Best TL Reviews

Called today for lunch without booking. Lovely, clean, cool pub on one of the hottest days. Quite possibly the best meal we've had out this year. Fantastic prawn linguine, perfectly cooked steak and the absolute best garlic bread and chips. Quick, friendly service, water and treats for the dog and overall a fabulous visit. We will be back.
Lovely pub, clean and excellent foods. Prices are absolutely reasonable, would say it's cheap for the quality of foods I recieved. Good portion sizes.
Glad I took my family there really
Took my mother in law for lunch yesterday (Saturday). Really nice inside, fantastic food, we had lasagne, followed by cheescake. It was £7.50 for two courses! It was really busy too, which says a lot. Lovely staff. We will definitely be back.
We called and booked ahead on recommendation for the bank holiday monday eat out to help out. It was our first meal out since the lockdown so we were unsure what to expect. We were seated at our table in the marquee. Tables were spaced appropriately and I was very happy in the marquee as the room was airy which made us feel more comfortable. I had steak and my partner had fish and chips. The food was delicious, great portions, came in a timely manner and service with a smile. I would highly recommend anyone to visit here.
Also I highly commend the manager on shift. Rules are in place with number of people on tables to keep us all safe and It was nice to see these rules being broken not being tolerated. This for me gives you bonus points!!!
The staff are lovely. The place itself is clean, tidy, and well looked after. Food was good also. Would definitely go again if we lived in the area. Was over visiting family
We visited The Top Pub after a walk with our dog. The food and drink we had was lovely and the outside area was really well presented. We found the pub to be very dog friendly with treats in jars on the bar. The only thing we felt was due to the set up for food service the inside didn't feel like a cosy country pub.
Very poor service as a result we will be removing our recommendation of The Top Pub from holiday let. Staff got the order wrong , one of the waiters was extremely rude and surely with a take it or leave it attitude, Staff took orders for items not on the menu. There was a long wait between courses when the chicken and pie arrived they were ok but the tagliatelle was swimming in oil, I could if cooked better myself. To end the meal we were told they couldn’t take cards resulting in a scrabble to get cash together. Very disappointing, the first time we went it was great but we won’t be back
We booked the conservatory for a surprise 80th birthday party. The staff were very attentive and the buffet amazing.
