3. Delightful experience: Customers appreciate the overall experience at the shop, from the friendly environment to the amusing conversations. They enjoy visiting the shop and look forward to their appointments.
4. Specialization in flat tops: The shop is commended for having a barber, Brandon, who specializes in flat tops. This expertise sets them apart in an era where flat tops are harder to find, attracting customers seeking this specific hairstyle.
5. Friendly environment: Customers feel welcomed and comfortable in the shop. The barbers are described as warm and friendly, creating a positive atmosphere for customers to enjoy.
6. Reasonable price: City Barber Shop offers haircuts at a reasonable price of $15. This affordable option attracts customers who appreciate the quality of service at a fair cost.
7. Walk-in availability: The shop operates on a walk-in basis, allowing customers to visit without making prior appointments. This flexibility is convenient for customers who may need a haircut on short notice or have unpredictable schedules.
8. Unique decor: The shop has benches made from old truck tailgates, adding a unique and visually appealing element to the space. Customers appreciate the creativity and charm of the decor.
Weaknesses: 1. Small size: Some customers note that City Barber Shop is smaller than typical stores, which may result in limited seating availability during peak times. The cramped space can be a potential inconvenience for customers who prefer more spacious barber shops.
2. Cash-only policy: The shop only accepts cash payments, which can be inconvenient for customers who prefer to pay with card or digital payment methods. It may require customers to carry cash specifically for their visits.
3. No appointments: While walk-in availability can be convenient, some customers might prefer the option to make appointments in order to plan their visits more effectively. The lack of appointment scheduling may result in longer wait times, especially during busy periods.
4. Limited availability of specific barbers: Although overall, the barbers at City Barber Shop are well-regarded, some customers may have a preference for specific barbers. If their desired barber is not available during their visit, it might lead to disappointment or the need to reschedule.
5. Potential seating constraints: Due to the limited space and popularity of the shop, it is possible that customers may have to wait for a seat, potentially even sitting on the floor. This could impact the overall customer experience and may lead to longer wait times.
Despite these weaknesses, the strengths of City Barber Shop, such as the excellent barbers, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices, outweigh the drawbacks for many customers. The overall positive experience and sense of community are major factors that contribute to the shop's popularity and success.

This is a great little local barber shop.
Excellent barbers and always lively conversations. I look forward to my visits
Always a great cut! I enjoy the atmosphere, friendly conversation, and overall delightful experience! My go to when I need a superior cut!
first time here as new to the area. It is hard to find anyone to do a flat top anymore but Brandon did a fabulous one.
Go get yourself the perfect haircut from City Barber shop. I told Jerry what I wanted and he made it happen. Friendly environment really cool benches made from old truck tailgates wish I had taken a picture. It is a cash only business and a haircut is $15. They don't take appointments just walk ins and look for the clipboard in between the two benches put your name on it.
Although it is on the small side of the typical stores, it has 3 barber chairs and an absolute pleasure to be in. The owner and barber's are on a first name basis with their customers, it has an "old time" feeling from the moment you enter, you will get a great haircut at a reasonable price, they are easy going and very patient with kids of all ages, you will feel as though you are one of the family here, seating may be a bit tight at times - but not only is it worth the wait - you can carry on a conservation with the other people there while waiting on just about any subject (clean language please). On a busy day you will probably see someone who you haven't seen in a long time and catch up on what has been going on, and people from many other county's may show up at anytime, Don't be in a hurry or anything because they do you right and they aren't satisfied until you are... The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is because you may have to sit on the floor for a while... haha... But it is worth the wait and money... You won't find another barber shop like this anymore. It's a lost art and you will feel as though you have stepped back in time. Definitely worth the wait. The only reason I give up so much detail is that I wouldn't have it any other way and would hate to have to make an appointment...
Sincerely, Capt. William Jackson Lee, EMTP ret.
My step son and I come regularly to get our haircut from John and Brandon and we're never disappointed. Both barbers have a great sense of humor, are personable but, at the same time, take their job seriously and deliver an impressive haircut (so says my wife whose opinion on these matters typically carries more weight than mine would ...hahaha) !
Great place they were warm and friendly and I had a great cut.
Best hometown barber there is makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in and keeps you laughing the whole time I've been getting my hair cut here since I was a kid and wouldn't want anyone but the guys at city barber shop to cut my hair
