I love my nails and have been there a few times.
I love this place! They were able to fit me in at the last minute, due to my other nail salon being on vacation. They give everyone VIP treatment. Everyone that works there, does a great job! ????????
Where do I start? I’ll start by saying I recently went here twice in a months time because their Hollywood Nails location is shut down. No one called me to tell me that Hollywood was shut down despite this being the same ownership and I had an appointment with them. They saw me same day after I couldn’t get into Hollywood. Their prices are high and I mentioned the comparison between Hollywood Nails and Celebrity Nails and Judy the owner got all indignant when I wasn’t even talking to her. On my second visit I walked in to my appointment and the owner Dan asked me if I was getting gel manicure. I told him no. He had me down for gel…. I told him there’s no way I would’ve asked for gel because I’ve never gotten gel in my life I get the dip powder he goes on to tell me that I need to say the right thing or there will be no one there to service me I told him to kick rocks I didn’t tell him gel. I paid with my card and checked the posted transaction and they charged me more money than they were supposed to and more than I authorized on the slip that I signed. I disputed it and got my money back but I know they did this on purpose because they are greedy for money. Besides that I usually can go three weeks with the powder here I am after a week looking at all of my chipped nails, the dip powder is chipped. I’m not satisfied with the quality or their practices and I’m never going back. I will gladly spend my money elsewhere.
They do a great job with nails BUT they’re prices are deceptive and the management team is bias. (terrible)
I always say these services are only good until you have an issue. You know what kind of business you’re dealing with based on how receptive they are to feedback.
I’ve been going there for about 1 1/2, brought my husband a few times, bought my daughters, told folks about them so we were pleased with the service until, we had a conflict with the pricing. One session would be one price and another session would be different for the same thing. I get the same shape, length and here and there I’ll add designs (which I know will cost)
The manager was rude while providing her explanation of the costs simply b/c I inquired and expressed how the prices seem to change. I asked to speak with the owner only to make a suggestion. She came over but I could tell by her demeanor that she had taken the side of the manager. She was defensive and unwilling to hear my feedback. I was simply going to suggest that they should have a price list specifying cost for the different shapes and lengths (not hard to implement)
This will help the customer understand their pricing from the start and minimize having techs make up and guess how much a customer owes (because that’s what they do) Many of their customers know this but won’t say anything. Speak up b/c you’re spending your money there.
You should be pleased with your experience/service and the business should be pleased when you’re pleased!
Celebrity Nails - remember that your customers CHOSE to spend their time and money there, at least listen to them. Maybe you’ll learn a thing or two :)

I stopped going to this nailery because the owner (Judy) is very mean. When I had to be serviced by her, she always gave me a hard time about my preferences. I like my nails short, please just give me what I am asking for. Because some of the techs didn't have as great of English, they would ask her to translate and the drama would just continue...
Honestly after Angela left a few years back, things changed and the overall service and smoothness of operations somehow started failing. No one seems to be interested in current trends/techniques.
I do miss Danny bc he always had a smile when I went there and would try his best to make sure people were serviced timely.

It's 3.7 but I'm rounding up. I like going here bc I do believe the quality and customer service is superior to places in my neighborhood. However... Now that it is appt only, one might expect to be in and out quicker. This is not the case, my last 2 visits I wasn't started until 45min after my appt time.
Updated salon and the nails are okay. However, the wife of the owner is completely rude. I called and scheduled an appointment for Saturday, the owner put it down for Friday. I came in on Saturday and the wife said “make sure you come on the right day”. Definitely lost a customer.
Walked in for pedicure and wax. The lady did a nice job but forgot the wax. Overall, I would return if in the area.
So I started coming here about 2 months ago cause it was close to my home and the work seemed acceptable. Ok so today (May 18th) I go for my appointment (by appointment only or preferably)For a overlay and pedicure Gel of course . I was seated like I would be normally and was being serviced. Great ! Moments later a older white woman comes in I was taken out my chair and given a new tech to accommodate her . I am a young AA woman . If not for giving me a less experience tech I wouldn't have made a fuss. She didn't know what she was doing to my standards . I been getting my nails done for over 11 years and I never felt so mistreated. I won't be returning
