Never going back to this store again. I don't care if it's the closest one near me. The cashier is racially insensitive. She mocked an African language (Yoruba) from a song that they were playing, in their store that caters to a mostly black demographic and acted like she was having a seizure. When I respectfully called her out on it, she acted like she had no idea. Once I told her what she did can be offensive to some people, and if someone did and said that to mock her language, she would be offended. Sounded like she didn't care. Also, the employees only stopped following people around the store once they hired a darker Indian woman. At this point you guys deserve to go out of business, or take a class on racial sensitivity if you're going to be catering to a black audience in the middle of Stamford.
Great store compared to others.Staff are knowledgeable and polite not racist to melinated/black people like the others foreignand caucasian owned places. They been around for decades and have locations statewide I learned since I'm new here but Growing up the 2 Brothers in my city had EVERY PRODUCT AND HAIR ASSESORY YOU CAN THINK OF!Best place ands down for little girl barrette
I try not to spend my money here too much ijust go here because its convenient when I really need something. I just wish that we start making our own businesses and stop giving these people our money because they always treat us like criminals when we walk in their stores.
They only thing they care about is getting your money! When you spend over $40 dollars and they can't provide a bag for your items this is just sad. I never went back.
This place is over priced severely...and the cashier tried to up charge me for my items. Some of the items that I wanted to perchase were priced at 1-2 pennies less than a whole dollar..( ie- 4.98 instead of 5.00) but the cahier kept rounding up, charging me the whole dollar amount for my items. I had at least 5 items that were priced that way...when I asked him about it he sent a guy to check the items...( like why does he have to go check the prices...an employee of this establishment placed the sticker prices on the items and you should ring them up as they are priced....if there is a mistake then take it up with the employee dont over charge the consumer...anywho the guy came back and said the prices were correct at 4.98). I had recently moved to stamford and was initially happy that I had found a relatively close place to buy my hair care supplies...but that day I went without my supplies becuase I refuse to spend money in an establishment that will try to steal from me...although only pennies, I am sure if I was short the total of those pennies he would have not sold the items to me. From that day to this I have never spent a dollar in that store and I purchase hair products weekly....I drive the distance to support the black owned beauty supply store across town....customer service is never lacking, the prices are MUCH better they always have what I need and parking is FREE!!!!...Being from the south customer service is big for me...especislly if I am going to be patronizing a business...
This local beauty supply has been around for years. Neither me nor my family have had any troubles finding our grooming needs nor are they expensive. Most importantly I remember them as being kind, helpful, and caring. At least 3years later and they still haven't changed at all.
Every time I go there the employees follow me around as if i’m there to steal. The last time I was there they threatened to call the cops on my friends and I after being there for ten minutes. They are so rude and they racially profile. I’ll never shop there again. My suggestion is that you go to Unique beauty supply store in Norwalk, CT. All of my experiences there have been great and the prices are a lot less compared to Two Brothers.
I love this place. Though their prices are a little too high. Like a 12 oz Cantu coconut curling cream was 7.99 and plus tax that was 8.50 for a tiny thing! Other than that it’s amazing. Great variety of everything.
