Quick Facts About City Nails & Spa
City Nails & Spa has a mix of positive and negative comments from customers, which provides insights into both their strengths and weaknesses as a nail salon. Let's analyze these comments in order to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
Starting with the strengths, one recurring theme in the comments is the appreciation for the quality of the nail services provided. Multiple customers mention that their nails always look good after getting them done at City Nails & Spa. This suggests that the salon has skilled and talented nail technicians who can deliver satisfactory results. One specific nail technician, Ben, is even praised for doing an amazing job by a customer. This indicates that there are competent individuals working at the salon.
Another strength of City Nails & Spa is the friendly and patient staff. Several customers mention that the employees are nice, helpful, and patient. One customer expresses gratitude towards Daniel for being patient and gentle. This positive customer service experience can help make customers feel comfortable and valued during their visit to the salon.
The next strength is the efficiency of the service. One customer notes that, despite the salon being full, they didn't have to wait for a long time to be seated. This indicates that City Nails & Spa manages their appointments well and tries to minimize customer waiting times.
Moving on to the weaknesses, there are multiple complaints about the poor quality of nail services. One customer mentions that their nails looked mediocre, with polish everywhere and tips not properly touching the actual nail. Another customer describes their nails as lumpy and poorly done, with acrylic on their skin and cuticles. These comments indicate that there might be inconsistencies in the quality of nail services provided by different technicians at City Nails & Spa.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the dissatisfaction with nail shape and the negative reaction from a nail technician when a customer requested a fix. This suggests that the salon may lack attention to detail and may not prioritize customer satisfaction. The fact that a customer felt uncomfortable expressing their dissatisfaction implies that the customer service experience could have been improved.
Furthermore, there are comments about the high prices charged by City Nails & Spa. One customer mentions that they paid $52 for a set of nails, which they considered to be of poor quality compared to a place where they can get better quality for $40. This suggests that the salon may not provide good value for money, especially considering that other places offer superior quality at a lower price point.
Lastly, there are complaints about the durability of the nail services. Many customers mention that their manicures or SNS treatments started chipping or cracking shortly after getting them done. This indicates that the salon may not use high-quality products or may need to improve their application techniques to ensure longer-lasting results.
Overall, based on the customer comments provided, City Nails & Spa has several strengths such as skilled technicians, a friendly staff, and efficient service. However, they also have weaknesses that include inconsistent quality, a lack of attention to detail, high prices for the quality offered, and issues with the durability of their nail services. Addressing these weaknesses would be crucial for City Nails & Spa to provide a better overall experience for their customers.

Revising my post from Sunday since they were able to redo my nails. Much better experience second time going, but I still feel like it shouldn’t have been a second time. Thank you City Nails for correcting it though and thank you to Daniel for being patient and gentle on my hands.
I have used this location several
times! My nails always look good! Ben did my nails today & he did an amazing job! Everyone is always very nice, patient & helpful! I truly appreciate them!
I just got my nails done I got a pedicure which I had no problem with and looks great. But I got a simple set, short almond with basic color. The nails are mediocre, polish was everywhere, the tips didn’t even touch my actual nail and are bending upwards, it was already cracking when she put the acrylic on, my actual nail is showing everywhere, the acrylic is on my skin and on top of my cuticle and they are lumpy. This would be honestly ok for me if it was like $30. But the nails themselves were $52. I have another place that I go to, to get the same thing for around $40 that’s so much better quality than this. With the pedicure and the nails with the gel it all came down to $96. I asked them if I could get a discount or get them redone. They told me all they could do was redo the polish.
I don’t know if I’ve ever been more dissatisfied with my nails. I keep my nails almond shape, I requested that they say the same shape but I needed them shorter because they were too long. Every nail is a different shape and they are so oddly shaped. At one point I asked the nail technician to fix something and she acted like it irritated her that I said something and then rushed through to finish. At that point I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything more about my dissatisfaction so I just let her finish them and I paid and left. I will definitely not be going back and will not recommend this salon.
Came back thinking I would get better service & nail tech. Boi, was I fooled again. I notice they don't greet. They dont make you feel happy coming giving them business. Olivia was xtremely rude, guess she's Not a morning person however I couldn't comprehend why she was so unfriendly & aggressive. Look at the work that was performed for $67. I could have done my own. I was so disgusted I didn't want them servicing me again. I will NEVER come back here. Take your $$ to a friendly establishment
I got an SNS manicure. She did like a gel top coat on top of the SNS and it started chipping off the next day. But I was leaving for vacation the next day. 9 of my nails have chips- after sitting on a cruise ship doing nothing for 4 days- no hard labor, no dishwashing, no laundry. I also should and that I didn’t partake in any pools on the vacation either. So no reason for chips. And I paid $20 more than I would have paid at my regular place (I went here due to the location and timing before my vacation).
Each time I’ve been there, I’ve had issues with my pedicures. I need a last minute pedicure before an event so I went tonight. A lady, Pink, did my toes. I asked her to redo my big toe because it was too much polish and it was spilling over. She redid it and once I got home I see that the nail polish is “cracking”. I stopped going there for a reason. Definitely will not be back.
The service was amazing. The place was full but we didn’t wait much. We were sat quick. It was the best pedicure I've had. Showed them a picture of what I wanted they told me what they could do and just Love how my acrylic nails turned out. Definitely coming back.
