Quick Facts About Us Nails & Spa
Us Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments received. Let's discuss them in detail:
Strengths:
1. Friendly and professional service: One commenter mentioned that the staff is friendly and professional. This indicates that the salon has a welcoming environment and offers good customer service.
2. Knowledgeable nail technician: Another commenter praised a specific nail technician named Tony, stating that they did an excellent job. This implies that the salon has skilled and knowledgeable staff members who can provide quality services.
3. Accommodating appointments: One customer mentioned that they were able to get an appointment when other places were closed. This suggests that Us Nails & Spa is flexible and willing to accommodate customers' needs.
Weaknesses:
1. Poor nail service: Multiple commenters expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of the nail services provided. They mentioned issues like lumpy and wide nails, nails falling apart after a short time, misshapen nails, and polish with grooves. These comments indicate inconsistent and subpar service quality, which can be a significant weakness for the salon.
2. Unprofessional behavior: Some commenters mentioned unprofessional behavior by the staff. Instances include a nail technician blaming the customer's previous nail technician for a mistake and one staff member continuously asking for a tip. These incidents show a lack of professionalism and may negatively impact customers' experiences.
3. Unsatisfactory pricing policies: One commenter expressed dissatisfaction with the pricing, claiming that they were charged extra for services that should have been included in the base price. Another mentioned feeling overcharged for a service. These pricing issues highlight a lack of transparency and fair practices, which can create a negative perception among customers.
4. Injuries during services: Multiple customers reported incidents where they suffered injuries during their nail services. These include deep cuts, bleeding, and burning sensations. Such incidents demonstrate a lack of proper technique and potential negligence, which can be a significant weakness for the salon's reputation and customer satisfaction.
5. Lack of hygiene practices: One customer mentioned that a towel used to wipe their bleeding toe was then put in the laundry. This shows a lapse in hygienic practices, which is concerning, especially during the current pandemic when cleanliness and sanitation are of utmost importance.
In conclusion, Us Nails & Spa has several weaknesses that need to be addressed, including poor nail services, unprofessional behavior, unsatisfactory pricing practices, incidences of injuries, and inadequate hygiene standards. While there may be some strengths like friendly service and knowledgeable staff, the negative comments outweigh the positive ones, indicating a need for improvement in various areas to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a reputable image.

Yea so they did this to me YESTERDAY. It's that bad over night. She cut my toe nail so deep and claimed there was an ingrown. They're absolutely could have been but I've had ingrown removed before and never walked out looking like this. My toe bled and she wiped it using a towel they she put in the laundry my blood was all over it She also after cutting it prodded it with a metal tool that made it bleed more. Then she WITHOUT WARNING ME pourd an accesive amount of alcohol on it. It burned like crazy, then she did it again. My toe is massively infected leaking goop and all I wanted was a pedicure ????. Literally a new mom it's the first time I've done anything for myself on ages and then this happened.
I came here to get a nail fill. I usually go to Stacy’s lashes, but they were closed. I came here and it appeared to be closed, but there was a sign on the door Asking for customers to call for more information. So I called and they had me go through the back door, which I thought was odd, but I was just so glad to get an appointment considering everywhere else is closed and my nails were starting to look like trash.
I went in on January 5, 2021, today is January 13, 2021. It has only been eight days and my nails are completely falling apart. I asked for coffin style, square shaped nails. In no way shape or form are these coffin style, square shaped nails. They are extremely lumpy throughout. Some of the nails are crooked, and I tried to point that out to her, but she blamed it on my previous nail technician. Which I found to be highly unprofessional, completely inaccurate, and insulting. My regular nail technician leaves my nails looking flawless every single time. If he were to put a nail on crooked, he makes it look like it never happened.
Initially, I was not going to make a negative review. I just wanted to be done and over with it, but now that my nails are falling apart after eight days, I’m a little aggravated. I’d like to share my horrible experience. I don’t think anybody should waste their time going here. At one point she cut into my skin as she was filing my nails, and I mentioned that it was beginning to burn, and she insisted that she did not cut me. As I was driving home I realized I was bleeding.
The nails I requested were very simple. The jewel formation I requested was very simple. It took her two hours to complete a nail fill. I explain to her multiple times how I wanted the jewel formation, and I even showed her a picture. She was still unable to complete the task. To add insult to injury, my nails are now completely falling apart. My nail technician would never do me this dirty.
The initial cost of the nail fill was $28.00. To add Jewels to two fingers was an additional $6.00. In total this cost me $34.00. I will generally tip my nail technician $20.00, but I only tipped her $11.00, which I now regret.
I don’t care if there’s not a single salon open in the state of California, I will never go here again.
Bad job, after two days they got up and I have to take them off because they get tangled in my clothes and hair
They are friendly and professional. I love how Tony did my nails. Update.... Tony did my nails again and I finally found the shape I REALLY like!! It's coffin with rounded corners so I don't scratch or poke my customers when I do their hair.????
My girlfriend came to this spot to get her nails (Mani/Pedi) done for a wedding we were attending. Two ladies worked on her nails but the lady who did her pedi was rude and kept asking for a tip. She also made her bleed and continued to work on her pedi acting like nothing happened even when it was obvious that she was in pain. Her toe swelled up shortly after. Mani was not done right; misshapen and sloppy coat of nail polish. Prices are too high for the result. Definitely do not recommend this place. 35 for mani and 55 for pedi plus the tip the lady kept harassing my girlfriend about.
terrible job on my nails… they’re really lumpy and wide????
This was my 3rd visit to US Nail & Spa, as my two previous visits were positive. I walked into the salon expecting to pay around $35 for a dip manicure. I sat in the nail technician's chair for over an hour while she did my nails, and she never uttered a word about charging me extra money to remove old nail polish from my last previous visit, and also charging me extra because my natural nails are long ( my natural nails are less than 3/4 inch long.)
I go to the front to pay and the guy told me I owed $49! I was shocked. He said they're charging me $7 to remove nail polish and $2 because my natural nails are long. No where in the salon states that they charge extra to remove old nail polish and they charge extra for nail length. What am I paying $40 for if removing nail polish and caring for my natural nails isn't included in the price! They're looking to Nickle & dime you for anything which violates consumers rights.
This time Wendy did a lousy job on my nails. My nails are all different lengths and shapes, and the polish is lumpy. She didn't even put the hot towel or lotion on my hands after my service was finished, and they had the audacity to charge me $49.
I always tip 15% I'm always respectful and this is how I'm treated. Do not spend your money here. They violated my consumer rights with unfair pricing practices. The Yelp review are true. Don't get your nails done here they don't value their customers.
1st and last time..my nails are too thick..i asked for thin and said she can do....well she can't and polish has groves on some nails...
