Quick Facts About Brooktrails Golf Course

Brooktrails Golf Course is a place that offers both disc golf and traditional ball golf, and is located in a beautiful setting under the redwood trees. The comments from visitors provide valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the golf course.
One of the strengths frequently mentioned is the beautiful setting of the course. Visitors describe it as being located in the middle of the redwood forest, making it a very scenic and picturesque place to play golf. The comments highlight the beauty of the views and the serene atmosphere provided by the redwood trees.
Another strength mentioned by visitors is the well-kept condition of the course. Multiple comments mention that the course is in good shape, with well-maintained greens. Visitors appreciate the effort put into keeping the course in good condition, making it enjoyable to play on. The customer service is also highly praised, with one comment stating that the staff deserves 10 stars for their service.
The disc golf course at Brooktrails Golf Course is also highly regarded by visitors. Many comments emphasize that it is a must-play course in the area. Visitors consider it one of the best disc golf courses within a 100-mile radius and believe that it is worth the drive. The course is described as being enjoyable and challenging, with the towering redwoods adding an extra level of difficulty.
However, there are also some weaknesses that visitors have pointed out. One comment mentions that dogs are not allowed on the course due to a previous incident with an unreasonable dog owner. While this rule may be necessary to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players, it could be seen as a disadvantage for those who like to bring their dogs along.
Another weakness mentioned by a visitor is the small size of the course. While this may not be an issue for everyone, some players may prefer a larger course with more holes to play. The comment also suggests that the course is a bit pricey, which could be a deterrent for some potential visitors.
Additionally, one visitor mentions that the tee boxes are made of driving range mats, which may not provide the same feel and experience as natural grass tee boxes. Although the comment states that it works, it could still be seen as a weakness for those who prefer a more traditional golfing experience.
Lastly, one comment describes the course as being more like a sandlot version of golf, suggesting that it may not meet the standards of a traditional golf course. The comment also suggests that retrieving golf balls may be challenging due to the towering redwoods blocking the way.
In conclusion, Brooktrails Golf Course has several strengths that make it a desirable place to play golf. The beautiful setting, well-kept condition of the course, and highly regarded disc golf course are all aspects that visitors appreciate. However, there are also some weaknesses, such as the restriction on dogs, the small size of the course, and the use of driving range mats for tee boxes. These weaknesses may deter some potential visitors, but overall, the positive aspects of Brooktrails Golf Course seem to outweigh the negatives.

Played a nice round of Disc Golf. 18 hole in such a beautiful setting under the redwood trees. Also a 9 hole ball golf course. No Dogs allowed due to a previous incident with an unreasonable dog owner ????
Awesome. As always. No wind was nice. In good shape.
My favorite disc golf course. This is 100% must play if you are in the area. More than worth the small green fees.
Good course, small, little pricey but beautiful views
I challenge you to find a more beautiful disc golf course within 100 miles. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive.
One of the most scenic well kept courses I have played to date. What a Gem in the middle of the redwood forest. Deserves 10stars for customer service and green fees that are very reasonable for an amazing day on the course.
This is an enjoyable little 9 hole golf course (8 par 3's and a short par 4). Leave the driver and woods in the car. The greens were in good shape, though a little long and on the slower side. I was surprised to find all the tee boxes were driving range mats, but it works. A very pleasant walk in the shade of the redwoods!
A great place to visit. Not a golfers ideal spot for year around though. Non golf cart accessible. It is on the other hand a challenging course to play with the towering redwoods in the way. Honestly it's the sandlot version of golf. Good luck. Might need an erector set to get your golf balls back
