I had two good cuts here in the past however after my visit this week, I will never be going back. This place has gone downhill massively.
I did not get a Turkish style haircut. The barber can't do a good quality fade that is symmetrical. He cannot use a trimmer and is incompetent with a pair of scissors. This is the worst haircut I have probably ever had. And all for the bargain price of.... £15!!! I would be happy with the price if it was a top top quality barbers, but unfortunately this is far from that.
Please save yourself huge disappointment, and go elsewhere. Many other barbers within 5-10 minute walk.
Brilliant haircut and the owner’s a top bloke. Just moved to Edinburgh and hardest thing about a new city is finding a barbers. Recommended here by a friend and will definitely be going back
I've had two haircuts here now and am very happy with both of them! Michael is great, as is the other young man who works there (I didn't get his name). Quick, friendly service and great cuts at a reasonable price.
I was looking for traditional Turkish barber at short notice, for nice clean cut.
Luckily went in at early morning and was greeted warmly by Michael.
As well as being a nice clean cut, even when I changed half way through, turned out to be really well done.
We constantly chatted through the time I was there.
Excellent service, would happily recommend it and will return in future.

They absolutely DO NOT know what they do.
Don’t get deceived by the inflated 5 stars reviews. They are all misleading and possibly from friends and family members of the barbers themselves. They can’t even do a simple nice fade (check the photos). Besides the shop is filthy filthy.
My hair was spiking out at the back of my head and the barber was totally happy with it. I had to ask him 3 times to fix it till I gave up and realised that I was wasting my time as this was as good as they could ever do.
AVOID please.
The guy was friendly but his barbering skills need improving.
Best barbershop in the area. Barbers are very good at their job and spend as much time as necessary to get your hair right. Very friendly and inexpensive for the service you’re getting. Boris is the man.
Really unfortunate to say this but standards have dropped. Went in yesterday to get turned away from door 2 hours before close because the new barber was too tired. Told me to come back tomorrow. I did, and the place was shut, slap bang in the middle of their opening hours.
Used to go all the time and it was an incredible barbers: friendly, great trim and always a laugh. Mighty shame its changed.
