Quick Facts About Travelers Inn

Travelers Inn has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
One of the weaknesses of Travelers Inn is the poor cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. Multiple guests reported filthy rooms with stained bedding, hair, and a strong odor. The carpets were described as dirty, leaving guests' feet black, and there were even reports of roaches in the rooms. These issues indicate a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance, which can greatly impact the comfort and satisfaction of guests.
Another weakness of the hotel is the rude and unhelpful staff. Several guests mentioned encountering staff members who were unfriendly, unresponsive, and unwilling to address their concerns. One guest even mentioned that when they asked for fresh towels, they were directed to find the maid themselves. This indicates a lack of customer service and a negative attitude towards guest satisfaction.
Noise and disturbance seem to be prevalent at Travelers Inn, according to guest comments. The presence of people smoking near the front door, frequent police visits, and overall noise levels were mentioned by multiple guests. These factors can disrupt the peacefulness and restfulness of a stay, making it difficult for guests to relax and enjoy their time at the hotel.
The condition of the surrounding area was also cited as a weakness. One guest mentioned a nearby "nasty trashy hotel" that may negatively affect the attractiveness and ambiance of Travelers Inn. This can give a poor impression to guests and impact their overall experience.
On the positive side, some guests mentioned that Travelers Inn is a budget-friendly option for those looking for inexpensive accommodation. Despite its shortcomings, it can provide a cheap place to sleep for those on a tight budget. Some guests also mentioned friendly staff members, highlighting that not all interactions were negative. For those guests who had a quick and uneventful stay, Travelers Inn served its purpose of providing a place to sleep.
However, these strengths are overshadowed by the numerous weaknesses mentioned in the comments. The cleanliness and maintenance issues, rude staff, noise disturbances, and surrounding area concerns detract from any positive aspects Travelers Inn might have. It is clear from the comments that many guests were highly dissatisfied with their stay and would not recommend the hotel to others.
In conclusion, Travelers Inn has several significant weaknesses that greatly impact the guest experience. The poor cleanliness and maintenance, rude staff, noise disturbances, and surrounding area concerns make it an unattractive option for many travelers. While it may offer inexpensive accommodation, the negative aspects mentioned in the comments make it difficult to recommend Travelers Inn as a suitable place to stay.

