Best TL Reviews

I went in at 10:30 this morning and just got released without the set that I wanted, I have ingrown toenails which I announced because a few of the people there I knew were awesome but they gave me an older man, who seemed to be in training. He literally hurt me so badly I cried, they sent a woman to switch but then he came back pressing and such on the hurt toes. Collagen pedi, not the standard but one of the best. The full set, I asked for short point or stiletto nails ???? and received slightly rounded after I told Romeo I didn’t want a round point, no roundness in it, was my exact quote. I’ve had Romeo before and he was very attentive, but this day I was released from urgent care, not made up, but in desperate need of comfort and care and was willing to pay for it. I left paying $130.00 for the most painful pedicure you can ever imagine with no color I add, and nails that are misshapen and messy, stuff built up I’m peeling up now,
And not a FULL COVERAGE MATTE color. Which is black so easily seen.
I had fresh nails I hadn’t gone in a couple of months, they should look amazing, they don’t. So I’m sharing my opinion. You never know what someone’s going through and to actually cause physical pain and then to disregard their desires… very unprofessional, I have never experienced this before at Nail Envy, but that pain was enough to never go back. Not to mention When you’re paying for it, you deserve to get what you ask for. It literally looks like I need a refill.
I wanted stiletto nails, black matte, with some little jewels..... I am covered in nail polish. My hands, arm, face, shirt that luckily matched the nail polish, and pants. The owner couldn't get the gel on my thumbs to dry. We tried switching machines, different hand positions, etc. I did my best to follow his instructions. When the coat wouldn't dry completely, he used the most coarse drill bit he could find and sent paint flying everywhere. All over me, other customers, the counter, and himself. Not once, not twice,, not 3 times. 4 times. In his defense he did try to clean the nail polish off, but died out my skin with rye acetone. I asked if he just wanted to use regular nailpolish instead, but insisted it was my fault for taking my nails out before they were dry. Other customers laughed at us. He ended up quitting and having another woman finish the job. Worked no problem. After it was said and done, I didn't even bother with the matte and jewels. I used to live going here. Never again. I'm horrifically embarrassed. The owner gave me a hand lotion for the troubles. Too bad I am allergic to it.
Ill also post pictures of day 2.
Went in for pedi and dip. The service I received was substandard. The environment was un-welcoming, experience un-relaxing. Keep in mind that people are PAYING for a service and deserve respect and satisfactory results at minimum. My services (pedi/dip nails)were rushed. Now while I personally don’t have an issue with anyone speaking their native language in such atmospheres or anywhere honestly, today the interactions amongst the techs were downright distasteful and unprofessional. The NONSTOP loud obnoxious, cackling, talking (in their native language) and looking over at work being performed on each others’ clients can be easily misconstrued; it’s equivalent to a pair whispering excessively one to another while they’re amongst a group of people;it’s rude. Inclusive questions pertaining to the service(s) weren’t asked by techs. I had to literally excuse myself and butt in to their dialogue a couple of times to make my desires known when standard choices such as would I prefer just a file, cut down, or shape should’ve been asked by staff. By the time I caught the pedicurist’s attention, she had already clipped a few of my toenails, which I didn’t want. We were a very diverse group of clientele and just looked at each other like, really? They were so loud. Uhhh I couldn’t wait to burn rubber and get out of there. Never again!
They did a wonderful job with my nails, however I had to wait about 5h to do my toes and nails.
Having my toes done It was extremely slow, to end in that result. Disappointed.
Really enjoyed my dip polish. Offered us drinks while we waited a short time. girl was so nice and did a great job! Will def recommend and return!
This is the only place I frequent for my pedicures. So this review is regarding pedicures mainly, thus the rating is for pedicures. I like the atmosphere in the pedicure section. It is not just one open space where the pedicure chairs are exposed to every one who walks in. Walk-ins are welcome and they have around 10 pedicure chairs with the staff to attend them so as soon as I pic my color, I can be seated. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a pedicure. Their pedicure selection is very large as well. There are about 20 different types of pedicures available, so you will easily find one to fit your budget and time frame. The technicians vary in skill level from very good to excellent. I've never had an average or bad pedicure from them, and I'm there every 12 weeks going on 5 years now.
Briefly, regarding manicures: I have had a fill-in there once. Never again. You're seated at a bar type station. That is a turn-off for me straight away. The manager (male) was very short tempered and rude. Wanted me to insert my finger into this container that held polish remover and a sponge ???? God only knows how many other people of various hygiene levels had inserted their finger into the same container. Dude, I'm paying YOU to do my nails ???? I really think removing my polish would be involved in that transaction. The fill in was average and done quickly. This was before I started using gel polish and I scuffed my nail putting my seat belt on in the car. No way was I going in and asking for a touch-up. I just patted the color down and went to my usual manicurist since then.
I love husband and wife young couple!! I'll come back and add the names!!
Love to see my friend get her nails done.
