Quick Facts About Victorian Inn

Victorian Inn is a motel that has received a mix of positive and negative comments from guests. In order to provide an analysis of its strengths and weaknesses, we will examine the comments and identify recurring themes.
One of the strengths of Victorian Inn is its friendly and helpful staff. Multiple guests mentioned the kindness and helpfulness of the lady at the front desk, as well as the manager. This positive customer service experience contributes to a welcoming and pleasant stay at the motel.
The cleanliness of the rooms is another strength that is repeatedly mentioned in the comments. Guests praised the cleanliness of the rooms, stating that they were clean and tidy. A clean and well-maintained room is crucial for a comfortable stay, and Victorian Inn seems to meet this expectation.
The comfort of the beds is also highlighted as a positive aspect of the motel. Guests appreciated the comfort of the beds and the overall cozy and "homey" feel of the rooms. A comfortable bed is essential for a good night's sleep, and Victorian Inn seems to provide this.
Another strength of Victorian Inn is its location. Guests mentioned its proximity to Lake Keystone and Cleveland, which provides convenient access to the local area and various activities. Additionally, the presence of a nearby restaurant called Shiloh's is seen as a positive aspect, as it offers convenient dining options for guests.
Affordability is also mentioned as a strength of Victorian Inn. Several guests mentioned the reasonable price of the rooms and compared it favorably to other options in the area. The affordability of the motel makes it an attractive choice for travelers on a budget.
On the other hand, there are some weaknesses mentioned by guests that need to be addressed. The most significant concern raised by multiple guests is the security of some of the rooms. One guest mentioned gaps around the door and being able to see daylight from around the deadbolt, which required the use of a chair for added security. Another guest mentioned a split door jam, indicating a possible security issue. Ensuring the safety and security of the rooms should be a priority for Victorian Inn, as this is essential for guest satisfaction.
Several guests also commented on the need for updates and renovations in the motel. One guest mentioned that the rooms are "shabby chic" with vintage furniture, but others expressed a need for modernization. The ill-fitting doors and outdated facilities suggest that Victorian Inn may lack some necessary updates to keep up with modern standards.
While the restrooms were mentioned as functional, the overall suggestion is that they could benefit from improvement in terms of appearance and maintenance. This indicates that there may be room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and aesthetics in the restrooms.
In conclusion, Victorian Inn has several strengths, such as a friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, a convenient location, and affordability. However, there are also some weaknesses that need to be addressed, including security concerns, the need for updates and renovations, and room for improvement in restroom maintenance and aesthetics. By addressing these weaknesses, Victorian Inn can enhance the overall guest experience and maintain its position as a desirable lodging option.

Best TL Reviews

I give this place 5 stars. The very sweet lady at the front desk was very helpful and very nice. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. A real homey feel.
Stayed one night, would not stay again. Had to get any extra roll of toilet paper just to stuff in all the gaps around the door. You could see daylight from around the deadbolt. Had to put a chair in front of the door for security. Rented 2 rooms, both of the wives agreed that they would not stay there by themselves. The older woman that checked us in, apologized for many different issues, but I think that nothing will ever get fixed.
Loved this motel. Everyone should go in the lobby, and just enjoy how beautiful it is.
Think shabby chic~the rooms are so adorable with vintage, antique furniture in them. Can't beat the price and location! It's 15 minutes from the lake with a scrumptious diner right next door. Property very quiet, non-smoking or smoking rooms. Will definitely be returning ???????? and if you are trying to decide between here or lake shore motel, let me tell you the Victorian is well worth the extra 10 minutes to the lake over the other gross one.
Stayed last night and was very pleased. The price was great with no crazy deposit like other hotels. The room was very clean and nice. The woman in the office was friendly and made you feel welcome. No bed bugs. We will definitely be using this motel again.
The proprietor Maria is really nice and helpful. The motel itself is pretty much like you'd expect in a small town like this. It was clean but needs a lot of updating. My door was ill fitting and the door jam was split like someone had tried to kick the door in.
As others have said, the restrooms are really Tony but functional.
The towels and washcloths are exceptionally soft. I'm not sure how they do that.
There is a very nice restaurant called Shiloh's next door.
My two daughters and I stayed one night January 2022. It felt a bit like going back in time to simpler days. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. I would certainly stay there again
The Manager here is the sweetest Lady. This place is a nice surprise of small town hospitality and quant affordability. The rooms are very comfortable and there is so much to do in the local area. Close to Lake Keystone and Cleveland the place is a real treat. I also recommend the restaurant right next door Shiloh's! This place has great made from scratch home cooking. Solid A for the Victorian and Shiloh's within their respective categories.
