Quick Facts About Demode Nails
Demode Nails has received a range of comments from customers, both positive and negative. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, let's analyze each comment and identify recurring themes.
1. "This is my second time not being able to get a service here... If they’ve made their money for the day no one wants to service you, like it’s an inconvenience to them."
This comment highlights a weakness of Demode Nails in terms of customer service and availability. It seems that there may be a lack of organization or communication within the salon, leading to missed or forgotten appointments. Additionally, the comment suggests that the staff may prioritize their own convenience over providing services to customers, which can leave clients feeling neglected and unimportant.
2. "Jenni made it such an easy, seamless, and enjoyable process... I seriously went from biting my nails to the nub for 19 years to being able to grow them so long..."
This comment demonstrates a strength of Demode Nails, specifically the skill and expertise of nail technician Jenni. The customer praises Jenni for her ability to transform their nails and help them break a long-standing bad habit. This positive experience with a specific staff member suggests that some technicians at Demode Nails excel in their craft.
3. "Do not use this business... After asking for a full refund I was only offered 50% refund... I had to spend $200 on urgent care."
This negative comment highlights a major weakness of Demode Nails in terms of customer satisfaction and accountability. The customer alleges that they had a negative reaction to the acrylic base, which raises concerns about the safety and quality of the products being used. The customer's dissatisfaction with the response from the salon, as well as the additional cost they had to incur for medical treatment, suggests a lack of professionalism and responsibility on the part of Demode Nails.
4. "The nail tech was new, ended up cutting my foot with the orange buffer... Would not recommend."
This comment exposes a weakness in terms of the competency and skill level of at least one of the technicians at Demode Nails. The customer experienced physical harm during their visit, indicating a lack of attention to detail and proper training. This incident undermines the salon's ability to provide a safe and pleasant experience for its customers.
5. "Demode is great... Meme and staff are awesome!... You may have to wait but it's worth it."
This positive comment highlights a strength of Demode Nails in terms of the friendliness and professionalism of certain staff members. The customer specifically mentions Meme and the staff as being excellent, indicating that there are individuals within the salon who consistently deliver a positive experience. However, the mention of potential wait times suggests a weakness in efficiency and timeliness.
6. "Too expensive...some of the stylists are rude..."
This comment sheds light on two weaknesses of Demode Nails: pricing and staff behavior. The customer expresses dissatisfaction with the high prices, suggesting that the salon may not provide good value for money. Additionally, the mention of rude stylists indicates a lack of professionalism and customer-centricity within the salon.
7. "They charge my 11 yr old 5 extra bucks bcuz he a lil chunky... making my child feel bad."
This comment exposes a weakness in terms of discriminatory and disrespectful behavior towards customers. The customer's child was charged extra based on their size, which is both unprofessional and hurtful. This practice not only reflects poorly on Demode Nails but also leads to the loss of multiple customers, as mentioned in the comment.
Based on these comments, we can identify several strengths and weaknesses of Demode Nails.
Strengths:
1. Technicians like Jenni who demonstrate skill and expertise, helping clients achieve their desired nail transformations.
2. Friendly and excellent staff members like Meme, who contribute positively to the customer experience.
3. Improvement and growth over time, as mentioned by a customer who noticed positive changes in the salon.
4. Nice pedicures and finished nails, as mentioned by a customer who was satisfied with the end results.
Weaknesses:
1. Weaknesses in customer service, including missed appointments, lack of awareness of appointments, and potentially prioritizing convenience over serving customers.
2. Lack of professionalism and accountability, as evidenced by the refusal to provide a full refund for a negative reaction to a product, resulting in additional medical expenses for the customer.
3. Lack of attention to detail and competence, as demonstrated by incidents such as cutting a customer's foot with a buffer and applying a product that caused further harm.
4. Inconsistent pricing and rude behavior from stylists, leading to dissatisfaction and potential loss of customers.
5. Discriminatory practices, such as charging a child extra based on their size and making the customer's child feel bad.
In conclusion, while Demode Nails has certain strengths, such as skilled technicians and friendly staff, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. These include customer service issues, lack of professionalism, competence, consistency in pricing, and discriminatory practices. By addressing these weaknesses, Demode Nails can improve its overall offering and enhance customer satisfaction.

This is my second time not being able to get a service here. The first time I didn’t have an appointment but they told me they could do service when came time no one wanted to do it. I thought maybe if I made an appointment it would be different. I was wrong. I made an appointment for pedi& full set . Arrived no one seemed aware of the appointment. Eventually sat. When it came time for my full set the gentleman said he didn’t know how to ombré which is what I asked for. It was an hour before closing so maybe that’s why. If they’ve made their money for the day no one wants to service you, like it’s an inconvenience to them. Advice to go elsewhere ! 2 stars because my toes are nice
I had never gotten my nails done before I went to Jenni, and she made it such an easy, seamless, and enjoyable process. I seriously went from biting my nails to the nub for 19 years to being able to grow them so long, not touching them once, because I felt so pretty after Jenni worked on them! She SAVED my nails. I look forward to every future set with her.
I could also immediately tell how much Jenni cares about her work and her clients. She makes sure her work is nothing short of perfect and does so many little things to make her client's experience is high quality. She is down to earth, kind, considerate, funny, and seriously worth every cent.
Do not use this business. There is a nail tech there named Mhika also known as Mhia Abby Bunoy who was very unprofessional and rude. After going to her for almost a year I had an adverse reaction to the acrylic base she used. She was using a certain brand on my hands and when it ran out, refilled it with a different brand and did not notify me. When I had a reaction she assured me that it was the same brand and that I had somehow "developed an allergy". After asking for a full refund I was only offered 50% refund after I barely had them on for a week. From there I was told to go to the emergency room or urgent care and that there was nothing else they could do. I have developed burning, blistering, peeling, and bleeding fingers. I had to spend $200 on urgent care. You have been warned.
Friendly staff. The nail tech was new, ended up cutting my foot with the orange buffer. They put a cotton swab on it. She then put a “ relief” powder on it which ended up burning it more. Would not recommend.
Demo nails is excellente and they keep improving every time I go. This is my 3rd time going and Francheska is an amazing nail technician and pedicurist with 13 years of experience!!
Demode is great. Meme and staff are awesome! You may have to wait but it's worth it.
Too expensive was told a fill would be 50.00 for the basic fill- some of the stylists are rude but u want my money. When you call its unprofessional that's a turn off for anyone , they sometimes make appointments. Not for me
