite calling them twice. The serving team are all quite sad looking, it seems they are very unhappy working there. So yes food was nice but the whole experience pulled down the score.
Not my favourite place to eat. I tried it twice.
Greek food is simple and super tasty. It doesn't work as fast food here at the real greek. I found it lacked any thing special. I would have been as happy with a supermarket sandwich. The place lacks any imagination. Pity.. I really wanted to like it.
We fancied a tasty lunch and were near The Real Greek so thought it was worth a try. It was very quiet, we were the only people there.
The staff were friendly and efficient, the service speedy and tne food good.
I had a chicken wrap with greek mustard, it comes with chips inside and a side, i didnt fancy any of the sides so had chips yep, a chip overload!
The wrap was good but a but dry and there was no seasoning available, sauces were offered though.
My Lady had Halloumi skewers with saffron rice and tzatziki, greek salad and feta, it was an impressive plate of food!
It is fair to say, there was a lot of food for a reasonable price.
Exceptional customer service. :-)
My parents had the meat dishes, they said it was good.
I had the vegan options - loved the lentil dip, and I liked the chickpea Filo triangles.
However , I can’t say there was anything special about the vegan meatball wrap, or the aubergine. Both needed some salt/seasoning because it was quite bland. Chips were cold and also could do with some seasoning.
Fantastically fast service.
Seated as soon as I walked in by friendly staff who then took my order and in less than 5 minutes it was with me to eat!
The food was delicious and a great price with the lunch deal.
Amazing wrap just like I used to have where I used to live in Zakynthos. The Greek salad was a different to what I’m used to but the service was fast and very very yummy food. My fiancé had the trio and was lovely, delicious. I would certainly recommend
Nice place, nice food and good location. 1st time I've been here. Waiter was nice too.....what let it down for me is I got charged £3.40 for a can of coke!!!! Bit of a rip
