Quick and friendly service is an important aspect of a successful dining experience, and the Cajun Shotgun House seems to deliver on this front.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also mentioned as a strength. One customer described it as "a great atmosphere," and another mentioned the cleanliness of the tables and restrooms. A pleasant atmosphere can greatly enhance the overall dining experience and make customers feel comfortable and satisfied.

Another weakness mentioned was the lack of BBQ sauce assistance. One customer mentioned the disappointment of having to squirt their own BBQ sauce. Providing BBQ sauce assistance or making it readily available for customers can help improve their experience.
One customer expressed dissatisfaction with the alligator dish, both in terms of taste and texture, which ended up making their stomach upset. This indicates a potential weakness in the preparation of certain dishes and the need for improvement to ensure consistent quality across the menu.
Another weakness mentioned was a long wait time for food. One customer mentioned waiting almost 30 minutes for their food, which could be a problem for customers with limited lunch breaks. Additionally, the lack of silverware was mentioned as an issue. Both of these factors indicate a potential weakness in the restaurant's efficiency and attention to detail when it comes to customer service.
Overall, the Cajun Shotgun House & BBQ place has several strengths, including delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are also some weaknesses that should be addressed, including inconsistent quality in certain dishes, the need for improved BBQ sauce assistance, potential issues with alligator dish preparation, long wait times, and the lack of silverware availability. By addressing these weaknesses, the restaurant can continue to build on its strengths and provide an even better dining experience for its customers.

Fish was fried crispy and with a great flavor. Fried okra was spot on and the hush puppies were great. So good I had to come back the next day.
Wonderful! Delicious food, service with a smile, in a great atmosphere.
Fried tamales.. try them!
We were seated fast. Friendly service . I ordered smoked brisket plate. The brisket was tender and juicy and was melted in my mouth. Fries were god too. I didn’t like the potato salad. It was kind of tasted stale
Great place to go. Alligator fried and grilled were great. Fried pickles to salty, avoid. But fried shrimps were great, better than the blackened shrimps. My waitress was very friendly and offer suggestions.
After a long day of hard work…my stomach was touching my back! Google assisted me in locating the closest bbq joint! 23 minutes later we arrived at Cajun Shotgun House.
Service was quick and friendly and our order was taken effortlessly! I ordered The rib tip dinner with okra and baked beans with a lemonade. My girl chose the alligator, onion rings and fried okra.
The tables were clean, as well as the restroom so no complaints there.
However, I was disappointed in the fact that I had to squirt my own bbq sauce, but, the ribs were nicely seasoned. The baked beans lacked the savory sweet taste one should be accustomed to when baked beans are being served.
The alligator was the biggest let down of the evening, as the taste and texture of the alligator was off the mark, and later that night, turned her stomach into a swamp!!????????For these reasons, I’m only giving Cajun Shotgun House ⭐️⭐️
It is your typical local spot. It doesn't look like anything special on the outside, and unless someone recommended it you probably wouldn't stop. But it was recommended to us, so a group of us went to it for late lunch. Don't get me wrong it isn't bad, but I wouldn't say it's really good either. A couple orders came out wrong and there were some missteps, but to be fair I never got frustrated with the waitress. She was super friendly and sweet. Any waitress who can make you not care about any issues, is an a+ in my book. The food was fine. I got fried pork chops.the battery was good, but there was a lot of griddle and not a ton of meat. The lunch special came with several sides. Some were really good, some ok, but there was a lot of them to make a generous portion of food. Personally I would have rather had more meat on the pork chops, but that's me.
Again it's not bad, but I won't go back.
Very nice atmosphere and the service is excellent. Every meal I've had was tasty indeed. Its good to have a place to eat like this Cajun Shotgun House
My husband and I went there for lunch on his short lunch break (45 min._1hr. We waited for almost 30 min.for our food and then there was no silverware. I went up to the counter and asked for silverware and was told there is no more silverware and gave me some really flimsy forks wir no spoons.
