Quick Facts About Bergenline Nails
Bergenline Nails place has a mix of strengths and weaknesses, as indicated by the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one commenter noted that the pedicure service was good and mentioned that the staff was friendly. Another positive comment mentioned that the gel manicure service was great, with no wait time and quick service. The price was also considered reasonable, which is another positive aspect. Additionally, there was a mention of a funny and entertaining front desk person who made the appointments and did nails nicely.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses that were mentioned by various commenters. One recurring issue is the lack of proper communication and misinterpretation of customer requests. This led to incorrect nail color choices, wrong nail shapes, and nails cut too short, causing sensitivity. The inconsistent skill level of the staff is also highlighted, with commenters mentioning inexperienced technicians making mistakes like cutting customers and applying acrylics improperly.
Another concerning aspect mentioned in the comments is the unprofessional behavior of some staff members. One commenter mentioned that the nail technician named Laura was vaping and texting while doing their nails, which is both unprofessional and distracting. This raises concerns about professionalism, hygiene, and dedication to the craft. In addition, there were complaints about certain staff members gossiping or rolling their eyes during service, creating a negative and uncomfortable atmosphere for the customers.
The general state of the facilities was also mentioned as a weakness, with one commenter noting that the place requires updating. Another commenter mentioned that Christmas decorations were still up in March, which suggests a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. Proper ventilation was also mentioned as an issue, with a customer feeling faint from the dense chemical fumes in the air.
Furthermore, there were instances of poor quality work, such as a terrible paint job on a customer's sister's toenails. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and skill when it comes to the execution of the services. Some commenters also mentioned having to wait for their services, which can be inconvenient and suggests a lack of efficient operations.
In conclusion, Bergenline Nails place has a mixed reputation based on the comments provided. While there are positive aspects such as friendly staff, quick service, and reasonable prices, there are also notable weaknesses such as poor communication, inconsistent skill levels, unprofessional behavior, and subpar facilities. These issues may undermine the overall customer experience and require attention and improvement from the establishment.
Best TL Reviews
Went in for a filling and instead of the lady breaking off the bottom of loose acrylic she put glue. After I told her if she can take off the loose acrylic instead; she said “all the nails will fall off” and I’d have to pay extra. I ended up getting FUNGUS. 2 stars because the pedicure lady did a good job.
If I could give it a zero, I would. I have been going for the past year and I have never had a bad experience, except today. I went to get a fill in for my acrylic nails with a lady called Laura. She did not put the same color I chose and did square nails when I asked for coffin. She also cut three of my nails and bled a lot on one of them. I even pulled back my hand because of a burning sensation from the machine she used to do my acrylics. She complained that I was moving a lot and that’s why she cut me accidentally. I never had this experience with any of the other nail techs. Laura was vaping and texting while doing my nails as well. She is very unprofessional and even cut one of my nails crooked. The staff doesn’t know what they are doing. They charge you a lot for work that’s not even done properly. I gave this place a chance but I rather go somewhere where they are more careful and empathetic to when their customers feel pain.
I think a lot of the bad reviews are old because the service was great. I walked in randomly looking to get acrylics removed and a gel manicure. No wait time and quick service. Kim did an amazing job with the gel manicure and she was very friendly. Whole thing was $35 which is very reasonable! Definitely going back for the gel manicures.
Lost in translation: chose pink nail polish, left with clear and nails cut so short they're sensitive, I never have my nails this short.
Left with ugly boy nails, so disappointed.
Pedicure was fine.
Facilities require updating.
It's March and the Christmas decorations & tree are still in the window.
I have been coming for a bit. Sometimes you have to wait a bit, sometimes not so much.
The guy in front is funny and puts on comedy tv which is nice and funny to watch when trying to take a break from a long day.
The young lady that helped me seemed to be new. I felt a bit frustrated at first because of communication issues, but she did a good job.
I’m only giving one star because I have to pick a rating but never go to this place. Do you see how they painted my sisters toenails? The woman was rolling her eyes the entire time looking back at the other person who worked there probably talking about her no reason. Again, why did her toes turn out like this? The paint job is horrible how does this person call herself a professional?
Not the most fancy place, but very warm and welcoming. Feels like my old neighborhood salon back in south texas. Big TV in the front with a funny old man who makes the appointments and does nails nicely from what I observed while waiting. I got a pedicure with the callous removal; massage chairs are strong and the woman really got in there good with the tools under and around my nails (my favorite part!). She was very patient with using the leg holder as it's often something I have trouble with while being sloughed (shaved by the callous remover). After how rude the woman was at Tracey Nails, these people really made my terrible morning from a storm to calm skies. Thank you so much for making my day better and giving me the best customer service in feet/nails I've had in a good year or so, esp since COVID hit. I'll be coming back regularly for sure!
They were nice, however My acrylic nail is a bit lopsided. The place needs to be ventilated cuz I definitely felt like passing out from the dense chemical fumes in the air.
