Nice reverb on the pub and quite warm inside however 5 staff were all standing behind the bar and only one serving .. the rest were chatting and one young lady was eating a pot of jelly behind the bar !!!! Come on guys that can’t be right !!!.. where is the hygiene in that ??? Young man didn’t have a clue how to pull beer .. more training required I would say . Food was much improved so good on that front .
Better clothing required for the staff ..

Thank you so much to Donna and the team for a fabulous Mother’s Day afternoon tea! My Mum is notoriously hard to please, but she was very impressed today with the very generous and delicious offerings, so very well done! Special bonus points for giving her dog Ruby lots of attention too ????

Called in for a coffee and sandwich at lunchtime. Only 3 other couples there. After 40 minutes we asked where our food was to be told they were just doing it. 10 minutes later it arrived. What terrible service. Wouldn't want to go there if they were busy ie more than 8 people there. Will not be going back.
Visited for a family wake! Buffet was brilliant and well presented.
Bar persons were very helpful and knowledgeable on their products!
We we went when it was quiet. Enjoyed our food, only quibble is the veg is slighly over cooked and not very warm, but we did enjoy what we had to eat was lovely, but other wise very friendly staff and very clean pub..

Friendly staff, good service, food was lovely , I didn't want bbq sauce on hunters chicken and they did it so shows food cooked to order not prepacked like many places, good to see
Waited 20min to be served, bar staff messed about with pointless tasks. Worrying about tips instead of serving. Only one person serving and he looked like he had just seen a computer screen for the first time.