Best TL Reviews

Worst place I have ever visited! Staff was rude. Housekeeper clearly on drugs. We were afraid to leave our room. Filthy dirty and smelled horrible. Bed was very uncomfortable with very flat pillows. Roaches everywhere and car was keyed in the parking lot. There was sand and hair in between the sheets. Carpet was so dirty it left our feet black on the bottom. There was alway people smoking right outside the front door, so you always get a lung full going through the door. Very noisy and police showed up periodically. If I could, I wouldn't give any stars at all.
Will not the greatest by far kind of lower to medium Hotel. Good place for a cheap night but was a little run-down and could definitely use a little bit of love. Are no roaches or any bugs or anything it just goes another hotel and they needed some love. How to look like some of the guests have been there for weeks on end but again have no problems no issues I got good sleep if you're looking for a nice inexpensive place to sleep this is it.
Was a okay hotel to live or stay at years ago I used to live monthly in there w/ my bf but recently it really has just been getting worse &&&& WORSE as the years go by, prolly because of the nasty trashy hotel next to it!!!
I would recommend this hotel rather then the Royal ????????????????????
That place is just NO bueno, trashy & a joke!!!!
Nice people!! but very disgusting dirty! Dirty Beds! bedding had stains & hair! we literally were scared to lay on the bed thank god we had big beach towels to lay on the beds we had to sleep on that and threw all bedding on the floor! Towels were straight yellow and covered in stains! O and it smelt soooooo bad! I hate to write a bad review but people need to know don't stay here unless you really have to!! They do not wash anything properly or clean those rooms!
Absolutely disgusting... dirty rooms.. smells like pee in the bathrooms.. no toilet paper, no linens, bedding didnt looked like it had been washed in months.. also smells like something died in the lobby. The man running the front was extremely rude when i asked for fresh towels he told me to go find the maid. And the worst part about the rooms is they had ROACHES.. needless to say i slept in my car and left the next morning
Staff is friendly except the guy I first seen. But their is roaches was a problem for me I left in the middle of the night found another hotel. Smelt really bad from the beginning but figured we were gone lol day we were just gunna sleep but getting ready for bed roches crawling everywhere. I hope they can get that placed cleaned up really good.
Room 109 was the first room we were in. Tho minor, no ice bucket or roller for TP. Worse, the sheets had a hole and stains, one was a blood stain. Much worse, the mattress had large urine stains covering almost all of the king size mattress. Even tho someone at the hotel later blatantly lied and told Booking.com we never advised the staff about the mattress or they would have assisted us. Since they moved us to another room after I advised them of the mattress’s condition, that’s proof of the lie.
We had to wait about 2hrs because an employee (I believe her name is Aleishia [Sp?]) had to clean room 104 per CDC protocols. She was very nice and worked very hard. She apologized profusely for the condition of the mattress in room 109. Room 104 was an upgrade, containing a kitchenette, two TVs and a living room with a sofa bed (which we didn’t use). We were not charged for the upgrade. Everything seemed fine initially but after an hour a cockroach was discovered by the kitchen cabinets. When we opened them we found more. We also discovered the refrigerator door wouldn’t stay closed and we had put drinks inside it. We used a chair to keep it closed. Due to the lateness of the hour we advised desk personnel of both the next morning and were told the owner would spray the room to kill the cockroaches. When we returned that night after being on the lake, we discovered more cockroaches and the fridge door hadn’t been fixed. We had cockroaches all 5 days we were there and we had to use the chair to keep the door shut during our stay. We reported the cockroaches every day but nothing improved. To top off our poor stay we found the door to our room wide open upon our return late at night. No idea how long it had been open. The door was secure when we left and proof of that was how we found the locks. The deadbolt was in the locked position. The bar near the top of the door was closed. These are locks that can only be utilized when the door is closed and from the inside. In these positions the door could not be closed and as I said, we secured the door as we left in the morning.Thankfully nothing had been stolen from our room.My wife and I both had medications, one of hers being an opiate. I advised Tamara at the desk. She came to our room and told us she found the door wide open, so, thinking the customer might be outside having a smoke and may have forgotten their key she put the locks in the position we found them. That story falls apart for several reasons. One, why would she assume the room key was forgotten in the room, there was no evidence of that. Two, even if that was true, why would she leave the door wide open, exposed to anyone walking by or exiting the rooms across from our room. At least close the door as much as possible. Lastly and most damaging; our room was a smoking room, there was no reason to go outside to smoke, which is what Tamara told us she thought the customer was doing (we didn’t smoke). Since the only other people besides us who had the key to our room is staff, it is a logical conclusion to believe one of them opened our room. Why my wife’s opiate meds weren’t stolen is a mystery.
Although she didn’t say how long, Tamara admitted there had been a problem with cockroaches in our room for some time. She immediately tried to curry favor by stating she would give us a free night the next time we stayed at the hotel to make up for everything we had been thru. In less than a minute she offered us a second free night and told us to read the good reviews about the hotel. It was obvious she wanted us to ignore the extremely poor condition of our two rooms and write a good review. Also obvious she attempted to ensure that good review by bribing us with two free nights. I wish I had read the reviews because others had reported mattress stains, linen stains and cockroaches. We never would have stayed here if I had and I normally do.
DO NOT STAY HERE! It took a hour to get checked into my room and when I entered the room it was infested with cockroaches, The bathroom had the most. I didn't stay there and couldn't get a refund. I guarantee if you sleep there you will eat a bug or two while you sleep.
