Quick Facts About Couture Nails & Spa
Couture Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided by customers.
One of the strengths of the salon is the diverse and welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the fact that the nail technicians are a mixed crowd with colored hair and personality, making them feel comfortable and accepted. The technicians are also described as friendly and approachable, willing to engage in conversation and provide suggestions. This creates a pleasant and inclusive environment for customers.
Another strength mentioned is the quality of the nail services provided. Multiple customers praise the salon for their ability to deliver long-lasting nails that are straight and precisely designed. This indicates a level of skill and attention to detail among the nail technicians.
Additionally, some customers highlight specific nail technicians, such as Jasmine, as being exceptional and providing amazing service. This suggests that there are talented and skilled technicians on staff who consistently deliver satisfactory results.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses pointed out by customers. One common complaint is the poor customer service and attitude displayed by some members of the staff. Customers mention encounters with rude and disrespectful behavior, particularly from the owner and her daughter. This type of behavior creates a negative experience for customers and reflects poorly on the salon as a whole.
Another weakness mentioned is the inconsistency in service quality. While some customers have positive experiences, others recount instances of subpar service. This includes instances of nails being filed down too much, cuts sustained during the manicure process, and incomplete or unfinished nail jobs. Inconsistent service leaves customers dissatisfied and questioning the salon's professionalism and competence.
There are also complaints about pricing issues and misunderstandings. Some customers express frustration with being charged for services they did not request or being overcharged. This indicates a lack of clarity and communication when it comes to pricing and the specific services provided.
Additionally, some customers mention dissatisfaction with the salon's response to complaints. In some cases, when issues were brought up, the staff did not address them adequately or dismissively denied responsibility. This lack of accountability further compounds the customers' negative experiences.
Finally, a few customers express concerns about possible prejudice or racism from the salon staff towards black customers. While this is subjective and may not reflect the experiences of all customers, it raises a significant issue of discrimination that the salon needs to address if true.
In conclusion, Couture Nails & Spa has both strengths and weaknesses. The pleasant and inclusive atmosphere, skilled technicians, and quality results are definite strengths for the salon. However, the inconsistent service quality, poor customer service, pricing issues, and possible discrimination are significant weaknesses that need to be addressed for the salon to improve its overall reputation and customer satisfaction.

Love this nail salon! I've been coming here consistently since September, and each time my experience has been pleasant. They work well as a team. It's not the traditional nail salon techs you're used to seeing at most salons. They are a mixed crowd, with colored hair, and personality! You don't feel like an outcast in this salon. They talk to you if you talk to them, give great suggestions, and will get your nails and toes done right! If you're looking give them a try. It's a busy salon. Appointments are best, but if you can't make one go during the week or go early, and sign in as soon as you get there.
My nail tech Jasmine is absolutely amazing but this review is not of her it is of the business. I asked for a specific service, a young man who clearly DID NOT know what he was doing essentially filed my natural nail down to a nub (I get an overlay) then I was told that they did not have time for a full set which I never asked for. I asked for a manager and another young lady comes over very rudely and asks if I want my nail out back on and my response to her nasty attitude was yes ma’am, I never asked for my nail to be filed off. My pedicure was partially done and when I pointed it out I got $5 off again with an attitude. Customer service is trash and they hide behind they’re language. Jasmine is amazing, catch her outside the shop!!!
I love coming here for my nails, they always last a long time, nails are always straight and never crooked, and they always do the designs exactly how i want!
Absolute worst nail salon experience ever.
I’m not one to normally do reviews at all but I had to speak about my horrible experience at the Couture Nail Salon & Spa.
I’m not a confrontational person so I think this was a test for me to stand up for myself.
The first time I went it was nice (a pregnant lady did my nails).
The second time I went it was bad (the owner did my nails the second time).
That last time I went it was horrible. (The owner’s daughter did my nails the last time)
The second time I got my nails done here the owner did my nails. She cut me SO many times the times the last time so I was paranoid about getting cut this time especially since the cuts lasted for at least a week and were very painful. Also, she shaved my cuticle (or the part where my nail starts) down FAR too low to the point where it was painful to even wear the nails. You can see the indention on my nails from when she did my fill in on the picture.
Now this last time I got my nails done was by the 23 year old daughter of the owner. She started doing nails and we got off to a good start with decent conversation. She kept getting very close to my skin while she was shaving down the side of my nail so I kept flinching (naturally) when she would get too close to my skin. She kept saying “relax” and tapping my finger which was annoying but I dealt with it. She then actually cut my finger and i told her nicely and quietly that she had done so and then she frustratedly poured ALCOHOL on it. I think she was trying to make it sting worse. I did continue to flinch as she continued doing my nails. After so many times of me flinching she abruptly backed up and shouted something equal to “I can’t do your nails” and ”I can’t finish her nails.” This was slightly embarrassing for me because her reaction was loud and in front of the entire store.
She then told her mom, the owner, what was happening and things just got much worse. Her mom started yelling and arguing with me in front of everyone. It seemed like they were trying to get me out of my element. I told her that her daughter cut me and both of them immediately said that that was not true and that she did not cut me. And then I mentioned about how the mom cut me a lot the last time I was there and then she asked if the experience last time was so bad then why did I come back? She asked is very rudely and without of compassion. The reason why I came back was because I wanted to give the nail salon one more chance before I was completely done with it.
I did end up paying for my nails in the end. It was not even worth the money I paid. One of the other workers ended up finishing my nails but she didn’t do her best since they were closing at this point and she seemed ready to go. I kinda feel like I should have just walked out, but I really did not want to leave with my nails not finished because I wouldn’t know where to go to get them finished since I don’t get may nails done often at all.
My nails came out looking unfinished with many bumps and lumps and bubbles. They look okay from afar
This last time going was a horrible experience. This nail shop is run by Vietnamese (Asian) people and I believe that they are prejudice or racist against black people because the service was so poor and negative. They were very mean and argumentative. I just wanted to have a nice girls day with my sister, but they made it into a horrible experience.
This nail salon is the best! Whenever I come I don't have an appointment and they treat me with great kindness, everyone does beautiful nails!! I definitely recommend it 100%
No customer service etiquette at all. I went several times and complained. Called yo make an appointment, drove mules to get there, and was told no-one could do them any more because they didn't feel comfortable.
If I pay 60+dollars each time, you are correct, I am going to complain.
They are rude and have horrible service if allowed to do horrible work. Do not use these people!
Holly and Jennifer are very friendly and professional! These wonderful ladies took great care of me. I will definitely be making this my new salon!
Wanted to find a place close to the mall to have some mother/son time. Went in and got 2 pedi’s one for my son and me and a mani for me. Told the technician exactly what kind of pedicure I wanted…. They did the next pedicure which was higher in price and when I confronted the situation when it was time to pay was told that I pointed to the pedicure they did, which I didn’t…. Even if that was the case and I pointed to one but said another why wasn’t there questions asked to get clarity?! With my mani I was charged for French just because I wanted the color on my nail tips only…. Even though the color wasn’t white….The guy cut one of my cuticles so bad it bled throughout the mani, after paying this pricey cost I went to get in my car and had gel polish on my cuticle…. Thinking I could easily scrap it off I did but a whole corner of the polish came off instead! This was the first and only time I’ll go to this salon!!
