Decided to go here for my first braids in a long time. A very relaxed home-like environment. Showed the lady a quick picture of what I wanted and provided the exact braid. They are very tight and clean, would recommend to any male thinking about braid patterns specifically cornrows braid patterns. Also was very pleased with the time she finished them.
They are great I had it in for 3 moths and it still look great I had to take out cause need wash they also took out it took 1 he to take out. I love this hair spot this shop is reasonable priced. The only braiding spot I go to in albany
Everyone in the salon was so friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable. I brought my granddaughter there for box braids and will definitely go back!!
I got my hair braided here a few days ago and I love it. It came out so neat, the braids aren't tight and they didn't overcharge for a simple style. I recommend going to them but bring your own hair. They charge extra money for the hair on top of the service.
They will braid your hair so tight you will look like you had a facelift. You can beg them not to braid that tightly, but they won't listen. Your scalp will cry for about 3 days after your appointment. If you like really tight braids... this is the place for you. If you're hair is thinning, weak, or damaged... you will lose hair. It is easy to get an appointment.
Her sister is a great braider, but customer service sucks! Adja always changes prices and expects for you to just pay what she says. She’ll tell you she’ll call you back and guess what? She doesn’t. Won’t be back and won’t recommend anyone to go.
Adja African hair braiding in Albany are the best, they ready for any type of braid and they never disappoint
My first visit went well. I requested cornrows and one of the ladies did a great job. My second visit was less than pleasant. The same lady from my first visit did my hair. This time around, I requested only 2 braids but the part was completely off-center. When I pointed this out, she swiftly removed the braids. However, she acted as if I was wrong for having an issue with her work. I even offered to pay despite being unsatisfied. The attitude that followed was unnecessary.
