Quick Facts About Chamos Barber Shop
Chamos Barber Shop has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided. In order to meet the minimum word count of 500 words, we will analyze each comment in detail, discussing the implications for the strengths and weaknesses of the barber shop.
The first comment mentions an issue with pricing. The customer states that their bill was $35 for a standard haircut, even though their previous visits had cost $25. The customer is frustrated because the owner added an additional $5 to the bill without explanation. This inconsistency in pricing suggests a weakness in the barber shop's transparency and customer service. Customers expect clear and consistent pricing, and any unexpected charges can lead to dissatisfaction. This incident reflects a lack of communication between the owner and the employees, which could be detrimental to the reputation of the barber shop.
The second comment criticizes the skills of the barber. The customer mentions that the barber seemed distracted and did not know how to cut or line up hair properly. Additionally, the customer mentions that the barber was rough with the trimmer, causing their head to become bloodshot red. These issues indicate a lack of expertise and professionalism on the part of the barber. Consistently providing subpar haircuts can result in negative word-of-mouth and loss of customers. This comment highlights a weakness in the skill level and attention to detail of at least one barber in the shop.
The third comment mentions a positive experience with Abraham, a specific barber at Chamos Barber Shop. The customer has been going to the barber shop for 10 years and praises Abraham for consistently providing clean and crisp haircuts. This comment highlights a strength of the barber shop in having skilled and reliable barbers. Building long-term relationships with customers and providing consistent quality service are important strengths for any business, including Chamos Barber Shop.
The fourth comment also praises Abraham for his attentive nature and ability to listen to customer preferences. The customer mentions that even though they struggle to describe their desired haircut, Abraham took the time to understand their needs and deliver the desired style. This comment indicates that Abraham possesses good communication skills and customer-centric approach, which are important strengths for a barber. Personalized attention and the ability to understand and fulfill customer expectations contribute to a positive customer experience.
The fifth comment shares a negative experience with a specific barber at the shop. The customer went to a new barber and had a negative interaction when expressing their lack of trust. The barber responded in an unprofessional manner and suggested the customer go elsewhere. This incident demonstrates a clear weakness in customer service and professionalism within the barber shop. Barbers should be trained to handle customer concerns and conflicts with tact and professionalism, which appears to be lacking in this case.
The sixth comment describes a highly negative experience at Chamos Barber Shop. The customer mentions that their hair was burned and that the staff was racist towards them and their family. These allegations suggest significant weaknesses in the barber shop's training and culture. Any form of racism and negligence towards customer safety is unacceptable and can severely damage the reputation of the business. Such instances should be taken very seriously, and appropriate actions should be taken to address these concerns.
The seventh comment raises concerns about both the quality of the barbers and the pricing. The customer mentions that not all barbers in the shop are detail-oriented or skilled. Additionally, the customer experienced an unexpected additional charge when paying for their haircut. This comment highlights weaknesses in both the skill level of the barbers and the transparency of pricing. Inconsistencies in the quality of service and unexpected charges can lead to dissatisfaction and loss of customers. It is crucial for the barber shop to ensure that all barbers meet a certain skill standard, and that pricing is clear and consistent.
The eighth comment expresses disappointment with the price of a haircut. The customer mentions that the total cost of a plain haircut was $30, not including the tip. This high price point suggests a weakness in the affordability of the barber shop. Higher prices may deter some potential customers, especially if they perceive the quality of service to be inconsistent or not worth the cost. The comment highlights the importance of striking a balance between providing quality service and setting prices that are reasonable and competitive.
In conclusion, based on the comments provided, Chamos Barber Shop has both strengths and weaknesses. The strengths include skilled barbers like Abraham who provide consistent and customer-centric service. Building long-term relationships with customers and delivering desired haircuts contribute to a positive reputation. However, weaknesses include inconsistency in pricing, lack of skill and attention to detail among some barbers, unprofessionalism in customer interactions, and allegations of racism and negligence. These weaknesses can damage the reputation of the barber shop, result in loss of customers, and hinder its growth and success.

BE CAREFUL…I went in for a standard haircut. Standard bill was $35 why? I have been at the place many times my bill was $25 Not sure then I went to pay for it and the lady up front added another $5 because the owner told her to do so. Then tax and I guess tip. My bill ended up $47 dollars. This place is ridiculous. They just lost a customer
The barber that cut my hair seemed very distracted. He doesn’t know how to cut hair or line up hair. Around my ear he pushed back the hair to an unreasonable amount so that it looks absolutely horrendous. The barber was also very rough with the trimmer and he left my entire head bloodshot red. I am never coming back here and I would never recommend anyone to come here.
Been going here for 10 years. Just about since I've moved to Florida. Abraham always makes sure my son and I leave looking fresh. With the moment clean and most crisp haircuts.
I have had the pleasure of Abraham cutting my hair twice.
Let me simply say that this man is attentive and listens to his customers. Even if you are like me, and don't always know how to describe what you want, he took the time to listen and work with me to nail down the style I was going for.
Get to know your barber. Tip well. It's worth it. This guy is a gem.
My barber was out of town and i had to get a haircut for a upcoming event. So i was forced to go to a new barber. I was nervous and anxious. I went to the guy on the far back right corner of the barbershop & i asked him if he’s experienced & he responded “ you don’t trust me?” In my head I’m thinking, I don’t even know this guys name and he’s asking me if i trust him. So I responded that I trust no one and than he said “ok, go somewhere else than”. What kind of professionalism is that? Such horrible way to treat a customer. I would STAY AWAY from this place.
they burned all my hair, the staff was very racist towards me and my family
I've been visiting this barbershop for about 2 years now, the interior has a great haircut atmosphere, truthfully not all working here are detail oriented, or let's say good barbers, then on top of that the prices are ridiculous, the actual tip is forced into your payment plus you leave a tip without knowing this, last time I visited I witnessed as a customer was about to pay and was complaining because his cut was $38 and the guy taking payment is telling him it was $43 saying the system charges automatically, well they will never see that customer going back, after asking and doing a little p.i. breaks down to the owner, wich apparently knows about the excessive prices but just don't care, America is just starting to economically come back, I cant imagine how much a cut will cost here by next year.....I miss my $7 cuts back in the late 80's....and that was expensive.....good luck just my sincere opinion.
My regular wasnt there. I haven't been there in a while went to a new barber. Ridiculously expensive now and price list of the wall, plain haircut total was $30 not including tip. I cant imagine the total if I wanted a shave and few other things. Lost me as a customer.
