My regular spot was so busy and I just needed that pampering/maintenance so I checked out Ucare Nails Bar. No disappointment here. Nicki and Tony were amazing and made me feel relaxed. Their attention to detail was the best!
I went for dip powder about a month ago, it was worse dip powder service. The lady that did mine didn't know how to do them. You could see the powder dried up in between the dipping and nail polish. Quite disappointing given the good reviews this place has. This was my first time, so I'm obviously not coming back. Word if advice, don't have nail technicians do services they clearly have no idea how to do.
I recently took my friend here to get mani/pedis for her college graduation and we had a wonderful time! The nail technicians were all so friendly and skilled. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot stone leg massages, and our nails turned out so cute. We will definitely be back!
I went as a walk in this evening at 4:30 I wanted to get my nails done for Christmas. I was sat immediately which I liked everything was clean and nice up until my associate used the Dremel and file. She rubbed my fingers raw, it’s been almost 4 hours and my fingers hurt so bad. One of the male associates was standing really close to me and made me uncomfortable to the point my husband had to come inside. Definitely not worth the $43 I paid!!
Salon very clean, nicely decorated with a large selection of nail polish. I had Hanna for a pedicure and she did a wonderful job, very meticulous and gentle. My daughter had a pedicure as well and was very happy with her technician- said it was the best she's ever had! Will definitely return!!!
I'll be honest, the employees here are pretty hit or miss with their work. Some bad, some okay, some good. However the employees that are good, are really good. I recommend requesting Tony for nails and Trang does excellent eyelashes.
I decided to try this place instead of the usual place I go to since they are closer to home. I walked in and asked for a new set of acrylic nails. The wait wasn't bad and they were busy when I walked in so no biggie there. When I sat down, I was asked again what I wanted. I said I want a new set of acrylic nails, coffin shaped and black. Everything started fine then I was moved to a new guy to finish my nails, sorry I don't remember his name. He was the only employee in the place not wearing a mask and only using a plastic shield between me and him. He cut my pinky and pointer finger using the dremel as he was getting the old acrylic off. I did appreciate they soaked off the old acrylic instead of jamming a nail tip under it to pry it off. He started asking about the shape and length of my nails again to which I replied I wanted glued on tips, shortish and coffin shaped. He shaped my regular nails to which again I asked if we were going to put on tips and he didn't reply. Just said coffin shaped. He started putting on gel acrylic powder on my bare, plain nails and after 2 I asked when the tips were going on and he said that it would make my nails too long and kept applying. He asked two nails later if I wanted tips on my nails and I said I did but at this point I guess this is fine since we already are here. About every 5 minutes, whenever he had me soaking or washing my hands, he would go out for a cigarette break and came back in stinking of cigarette smoke. He then told me the total was 53 dollars which seemed like a heck of a lot for what I didn't want. I paid and walked out really disappointed since I feel like I wasn't listened to at all. I have black gel on my fingers on 3 of my fingers, sore cuticles and nails that aren't what I wanted. I wont be coming back here in the future.
I went here for my sisters birthday, we scheduled two acrylics, one gel, and one pedicure. We got there and either they had forgotten the pedicure or they didn’t hear us but either way they weren’t prepared for a pedicure. So my boyfriend ( the one getting the pedicure) was told to sit in the chair and wait, they filled the tub with water and he sat there waiting. It was an hour until they even got to him, and the water was cold. Not to mention when they finally did get to him they rushed the job and used a pumice stone on the TOP of his feet. He had awful red scabs on the top of his feet for at least a week. I got my acrylics done that same day and a few of the nails were crooked and the color of the nails on one hand was a completely different color on the other. I’ve gone to this place for years and usually they do a great job but the last few times they’ve really dropped the ball. Recently there’s even been as long as a 30 minute wait even if you have an appointment time. I just went and got mine done again and multiple nails were crooked, and the shape was completely wonky. One nail was so bad I had to fix the shape myself at home. I had showed them a design and tried to explain what I wanted multiple times but the end result looked nothing like what I wanted and she charged extra for a design I didn’t even ask for nor did I want. I broke one of the nails shortly after getting them done and came back for them to fix it, they fixed it and the acrylic was applied too thick, not to mention it was done in a completely different color now I have one nail that is orange while the others are pink. I used to really love this place but I sadly no longer trust them with my nails.
