I visited the salon today in recommendation from a very good friend of mine, who frequents the salon, she has never had an issue, but as a first time patron of the salon, I will never ever be back.

I just wanna start at the beginning. I called and made an appointment with a specific nail tech, and I walk in for my appointment and the older gentleman and the older lady at the front of the salon refused to verbally communicate the entire time that I was in the salon, they would just point at what they wanted you to do or where they wanted you to go. Once I sat down in the nail techs chair, she very painful. He started to rip off my old set of acrylic nails, and when I would tell her that it hurt me. She wouldn’t change anything about what she was doing. and I want to preface this by saying that I have been getting my nails done for at least 10 years so I knew that she was doing it on purpose. After that was over with I moved to another nail tech, who put my new acrylic tips on and begin to shape my nails. And this is where I really started to have the problem. He filed them down so incredibly short that there is nothing left of the acrylic tips. It is just my real finger nails with gel on top. And when I would tell him to stop filing them and making them smaller, he would just do it more and none of them are the same size when you compare them to the opposite hand. I was very very unhappy with the way my nails turned out, but I just want it out of that salon as fast as possible. I didn’t wanna make them fix it because I knew they were just going to be rougher and they still weren’t gonna turn out good.

However, the only good thing I can say about this salon is the young gal that painted my nails was very sweet and was apologetic for the way that they treated me and painted my nails and they look beautiful. However, they are misshapen they are itty-bitty, tiny nails, and definitely not what I went in there and asked them for and showed them pictures of.

I asked her to only remove my power polish and paint my nails. My natural nail had grown out and was long and square. She filed my nails down super short and round. She nicked me twice with the cuticle cutter.

The polish she put on chipped off after only two days. When I went to pay she said " give me $20", Very unprofessionally. I gave my card and she asked me twice for cash.

The family that runs this, is super nice. Have been going for years. Always super nice. This time the daughter did my daughter's nails and the son did mine. Thanks so much

My girls and I were clients for 10 years and one appointment Kim did my nails I was not happy but I went back never said anything I figured it happens I thought the next time her daughter did my nails and I loved them so 3 times after I ask Kim for her daughter to do my nails and she say ok I’ll start if her daughter was busy and take polish off and her daughter would finish so another appointment Kim started my nails I told her I wanted her daughter like the previous times to finish them she took offense and attitude changed I reminded her when she was continuing the service that I wanted her daughter to finish my service she got upset and kicked me out nails undone I was shocked and embarrassed I didn’t make a scene I didn’t even respond cause I didn’t want to be that black person after loudly being told to pay for my eyebrow service and never come back 10 years we watched each other kids grow up I silently paid and left #iguessshewashavingabadday

This is my go to nail salon, worth driving from downtown to Hixson for. Affordable family ran and the highest quality. Tell Van your nail design ideas and she will make them come true!

I used to love Ms. Kim. She’s very sweet and personable. However things have changed with her salon and herself. She always rushes my toes so my gel never stays on for more than a day or two while I’m still paying full price. Always loved coming here because not only is it conveniently close to home but Ms. Kim has always been the sweetest. I’m not interested in wasting anymore money with them though

I would not recommend unless you like a rough pedicure and very painful massage chairs. He rubbed the scrub on my legs like it was a lotion, which made my legs score and burning, only had my feet in the water maybe 5 minutes be for he started trimming my nails. didn’t leave the hot towel on my legs or feet only winped them off with the towel. seemed very rushed and not worth the $. ran my card twice and wanted to run it again even though bank shows funds withdrawn.
