Quick Facts About Razor's Edge Barber Shop
Razor's Edge Barber Shop has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, we will analyze the comments one by one.
One positive comment states that the barber shop is always packed. This indicates that it is a popular and busy place, which can be seen as a strength. A busy establishment often indicates that customers are satisfied with the services provided and are returning. However, it is important to consider the capacity of the barbershop to handle the high demand and ensure that quality is not compromised by the rush.
Another positive comment highlights the fact that Los Angeles Angels player Mike Trout frequents the barber shop and even flies one of the barbers out to wherever he is for haircuts. This endorsement by a high-profile athlete can be seen as a strength and a testament to the quality of the services provided. It adds credibility and can attract more customers who want to experience the same level of service.
A customer mentions their first visit to a barber shop and expresses satisfaction with their experience, stating that they left looking fresh. This positive feedback indicates that the barbers at Razor's Edge are skilled and capable of providing a desirable haircut. This skill is an important strength for any barber shop as it builds trust and encourages repeat business.
Another comment praises the braiding skills of a specific barber, Dreena. Neat and reasonably priced braids are identified as strengths of Dreena's services. This highlights the diversity of services offered by Razor's Edge Barber Shop and their ability to cater to different preferences and hair types.
On the other hand, there are negative comments that need to be addressed as potential weaknesses. One dissatisfied customer claims that the barbers at Razor's Edge do not know how to cut straight hair and recounts having a poor experience on multiple occasions. This criticism reflects a lack of skill or competence in cutting certain hair types, which can be a weakness for the barber shop.
Another negative comment mentions that the barbers at Razor's Edge act with an attitude, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. This attitude can be seen as a weakness as customer service and a friendly environment are essential for the success of any service-based business, including a barber shop.
One customer expresses frustration with the booking process, stating that they were not informed about the possibility of their appointment being canceled or given to someone else without notice. This lack of communication and transparency can be seen as a weakness in the management and customer service aspect of Razor's Edge Barber Shop. Proper communication and clear policies are crucial to avoid disappointing and inconveniencing customers.
However, despite these weaknesses, a positive comment highlights the exceptional skill and service of the owner, Christian, who has been cutting the customer's son's hair for many years. This demonstrates the strength of having a skilled and experienced owner who can provide quality service to customers.
Another comment praises the overall quality of the barbers at Razor's Edge, stating that they have been going there for years and it is a great place to take their children. This indicates that the barbershop has established a reputation for quality service over time, attracting and retaining loyal customers. This loyalty and positive word-of-mouth can be seen as a strength.
In conclusion, Razor's Edge Barber Shop has several strengths, including a high level of demand, endorsement by a prominent athlete, skilled barbers, and a loyal customer base. However, there are also weaknesses such as potential incompetence with certain hair types, an unwelcoming atmosphere, and issues with communication and customer service. These weaknesses should be addressed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation.

I go by this business all the time and it is packed.
I recently spoke to someone who goes there and they made mention that when Los Angeles Angels own Mike Trout is in his hometown, he goes there. I was advised that he liked it so much, that he fly's one of the barbers out every so often to where ever he is just to get a fresh jersey style haircut. He was rumored to also have the very same barber cut the hair of some of the team mates on the Angels who liked the styles. So, give this place a chance and try it out. If it's good for MT, then you should look into it. I have never heard a complaint about this business.
First time I had ever been to a barber shop in my life. Had me looking so fresh.
I got my hair braided by Dreena. The braids are very neat and not too tight. Her skills are fantastic and prices are very reasonable!
The absolute worst place to go. I felt like no one even knew how to cut strait hair. Went there 3 times. 1 time I left because the guy sitting there with nothingbto do didn't feel like cutting my hair. The place is a joke. They act like having an atitude is cool. Do not go here.
If you are a new customer don’t even bother. They tell you that you can book online or on the app, and they also state if you cancel with out giving an hour notice you have to pay the entire cut and prepay the next haircut. What they failed to mention was that they can cancel or deny your request 30-40 min before the time. I did not receive the message since it was sent via the app not a text or phone call and apparently they have the appointment time to someone who called in well after I had booked online hours before the time. Just like many other shops with unprofessional behavior and bad business practices, they will give your time to a friend or family and just say whatever in order to justify that bad practice. Had I known that phone calls would be given priority I would have just called earlier in the day instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt in thinking they were different from the rest. Nope not at all once a shop reaches a certain level of service and foot traffic they cherry pick their customers swear they’re better then the last guy or the next. Might as well drive an hour to Philadelphia or Delaware and get same or better quality for same or better price. I drive over an hour for food and other services so I don’t mind driving for a decent haircut where I do t have to worry about unprofessionalism.
Hands down, Best Barber Shop, ever! The owner, Christian has been cutting my son's hair, for many years, since he was fresh out of school. We were there the first day he opened his own shop, and we will continue to be loyal customers forever. He has a great, friendly full staff & it's just a great atmosphere that he has created!
After making an appointment and having it confirmed by the owner I showed up to the establishment and to my surprise it was closed. I waited and additional 25 minutes and also called and I got a voicemail. No cool Gio but thanks anyway now I can go to a barber that wants to earn my business
Some of the best barbers in the area. Been going there a few years now after I was a walk in I take my kids there and all great place to go.
