LIFE-CHANGING facial by Lissy, their esthetician! My partner and I had plans to attend Martha’s Vineyard. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather we thought it was best to cancel those plans. He decided that we get facials instead. Lissy was able to accommodate us on what was already a busy holiday weekend. The experience from start to finish was nothing short of AMAZING. Lissy made me feel extremely comfortable, she took her time, answered questions as they arose, and I left leaving feeling refreshed with my skin glowing. I had my facial with Lissy before my partner, and I joked about requesting him giving up his facial to me so that I could enjoy the experience even longer. This surprise impromptu schedule change was exactly what was needed to make my vacation getaway feel complete. Do yourself a favor…if you are a hard working individual like myself and often struggle to find time for self-care for yourself, change that today by starting with a facial with Lissy. You won’t regret it, and will thank yourself for it!
Loved my experience and haircut here! Lilia was my stylist, and she was wonderfully friendly and experienced. She gave great advice on styling, and efficient, but not rushed! I would definitely go back or refer a friend.

I started seeing Michelle around 3-4 years ago. I had just moved to the US as a college student. I wasn’t sure who I could trust with my hair so I’d gone about 6 months without a cut. My hair in the meantime had gotten very oily and dry (an awful combination). I had wash my hair basically everyday because it would get oily so quickly. With Michelle’s guidance and scalp balancing regimen, I was able to regain and improve my hair’s/scalp’s health and strength. I am grateful for her expertise and care. I even convinced my mother and then my brother to start seeing her. We are all now her devoted clients! I live in New York now and when I get the chance to visit, I always try to get an appointment with her.
This past visit, I decided to be adventurous and get a dark red balayage. She did an incredible job with the process and expertly maintained the health and shine of my hair. I thank my lucky stars to have someone like Michelle and Aluna Salon Spa. I highly recommend!
There's a lash service in the aluna salon by lash technician Kristina. Best prices in Boston for lash extention, plus great quality. She makes your eyes come alive. I been going to her for about a year now, and have never been happier with my lashes.
Very rude and unprofessional lady on the front desk who handles client like she runs their schedules.
Even though they sell on Groupon, it is so obvious from their in-person approach that Groupon users are their least favourite people. For me it was the worse experience ever, they asked me to pay $25 deposit for cancellation of an appointment and then when I show up on time, they say that the person who will be doing my facial has delayed the appointment by an hour. They have no courtesy to call and let the client know about internal delays and when I say that I can’t wait so long they speak so rudely. They charged me $25 for their delays!!!! Looks like this is a great way to make additional bucks for this salon.Terrible experience
Definitely on the expensive/luxury side, but you can just tell they use very high quality products (smelled natural). Also it got expensive because my hair is very long... Liliya was my stylist and she was extremely thorough with everything and the result is magic! I will come back

This email is intended for the Manager that runs this establishment. I went in yesterday on 8/4 for a facial that I obtained from Groupon. At the start of the service I had a medical emergency and felt faint. The technician Lissy was understanding and told me that I could reschedule. She only applied cleanser and sun screen to my skin. When I left the room I had to go to the bathroom and wash my face with water because I still felt dizzy and faint. When I got to the desk this other woman she didn’t say her name but she immediately asked me for my group on which I showed her and she demanded that I give a tip. I was having a medical emergency and didn’t want to argue so I gave a tip for no services received! When I left I realized she asked for the group on so she could redeem it. I am a black woman and I feel this establishment discriminated against me. The other woman showed no empathy and only wanted money! I contacted Groupon to update them on what happened. I could have been a potential customer and I should not have been treated this way . I am so disgusted that this establishment on Newbury Street Would treat it’s black customers this way . I am pretty sure if I was white I would not have been treated this way. I will never return to your establishment and I will make sure Groupon mknows of this and will right this in a review so people know how your business is run!
