Quick Facts About Wonder Burgers
Wonder Burgers is a Mexican-American Mom & Pop owned restaurant that serves burgers, sandwiches, breakfast, and Mexican food. The strengths and weaknesses of the establishment can be deduced from the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one commenter mentions that the food is pretty good for what it is. This implies that Wonder Burgers delivers quality food that satisfies customers. Additionally, the fact that the restaurant has survived the flu virus pandemic is seen as a strength, indicating that it has been able to navigate through challenging times.
The cleanliness of Wonder Burgers is also praised by one commenter who describes it as considerably clean. This suggests that the establishment prioritizes hygiene, which is crucial in the food industry.
Furthermore, the friendliness of the staff is highlighted by a customer who had a pleasant experience. Good customer service is an important strength for any restaurant, as it can enhance the overall dining experience and encourage repeat visits.
The old-fashioned aesthetic and ambiance of Wonder Burgers contribute to its strengths, with an 80's kitsch decor and the presence of booths and window seating. This can attract customers who appreciate nostalgic atmospheres.
Another strength mentioned is the availability of parking options. With parking available in the rear and on the street, customers have convenient access to the restaurant.
Moving on to the weaknesses, a recurring issue mentioned by commenters is the restaurant's opening time. Although the sign indicates that it opens at 7 am, customers have reported delays in the kitchen's readiness, with food not being served until around 7:20 am or 7:25 am. This lack of punctuality can lead to customer dissatisfaction, especially for those who are in a hurry or have limited time for breakfast.
The limited operating hours of Wonder Burgers is also seen as a weakness. According to a commenter, the restaurant is usually not open in the evenings, restricting potential customers who prefer dining out for dinner.
Another weakness noted is the absence of television screens. While some patrons may appreciate a screen-free dining experience, others may prefer having TVs to watch sports or stay updated on current events. This can limit the appeal of Wonder Burgers to a specific audience.
Additionally, a commenter mentions that they did not use the restrooms, implying that the cleanliness or quality of the restroom facilities is uncertain. Hygienic and well-maintained restrooms are essential for any dining establishment, and the lack of information regarding this aspect can be seen as a weakness.
In conclusion, Wonder Burgers has several strengths, such as good food quality, surviving the pandemic, cleanliness, friendly staff, nostalgic ambiance, and convenient parking. However, the restaurant has weaknesses including delays in opening, limited operating hours, lack of television screens, and uncertain restroom conditions. These aspects should be considered when evaluating Wonder Burgers as a dining option.

Nice Mexican- American Mom & Pop Owned Business serving Burgers, Sammies, Breakfast & Mexican Fare.
Food is pretty good for what it is. Older 80's kitsch here. A few Booths and Window Seating.
Parking in the rear OR Street Parking.
I didn't use the Restrooms.
Haven't been here forever but, am glad they Survived The Flu Vi-rus Pandemonium.
Place is considerably clean and most people seem to order TO GO.
No TVs. Radio playing.
They're usually Not Open in the Evenings. I believe it's just Breakfast & Lunch.
Decent food. They're consistently behind in the morning. Their sign says open at 7 but they're not actually ready to serve customers till 7:20/7:25.
I’ve passed this place for over a decade without ever thinking about stopping in even though I work just a few blocks away. From the outside, it just never really struck me as the kind of place I needed or even wanted to enter, but earlier this week, I got a craving that could only be satisfied by a chili dog or a Hawaiian vacation. Due to lack of funds, I chose the chili dog route.
The building is very unassuming and is empty any time I drive by after 3:30 so I wondered on the walk there if it would be open or even still in business, but lucky me... it was 3:15 and barely still open. I knew what I wanted (CHILI DOG) and noticed a couple variations, including one called a “hangover dog” which basically just adds jalapeños (the LAST thing I crave when I’m hungover).
ANYWAY... the place is old but immaculate, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the chili dog kicked a$$!! As shown in the photo I took, a random ray of sun poked perfectly through the clouds and the window to shine right on the center of it just before my first bite. (Disclaimer: Wonder Burger is not officially endorsed or blessed by your favorite supreme being.)
OK, OK, I’m getting carried away here, but seriously... I’m sooo glad I went and will definitely be back. If you’re in the area and are craving some really awesome food hot off a greasy grill, give them a try. You might be disappointed, but then again, you might also be a butthead. Hahaha! JK ;-)
A quaint quiet little restaurant tucked away on this street. There's nothing quite like watching the rain, sipping on your coffee, eating some scrumptious breakfast, and listening to 80's power ballads on the radio. It's takes you to a different time, very relaxing ????
Pastrami burger was good.
We absolutely enjoy and love our trip and time at wonderburger. Martha is a pleasure and provides excellent service and conversation.
Todo demasiado rico, sus papás muy ricas, acompañadas con chile toreado y una excelente ???? ????????????????
I grew up going here I moved out of state a few years ago but this is always a place I go to when I go back home. I miss the old Greek man working there and running the place but it's still the same.
