Quick Facts About The Salon North End
The Salon North End has received a variety of comments, both positive and negative, which provide insights into its strengths and weaknesses.
One of the major strengths of The Salon North End is the quality of its treatments. Several customers express their satisfaction with the massages they received, praising the technicians for their skill and professionalism. There are mentions of the massages being "amazing," "fabulous," and the best the customers have ever had. This indicates that the salon employs highly skilled and experienced massage therapists who are able to provide excellent service.
Another strength highlighted by customers is the reasonable pricing at The Salon North End. One customer mentions that the salon is "well priced," indicating that the services offered are affordable and provide good value for money. This affordability could make the salon an attractive option for customers who are seeking high-quality treatments without breaking the bank.
The friendliness and professionalism of the staff are also strengths of The Salon North End. Multiple customers comment on the welcoming and warm nature of the technicians, praising their friendliness and professionalism. This indicates that the salon has a positive and customer-oriented atmosphere, which can contribute to a more enjoyable experience for customers.
However, there are also weaknesses that emerge from customer comments. One recurring issue is the organization and communication regarding appointments. One customer mentions that there was a lot of "messing around" with their appointment and that the salon initially booked them for a longer massage time than they received. These types of organizational issues can be frustrating for customers and create a negative impression of the salon's service.
Another weakness highlighted by customers is the lack of experienced staff for certain treatments. One customer expressed disappointment with their manicure and pedicure experience, describing it as "disgusted" and mentioning that the salon employed work experience girls instead of experienced staff. This suggests that the salon may need to improve the training and supervision of their less-experienced staff members to ensure consistently high-quality results for all treatments.
There are also a few comments about the lack of client service and communication from staff members. One customer mentions feeling "superfluous" during their treatment, as the beautician did not involve them or provide adequate explanations. Another customer mentions feeling confused and left waiting without clear instructions. These issues highlight the importance of effective communication and ensuring that the client feels involved and informed throughout the treatment process.
In conclusion, The Salon North End has several strengths, including high-quality treatments, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff. However, there are also weaknesses that should be addressed, such as organizational and communication issues with appointments, inconsistent quality due to less-experienced staff, and the need for improved client service and communication. By addressing these weaknesses, The Salon North End can further enhance its reputation and provide an even better experience for its customers.
Best TL Reviews
Took my daughter to see Marissa here during half term. Absolutely fabulous, really well priced and such a lovely technician
I had a head, shoulder and back massage by Sarah, it was an amazing experience at one point it felt like she had 4 hands massaging my back. It was such an amazing experience I have now booked a monthly full body massage.
I had a back, neck and shoulder massage by Sam today and would quite happily say it's the best I've ever had..... and I've had a few! I almost don't want to leave a review in case she gets booked up..... she was warm, friendly and professional and absolutely fantastic at what she did. I plan on becoming a regular and would recommend her.
Was so much messing around with my appointment.
Manager tried to make it up by offering me another free voucher and I can use it on the same day. She said she booked me in for 1hour and 30 mins massage. Which is very kind of her.
However, on the day they told me they only booked me for 1 hour..and spent 15 mins talking to me... (actual massage only 45 mins - not 90 mins like originally booked for)
To be fair on the guy who was doing the massage is actually really good. But with all the messing around I don’t think I want to go back again☹️
I was given a voucher for my birthday to have a manicure and pedicure at The Salon. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was absolutely disgusted at the end result. Smudged and uneven. I had to leave after 2 hours as I had another appointment which I could not miss. I now have to remove it all and go to a Salon where they have experienced staff and do not use work experience girls. What a waste of £40! I have a photo if anyone would like to see it.
Tiffany did a great job with a full body massage and facial. Very relaxing, professional and just what I needed. With maybe the walls blocked out a bit more sound as you could hear conversations or sirens outside at times but no biggy. Lovely cute lady as well! ????
Hmm, great treatment but could've used a little more client service from the staff; the beautician didn't say what she was doing as she did it and at one point she put a mask on me then went on her phone. I wasn't entirely sure if we were done or what was happening. I was left staring at a strip light for 10 mins until I asked 'um, is there a mask on?' and was told it would be 5 more mins.
At the end I wasn't given any post treatment advice, I was just told 'you're all done'.
Positive- treatment was excellent and she knew what she was doing; staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Negatives- they don't involve the client, you do feel a little 'superfluous'.
If I could give a minus then I would, as was very disappointed with the service I received today..... I'm 38 weeks pregnant and desperately needing my feet taken care of as can no longer do it my self, so I bought a Groupon offer for a manicure and pedicure and booked my appointment for Tuesday 17th July. 1 hour before my appointment I was called to say they couldn't fit me in now as the staff need to do training. I was very upset as I really wanted this done as can longer reach my feet at the moment. They apologised and booked me in for today, Friday 20th July. The girl that I was booked in with looked and acted like a trainee who gave no eye contact or even tried to make conversation. She seemed very nervous and didn't really know what she was doing. The treatment I received could have been done better by my 5 year old daughter. My finger nails were painted to a very bad standard and not shaped at all, my toe nails were slightly better but still not filed nor shaped. I would not class this as a manicure or pedicure. When I questioned why I didn't receive the treatment I thought I had paid for, she replied with " if you'd like to book again with us you should specify that you want the luxury pedicure and manicure". Well lesson learnt now, never will I return to this place. I will book for a proper pedicure at a proper salon next time..... ????
