Quick Facts About Coffee Cup Cafe
Coffee Cup Cafe is a locally-owned restaurant that has been serving the community for many years. One of the strengths of this cafe, as mentioned in the comments, is the exceptional service provided by the waitstaff. Customers appreciate the kindness and efficiency of the employees, and this contributes to a positive dining experience. Additionally, the cafe is known for its delicious homemade nut rolls, which receive high praise from customers.
Another strength of Coffee Cup Cafe is the fact that most of their food is made from scratch. This shows a commitment to quality and freshness. However, it is important to note that making food from scratch takes time, so customers who are looking for a fast meal may need to go elsewhere. This emphasis on homemade cooking sets Coffee Cup Cafe apart from chain restaurants like McDonald's, where food is typically prepackaged and assembly-line style.
The cafe is also appreciated by locals for being a place of comfort and familiarity. It is described as a home away from home, where people can find solace in a comforting meal. The cafe has been a staple in the community for many years, and locals have been coming here for generations. This sense of nostalgia and community adds to the appeal of Coffee Cup Cafe.
Additionally, the cafe is highly regarded for its breakfast options. It is known as the number one breakfast spot in the valley, and customers specifically mention the large, delicious pancakes and omelettes. The quality of the food, particularly the breakfast dishes, contributes to the cafe's positive reputation.
The cleanliness of the cafe's kitchen is another strength that is mentioned in the comments. Customers appreciate the attention to cleanliness and hygiene, which is an important factor when dining out. It shows that the owners prioritize the health and well-being of their customers.
On the other hand, there are a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One customer mentions that their Rueben sandwich and homemade fries were too small for the price they paid. This suggests that the portions may not always be generous, and the prices may be considered high for the quantity of food provided. Another customer mentions that their meal was not up to par, with the food being bland and the toast almost burnt. This suggests that there may be inconsistency in the quality of the food and attention to detail in preparation.
Furthermore, there is a comment mentioning that one of the waitstaff did not check in on their table throughout their meal, which indicates a lack of attentiveness to customer needs. This could be seen as a weakness in the service aspect of the cafe.
Overall, Coffee Cup Cafe has several strengths, including its exceptional service, homemade cooking, nostalgic atmosphere, and delicious breakfast options. However, there are some weaknesses to be aware of, such as portion sizes, food consistency, and attentiveness of the waitstaff. These strengths and weaknesses should be taken into account when considering a visit to Coffee Cup Cafe.

This rating is five stars based solely upon the nut roll I called in ordered to go. They had one left and the waitress very kindly boxed it up and put it aside for me while I frantically drove to pick it up!
Now that's great service. And the rolls are the best in the state, hands down. Do recommend :)

This place is HOME. When I need comfort food this is where I come. Food is made from scratch, and I think people forget that sometimes. The cooks can only go so fast when making stuff from scratch, so if you want FAST then go a couple blocks down to McDonald’s.
Please stop being rude to waitstaff, and employees because you are impatient. I have been witnessing more and more of this in the last year. This place has been serving LOCALS since long before I was born. I am tired of seeing our small businesses in this town being treated poorly by people who are from out of state. I have been coming here my ENTIRE life and I have never had a bad meal.
Please be considerate when coming here, and treat other how you want to be treated.
The Coffee Cup is the #1 breakfast in the valley, and everyone knows it. The pies are my favorite late night snack, and the soups are always delicious.
If I could leave no stars I absolutely would. This place has gone straight done the pipes....
Super small servings for the outrageous price. I had a rueban with homemade fries. Sandwich was way to small, fries were almost burnt and soggy. Waitress was running around and passed my table 18 times and never stopped to ask if we needed anything or is we were doing ok. When she finally came up with the ticket she asked if we needed anything else. Never inquired about our food, asked if we needed rink refills are dessert. For 2 pancakes, a reuben with french fries, 2 sodas was $29.00. Will not stop here again.
Great restaurant. Arrived in cold and tried off the bike on a wet day. Waitress recommended Cherry pie... she wasn't wrong. Yummy..
Thanks from your Irish friends
I have been working in the restaurant industry most of my life. The kitchen in this restaurant is one of the cleanest kitchens I have ever seen in all the years but I've worked in restaurants. Furthermore pretty much everything at this restaurant is made from scratch it is the only restaurant in the valley that serves completely homemade pies crust and all. And the owners are just awesome people they take really good care of their employees.
It's not a bad place, I could of made a better rueben and the right way. My mom's taco salad had a pepper that wasn't even cut up for her. Had to work on cutting that before she could enjoy her meal. Could be better, not sure they care. At least the waitress we got was nice and did a good job.
Stopped in for breakfast. Hubby’s pancakes were giant sized, one a little on the dark side. My omelette was okay but kinda bland. Toast was too dark, almost burnt. Iced tea was not very strong. Coffee good. Pastries looked good but didn’t buy any. Waitress was friendly and efficient.
Amazing my kind of place! Owner been here since 1986 and works here every day. Food excelent, servuce excellent, pies excellent. Prices are fair... if they are high its cause im too old:-) been here 3 times this week and plan on another 4 times over next 4 days.
