Quick Facts About Metro Barber Shop

Metro Barber Shop has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers, indicating both strengths and weaknesses of the place. In order to provide a comprehensive analysis, the strengths and weaknesses will be addressed separately.
Strengths:
1. Good haircuts and skills: Several customers have praised the barbers at Metro Barber Shop for their ability to give clean cuts and their attention to detail. Customers, particularly those with specific styles like razor fades, have found satisfaction with the quality of their haircuts.
2. Affordable prices: Many customers have positively mentioned the pricing at Metro Barber Shop, considering it to be reasonable and competitive. This affordability factor is often an advantage for attracting and retaining customers.
3. Patience and attention: Despite the language barrier with some of the older barbers, customers have appreciated their patience and willingness to understand their desired haircut through the use of photos. This indicates a level of customer care and attention to detail.
Weaknesses:
1. Long waiting times: One of the most common complaints from customers is the long waiting times at Metro Barber Shop. Multiple reviewers have mentioned waiting for hours even with a designated number, while others have mentioned customers being given preferential treatment based on their relationship with the barbers.
2. Preference for Spanish-speaking customers: Some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the preference given to Spanish-speaking customers. They have observed barbers accepting customers who speak Spanish without requiring them to wait or have an appointment, while others are made to wait longer or face language-related barriers.
3. Inconsistent quality of service: Some customers have had negative experiences with the quality of their haircuts. One reviewer mentioned that their boyfriend's curly hair was damaged, while another mentioned inconsistent blending of fades and uneven cuts. These instances highlight a lack of consistency and expertise among the barbers at Metro Barber Shop.
4. Unfriendly staff: Multiple reviewers have commented on the unfriendliness of the staff at Metro Barber Shop, particularly towards customers who are not part of their inner circle or who do not speak Spanish. One customer even mentioned being laughed at and ridiculed by one of the barbers.
In conclusion, Metro Barber Shop has strengths such as good haircuts, affordable prices, and some barbers' patience with customers. However, it also has weaknesses including long waiting times, a preference for Spanish-speaking customers, inconsistent quality of service, and a perceived unfriendliness among some staff members. Addressing these weaknesses could help the barber shop improve customer satisfaction and attract a more diverse clientele.

My husband was with the barber for 2 HOURS!!! I had all of my things done with one of the girls and it only took her about 45 minutes.
Husband was waiting for more than an hour, they put numbers to serve which they do not use they have preferred customers and you just have to wait.
Speak spanish or good luck getting a cut. They generally prefer customers who speak spanish. They will let their regulars and friends cut the line. Will make excuses to get rid of you if they dont feel like servicing you. Went on a tuesday, said they dont know how to cut a flat top and come back on Friday. Lul
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR. my boyfriend recently went here to get his haircut, which he normally used to, this time was completely different. the appointment felt super rushed and the female barber who cut his hair did not know what she was doing at all. she completely damaged his curl pattern with thinning shears and his haircut is super uneven. she barely even managed to blend his fade. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR.
So disappointed. We have been waiting for a haircut, someone came in after we've been here for 20 minutes. Another customer came in afterwards and asked in Spanish if the barber had time to cut his hair. He said yes, the barber didn't know that i spoke Spanish. When I asked about my son the barber told me that the customer had an appointment. I guess skin color still equates to preferential treatment. This is the dude, so be prepared for him to ignore you and accept other customers without saying a word to you at all...
A place where they cut good hair... but the staff their isn’t so friendly if you aren’t “one of their pals” I had gone there 2 times before and service was decent. Up until my third visit is when I decided I would no longer go there... I sat waiting for two hours (with a number) and still hadn’t gone. As I was sitting I overheard one of the barbers/stylist (the young lady there) get a phone call. It was someone making an “appointment” right then and there. The dude came in a few minutes later and just like that got a haircut. Making me wait much longer. At that point the mall closed and I was unable to cut my hair... I was so upset. I write this review weeks later. To not let my anger get the best of me.
I personally won’t go here EVER again..
My son and I come here for his razor fade because they have patience and skills to give clean cuts. Our favorites are the older ladies, even though we have a language barrier. A photo helps share our ideas of a cut. It is busy, but we will wait. It beats finding a new barbershop that has the skills and attention to detail that I want for a cut. The prices are great!
Tried to go a few times and my family is Mexican but we do not speak spanish and was treated like badly we waited over and hour for a haircut and pulled a number but when our number came up was told by one of the barbers he doesn’t cut female hair so we waited longer the men kept coming in and jumping on the chair without numbers and all the said was he had and appointment and then one of the females rolled her eyes at us when we argued then she said speak to the manager laughing and pointing to the manager and stating your the manager and laughing. Luckily my husband speaks Spanish so he was able to understand but we just ended up leaving they didn’t care..
