I use to go on a Sundays and the manicurist were nice and accommodating. Acrylic nail fill in, mood color and designs on index finger. Well, Tuesdays was the complete opposite and the prices apparent have gone up (however, new prices were not posted). I needed a full set, she said $40 and the price board said $30. Dude was rough with my fingers and that dam file/I would complain and he wouldn’t adjust his
Technique. I was only one of two customers and I told him to slow down with file. I suffered through the process with minimal screams of ouch. Dude had the nerve to tell me to relax-really!! I still wanted something extra, but we had communication issues, so today was ughhh. I left a tip because he was still trying to file my Nails even after they were painted and dried. Well, they got one more chance with me/but I’ll go on the weekend. The place is clean, it’s a quiet area and I like the commute from home.
The nail tech asked me multiple times If I wanted gel I said no each time I explained why I was not willing to pay extra for gel and she said “ ok I will give you gel it’s much better” I said no gel and she got an attitude talking to another tech I’m assuming about me in their language.
So she did my nails with barely any glue they literally last ONE day!!!! Im never going back.
They over charge make up prices and scam customers.
I’ve been coming to Brown Deer Nails since their doors first opened. Initially, the customer service and nail care (pedicure/manicure) was superb. Now that they’ve been in business for awhile, their regard for the customer(s) leaves much to be desired! The turn over with staff is significant. The technicians are rude and most can’t speak English. To get to this location, I pass up 3-4 nail shops. In the past, this wasn’t an issue. After today, I won’t be going to Brown Deer Nails! I’ve had enough of their disrespect, lack of professionalism, and substandard work! I’d advise you to do the same!!!
After one day, my dip nails (that aren’t cheap!!) chipped. I have never had this happen. Even when I do my own dip at home. So disappointed. Plus when getting my nails done, he was really rough and made mistakes so I had to stay there longer. He put lotion on my hands before they were dry and had to redo a whole hand. Also he started to do round shape when I wanted square so one nail is randomly short because he forgot what nail shape I wanted...Then one nail got messed up because he put cuticle oil on it too soon so I had to come back after work to get it fixed. Just too many mistakes that I don’t want to keep coming back for a manicure that is supposed to last me a month no problem. Do not recommend for dip nails at all.
There is a nail tech in there that has a nasty spirit and the worst costmer service ever. I was over charged because he said something to the lady. Plus it smells like urine and bad plumbing in there as well. the lady rushed my nails they where not even dry and all in even it's fine because the universe will take care of them for being nasty for no reason at all.
12/17/21 Their service is terrible and they rush in doing everything. As much money you come out of pocket and they practically force a tip out of you. I won’t be returning
UPDATE: 12/23 all of my nails came off. Smh just wow - they started lifting on Tuesday and they all POPPED off today
Trash ????. They overcharge for mediocre service and basic nail designs! The only good thing about them is the fact that there’s never usually a lot of costumers… and it’s pretty quiet. Patronize at your own risk.
Came in and politely asked if I can have my nails soaked off. The woman came and sat down with me got the bowl out and asked if I wanted to have nails put on afterwards I said no because I broke a couple of them so I wanted to give my nails a break. She's then got an attitude and started trying to pry my nails off instead of soaking them. The experience was painful so I asked if she could just soak them off instead of trying to pry them off. She said no soaking takes a long time I don't have time for that. I said I can wait I have time. She said no I don't have time for you I have appointments coming and waved me out the door.
