This indicates that the durability of the nail services provided may be a weakness for the salon.

Best TL Reviews

I’ve been to a number of nail salons in the Schwenksville/Collegeville/Royersford area and Collegeville Nails is the best. I see Anna but all of the nail techs there are great. They wear nametags and have business cards which I know doesn’t seem like some huge thing but they want you to know who you are working with and build relationships with their clients. I text Anna directly and we work out a good time for my appointment. Also, I don’t know what nail-dip voodoo she does but my nails last 4 weeks minimum every time! I get a metallic finish ($15) on my full set of dip nails ($45). In natural light they shine, in sunlight they are iridescent. They don’t lift or get caught in my hair after a few weeks growth either. I prefer a short almond nail shape and she perfects it every time! My gel pedi lasts even longer. I can recommend this place and my nail tech Anna, wholeheartedly!
I’m so glad that this place was recommended to me. I had been searching for a reputable nail salon in the area for months and I never thought I would find the perfect one in Collegeville. Originally I was waiting to see Susan but Anna took care of me and she did an outstanding job on my coffin nails. I showed her a photo and she executed exactly what I wanted. She really took her time with the acrylic application and shaping process. Once my nails were done, she massaged my hands with lotion and wrapped them in a hot, which felt amazing. I did wait about an hour before I was seated so I recommend making an appointment. The polish wall is really expansive so you’re likely to find the right color. I hope this team opens a second location in Philly because the city could use more caring salons like Collegeville Nails.
I really wanted to like this place because I’ve heard such good things. I was a walk-in (fully prepared to wait) after 45 mins of sitting I was brought to the back where I sat for another 15 mins. That’s not even why I am writing this review.
The whole dip process from start to finish took the girl 15-20 minutes to complete my nails- I appreciated her efficiency.. but my nails looked like hell and 3 nails have cracked and it’s been 4 days.
It took me almost an hour of waiting to just have my nails sloppily done in less than half of the time I waited.
I’m not one to write bad reviews or reviews in general but I was extremely disappointed with how my nails turned out especially because I decided to splurge on the dip instead of regular polish
I was wanting to try some of the other nail shops in the area and this was recommended as the top choice specifying Traci and Jeni as the techs to request. I wanted to see if it was realistic to get a good acrylic nail refill in under 2 hours and this place showed that it was possible to get a refill in under 1 hour. My appointment was at 230 and by 231 I was getting a call asking if I was keeping my appointment so they are big on punctuality or have a lot of people whoaks appointments and cancel. Upon entering I was greeted immediately, very friendly. It's a salon without the bells and whistles. When I walked in I wasn't a fan of the setup in the shop placing customers close together in a row, it appears to be a small shop. My refill wasn't anything special, a bit rushed, but not in a rude way. I wanted a simple hand drawn design (a branch with leaves) but my tech mentioned that wasn't her strength (upon leaving I discovered the tech next to her is great with nail designs so it was a bummer there wasn't team work in that she would offer to do the design). The shop accepts Venmo which is fantastic and easy. And when I left I was pleased...I will say this salon wasn't warm and spa like but if looking for a place to go get quick basic nail services on lunch break, friendly staff and not have to stop at the ATM this is the place. I will definitely return when I need quick lunch break nail refills. I am a bit disappointed writing this post 3 days later and my polish is chipping at the tips but with everything there is give and take.
They do a really nice job but they were super busy! I had an appointment for 5:00 and they put me in a chair around 5:15. I left at 6:25 which was impressive for a French pedicure and French gel manicure. I had been hoping for a design but ran out of time and the stylist wasn’t confident that she could do what I wanted anyway. My nails and toes do look good though!
Okay so I first want to say that this woman was very nice (don’t remember her name and probably wouldn’t put it anyway) and I do not mean any of this against her. This was a while ago, maybe in February or March. I had just moved to Mont Clare and was searching (desperately) for a new nail salon. I called and asked if they did acrylic powder there and they said yes.. I asked them again in a different way because the last salon I went to thought I was talking about dip powder. The woman on the phone assured me that they had what I was talking about. So I got there and while I had never seen someone dip acrylic powder (about 10x overtop of a tip) I thought well this lady knows what she’s doing..? Right?
Forever goes by and by that point I’m half falling asleep. I didn’t even realize that she was putting the same color in gel polish overtop of the acrylic powder that I chose. Don’t ask me how lol also, she was applying flat back crystals but making little indents for them with the Dremel before gluing them in? It took soo long to dip the powder over and over. Then took forever AGAIN for the drilling of the “holes” when even I could tell you that was not necessary at alllllll. I couldn’t wait to Get out of there! My nails were decent looking for a shop, I will say that. However immediately when I touched the door to open it,I noticed they were SO thin. I had work in an hour though so I did not have time to have her redo them. That night I broke all of my nails off except 3. This one was the absolute worst of them all.. underneath the break the nail itself broke too ???? there was a bit of glue that stuck to my actual skin on the top piece too so it hurt soo bad every time I accidentally tapped it.
Went to Collegeville Nails with my two kids. Both recieved manicures with A gel polish and little hand painted designs. I received a full set of acrylics. Gel nail polish that changes color as one's mood changes and little hand painted designs. Both of my children's polish completely came off within 3 days and the one thing that really upset me most of all is my acrylics complete fell off all my nails with in 6 days. I basically just dumped 135 dollars for the three of us on carelessness. The store yes was busy and there for we were rushed. Took only 40 minutes for my nails to be finished. Went to a different nail salon today and it took almost 2 hours to complete correctly.. Spent 55 dollars to have a new set put on, gel polish and a design painted on one nail each hand. I feel like Collegeville nails only cares about how many customers they can take care of in the least amount of time not the quality of their work or customers.
Sorry I have to give this place a thumbs down. I am a little shocked just how little effort and care is given to the customers.
Love this place, if you don't have an appointment with chairs 8/9 then chairs 3/4(Tracy) are great too for techs I have had!
