Quick Facts About Cindys VIP Nail spa
Cindy's VIP Nail Spa place has received both positive and negative comments from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, we will analyze the comments provided.
The first comment highlights the strengths of the spa, stating that the staff was friendly and courteous. This is an important aspect of any service-oriented business as it contributes to a positive customer experience. Additionally, the comment mentions that the equipment was cleaned, indicating that the spa prioritizes hygiene.
However, the same comment also brings up a weakness of the spa, which is the durability of the manicure. The customer paid $65 for a manicure that only lasted one week, which they found disappointing. This raises concerns about the quality of the products and techniques used by the spa.
The second comment expresses dissatisfaction with the spa's services, stating that three nails broke within a week and the customer was expected to pay $10 for each nail to fix them. This indicates a lack of customer satisfaction, as the spa was not willing to take responsibility for the nail breakage. The comment also mentions the high cost of $150 spent for seemingly poor-quality service, which adds to the customer's dissatisfaction.
Another comment describes a severe incident where a customer received a second-degree burn on their foot during a pedicure. The comment suggests that the staff and owner did not handle the situation professionally or with concern for the customer's well-being. This incident raises concerns about the staff's training and the lack of proper safety measures.
Contrastingly, the next comment highlights the spa's strengths, mentioning that they are super clean, give great massages, and stick to appointments. These are positive attributes that contribute to a satisfying spa experience. The comment also mentions a variety of nail colors to choose from, which indicates a wide selection for customers.
However, the same comment also brings up several weaknesses of the spa. The staff is described as being trained to upcharge and upsell customers, which disrupts the relaxing atmosphere and can be annoying for customers. The prices are considered expensive for the service provided, and the prices listed on the price list are inaccurate. These discrepancies can create confusion and lead to customer dissatisfaction. The comment also mentions that the older staff members may provide inconsistent nail polish application, which can affect the overall quality of the service.
Another comment describes an experience where the customer felt overcharged and rushed out of the spa. The customer expected to have a spa treatment to help with their neuropathy but did not receive the desired service. This indicates poor communication and customer service. The comment also mentions that the spa did not display their prices, which can create an unprofessional and untrustworthy impression.
The negative comment that follows describes a rude and condescending experience, with the spa increasing the price after initially providing a different quote. This raises concerns about pricing transparency and customer communication. The comment also mentions that the nails did not last more than a week, indicating a lack of durability in the manicure.
Finally, a positive comment highlights the free massage that comes with the manicure and pedicure. This is a strength of the spa as it is a value-added service that customers appreciate.
In summary, the strengths of Cindy's VIP Nail Spa place include friendly and courteous staff, cleanliness, great massages, and sticking to appointments. However, the weaknesses include issues with durability of manicures, poor customer service, pricing discrepancies, lack of pricing transparency, inconsistent nail polish application, and safety concerns. These factors should be taken into consideration when evaluating the overall strengths and weaknesses of the spa.

First off, I would like to say the staff was friendly and courteous. My husband and I came last week to have our “self care” day at this location (which is new to us). Everything was great. They cleaned the equipment and was very kind. The only issue that I have is that I paid $65 for a manicure that lasted exactly one week. That is what disappoints me.
This place was absolutely terrible. Three of my nails broke in less than a week. I asked to fix it and they said it was my problem and I should be charged 10$ for each nail. (I literally scratched my leg and a nail broke) Then the lady had the nerve to say not to scratch myself like that. So $150 spent for nothing! Highly do not recommend!
Got a 2nd degree burn on the top layer of my foot by the woman doing my pedicure. Was treated with SUCH disregard while it was happening and then after it happened. The owner did not care and even tried to say I had the burn on my foot prior to my pedicure! Unprofessional staff, rude owners, and they do not treat you with respect in the slightest. I would avoid this place altogether.
Ive been going to Cindy's VIP Nails for about five years off and on because of several reasons. First the good they are super clean , give great massages (pedicure and at the end when drying your nails), they stick to appointments so u will be in and out and tons of colors to choose from. The spa pedicure although pricey is worth it if your looking for a deep foot massage and need an extra treat. I only get my pedicure done there because I find the manicures to be overpriced and I am not a fan of the products they use. Now the bad the women there are trained to upcharge/upsell so you cant get anything done without them trying to sell you something additional ( gel, callous remover, spa pedi and so on) its annoying and disrupts the soothing zone. The prices are expensive for the service provided and the prices stated on the price list are estimates. Ask how much it will cost up front and let them know you dont want anything addtional. They have a TV on which is great for customers but the employees sometimes zone out and watch it while working. The women that work there are a little older so the nailpolish application is a little inconsistent. Paul (manager) does an amazing pedicure but he is a trained masseuse so he rarely does them but his massages are everything. The pictures is of a mani Sophia did on March 20th ( i was giving them a go again but what a fail), i took a picture right after to show that my nails still have the previous red nailpolish I wore on the edges of them like realllllyyyy
While I was visiting my daughter here in New Jersey!
I delay on getting my pedicure done. Wanted to have a spa day with my daughter..
When to this place to just have a pedicure.. I was over charged without even getting a foot massage! I suffered from neuropathy and the spa treatment help with my condition. I was rush out very quickly and over charged. When I could have both pedicure and nails done at less than 70 dollars for both.
Sorry!.. your service is NOT GOOD or your prices!
Oh!.. Beware Prices are supposed to be POSTED!.
They don’t have and will be reported to the Department of Beauty!.. I know about the Beauty industry..????
Extremely rude and condescending. Upping the price after telling me a different price at the start of the service. They overcharge for nails that don’t last more than a week.
The nails were nice but they cut me a few times. However, that was not my issue with this place. My main issue was that their price list is wrong and their customer service is horrible. I requested a full face wax listed as $15 (less than expected) and chin wax $11. When I get into the waxing room, the lady asks me again what I would like I repeated full face and chin. I have had this service many times in many places since the age of fifteen usually full face is anywhere from $20-$50 depending on the place. So I found it odd that here it was less, however thats what was on their price list. When the waxing starts, the person starts asking so do you want your lip waxed, eyebrows, etc... Again I say, yes full face. Service is over, time to pay, services listed as follows: gel mani $35, gel pedi $45, face wax $15, chin wax $11, lip wax $8, eyebrows wax $10, sideburns $9... I asked why were parts of my face being listed separately from the full face wax, the gentleman at the counter stated that those parts were not included in the full face wax. I asked what was included and he said the cheeks only which I didn't even have done! But yet there it was on my receipt. I tried to explain my concerns and was told that I had to pay and thats what it was, raised his voice and all. He ended up removing the "face wax" from the tally since I didn't get my cheeks waxed but told me in a rude way that if I can't pay I shouldn't get services? Just all in all, a very unpleasant experience.
I absolutely loved the free massage that came with the mani and pedi!!!
