Quick Facts About Diamond Nails
Strengths:
1) Affordability: Several comments mention that Diamond Nails offers affordable prices for their services. This is a strength for budget-conscious customers who are looking for nail services at a reasonable cost.
2) Customer Service: One comment praises the staff, specifically mentioning Natalie as being super cool and treating the customer and her sisters nicely. This indicates that Diamond Nails has friendly and helpful staff members who prioritize good customer service.
Weaknesses:
1) Lack of Nail Preparation: One customer complaint mentions that Diamond Nails did not properly prep the nails before applying acrylics, which resulted in a poor outcome. This indicates a weakness in the nail technicians' skills and attention to detail.
2) Unsanitary Practices: Another negative comment highlights unsanitary practices at Diamond Nails, including using the same dirt to clean cuticles and not properly disinfecting tools. This is a significant weakness as it poses a risk to the customers' health and safety.
3) Rushed Service: A customer expresses dissatisfaction with the rushed service, as the nail technician had another appointment and even stopped to help someone else during their session. This indicates that Diamond Nails may prioritize efficiency over quality, leading to subpar results and customer dissatisfaction.
4) Inattentive Nail Technician: Another complaint mentions an inattentive and unprofessional nail technician named Wendy. The customer describes how Wendy was more interested in speaking with other technicians, taking personal calls, and neglecting the customer's needs. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer focus, which is a weakness for the salon.
5) Poor Time Management: One comment mentions a significant delay in waiting time, despite being told it would only be ten minutes. The customer's wait was further prolonged by being moved to a different table and the nail technician's distractions. This highlights a weakness in Diamond Nails' ability to manage appointments and provide prompt service to their customers.
Overall, Diamond Nails has strengths in affordability, friendliness of staff, and positive outcomes for some customers. However, they have significant weaknesses in nail preparation, unsanitary practices, rushed service, lack of attentiveness from some nail technicians, and poor time management. These weaknesses can lead to negative customer experiences and should be addressed by the salon to improve their overall performance.

Absolutely horrible. I left my daughter to get her brows done at the house of beauty and she decided she wanted her nails done so she walked into this place which happened to be next door. WORST decision ever!!!! She said they didn't even prep her nails before just slapped on the acrylics and that's it. NO blending, no nail care, it's horrible. And they made her pay $40 for them. I was shocked. I've had bad experiences but this takes the cake. My daughters nails are horrible. And to top it all off the sides of her fingers are now hard?? I'm guessing it's the glue ???? but who knows. Wish I had known this but my sister picked her up. BTW these pictures don't do them justice, they look worse up close
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I paid for a gel manicure. They started to chip 2 days later. This place is unsanitary. They have ripped seats and clean you cuticles with the same dirt that comes from underneath the nail. Gross. I will never go back.
They did alright on my nails with a few mistakes. They made me wait a long time to be seen and I could tell the nail tech was rushing on my nails because she had another appointment right after. She even stopped to go help on someone else’s nails during my time. Also I asked for coffin and they’re a little too round for my liking. Since I had to wait so long, I was late to a meeting and didn’t have time to ask for corrections on the nails. I even told her to not do any of the designs I asked for due to the time she was taking.
They don’t clean with disinfectants after each patron and used the same buffer so they’re not changing out their implements. Went in for a fill and a nail fix no design - lady kept trying to upcharge me and had to stop her from adding polish and designs talking about she had “a surprise” for me at the end. If I wasn’t so slow doing them myself, I would’ve kept my $40. I was pretty much paying for the convenience of it all cause these are pretty trash.
Went back and forth on if I was even going to post this review, but as the time has gone by I’ve grown more and more upset with everything that transpired. First, they tell me the wait will ONLY be ten minutes. After FIFTEEN minutes they seat me to get the fill on my nails. It takes another TEN minutes for one of the techs to come over and move me to another table where I wait for another FIFTEEN minutes. (Mind you, I came at a time where it was not busy at all).
I wish I could say that my experience improved after finally being serviced, but the long wait was only the beginning. The lady (whose name I’m assuming is Wendy by the receipt that I’ve uploaded) was completely inattentive and unprofessional through my entire service. She was more concerned with speaking to the other technicians in the place and looking all around while doing my nails which was very frustrating because when she would file/buff my nails it was actually my skin that was getting the filing done because she wasn’t paying attention. At one point she even got up to get a new customer situated in a chair and helped them get their nail color picked out (all without acknowledging anything at all to me). Then she decides to take a personal call in the middle of doing my nails and walks outside to take the call. Once again, never once even saying “excuse me I’ll be back” or anything. The phone call lasted about TEN minutes while I’m just sitting there waiting for my fill to get finished. When she finally comes back she continues to be tuned in to everything and everyone in the mail shop BESIDES me…the customer!!!!!
When she was wrapping up she finally speaks to me about pricing which was also more than I felt should have been charged based on the fact that I’d been there before and never paid that much for a fill!! (As you can see by the receipt I was charged 45$ for a FILL….whereas I had just paid $55 two weeks prior for the original full set). When I questioned her about it of course she said it was typically more but she was giving me two dollar discount lol.
All in all the experience was awful and I expect ALOT more especially if I’m going to be overpriced!!
Super nice ladies, Natalie is super cool. Treated my sisters and I nicely. The prices are very affordable. Highly recommend.????????
It was ok my nails were cute. Just a bit upset had to get everything done outside I know the virus and all. I just would've preferred my pedicure inside it's more relaxing with the spa tub and all vs a little basin. We were squeezed in last min appreciate that as it's hard stopping as a trucker to enjoy things like this. Only other issue my pinky nail fell off the next day so was bummed about that. But they were cute ????
Feet got great treatment thanks for servings me. Feet feels great and looks awesome.
