Quick Facts About D-Mart Farmers Market
D-Mart Farmers Market place has a variety of strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that the store has a new, big, and spacious location with a lot of products. This indicates that the store has expanded and offers a wide range of items to choose from. Additionally, another customer appreciated the selection of imported items from India and mentioned that the prices are affordable. This suggests that D-Mart Farmers Market place offers competitive pricing and caters to the needs of customers looking for Indian and Asian products.
Another strength mentioned is the quality of the produce. One customer described the fruits, particularly peaches, pears, and apples, as sweet and delicious. This indicates that D-Mart Farmers Market place has a good supplier for fresh fruits and vegetables, which could potentially attract customers looking for high-quality produce.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one of the most significant issues mentioned is the expired products being sold at the store. Several customers commented on expired coffee, ice cream, and jaggery. This not only raises concerns about the store's quality control and attention to food safety, but it also reflects poorly on the management's commitment to providing fresh and safe products. Additionally, the fact that some customers encountered employees displaying attitude, talking rudely, or hanging up on them when they raised complaints indicates poor customer service.
Another weakness mentioned is the store's return policy. Multiple customers expressed dissatisfaction with the return policy, labeling it as the worst and stating that the store refuses to accept returns on defective or expired products. This can lead to customer frustration and potential legal issues if the business does not adhere to standard refund policies.
Furthermore, cleanliness and maintenance were mentioned as weaknesses. Customers commented on dirty floors and computer issues at the counters, which suggests a lack of attention to store upkeep. This could create a negative impression for customers and contribute to a poor shopping experience.
Lastly, inconsistency in pricing was mentioned by one customer. They described observing the store erasing expiration dates on discounted items and not taking action to remove them. This raises questions about the store's transparency and professionalism in pricing and could lead to customer distrust.
In conclusion, D-Mart Farmers Market place has both strengths and weaknesses. It offers a wide range of products, competitive prices, and high-quality produce. However, it suffers from issues such as selling expired products, poor customer service, questionable return policies, cleanliness concerns, and inconsistencies in pricing. These weaknesses need to be addressed in order for the store to improve its reputation and provide a better shopping experience for its customers.

This is probably the worst Indian Groceries store that I ever went to as of recent times. When it started originally, management here was active and the store was almost well stocked most times. But as of recent times, things have been getting worst and worst. I went there to get coffee and found that all the Coffee they had expired almost 3-6 months ago. The floors are always dirty, half the time their counters have computer issues. Same issue of expiry was seen with other food items. It seems that the Management here is not at all interested in the upkeep of this store. The photos posted depicts the conditional aspects of this store. It is freaking half empty !
Worst return policy and the worst customer service and pathetic telephone manners. I bought a half gallon Reena ice cream tub. It was actually ice powder. No cream. Defective product, in other words. I called the store next day. Some lousy sounding lady picked the phone. She heard my complaint and hung up on me. I called back many times, but she did not answer. Finally after couple of hours some a guy with huge attitude picked the phone. His reply was utmost stupid. He said , they don’t return frozen product. I asked then they should put a sign on the freezer about it. Moral of the story is check the product condition and date of validity of the product before you buy. Their refund policy is wrong. They can get into legal trouble for this. Thank you.
They are keeping all their products which is *expired* smelling and have fungus when you complain about this they actually show you attitude and talk very rudely and no return policy.
If you’re not aware, they have a new location right beside the Autozone advance parts in Carlstadt , it’s big and spacious with lot of products. Must visit!
Fruits and vegetables are not too fresh, but they got a few options!
I purchased jaggery 2 months ago for around 8 dollars and it had black spots that smudged between my fingers when crushed (like coal). As a Chemical Engineer I went further with my investigation and found it to be bacteria/fungus. I did not go back to the store but threw it away, it is intoxicating. I've started using a Goya brand one so that at least the quality is ensured. Also some prices that come up on the system is questionable for them, so, I intended to purchase an item and asked for the price, the man wasn't keen on the price shown on the system I gave them a little while, a lady on the other counter came up with the same price, I accepted it and asked them to keep it there while I grab a few more things. I got to the counter the price jumped with a reason that wasn't listed on the item. I left it there and didn't dispute it further. Most big respectable businesses will honor their word. Unfortunately as a long time shopper I won't be giving this store another chance. It's about the quality of customer service and ensuring satisfactory is met to captivate the customer to come back frequently for permanently.
I’m more than positive this store has been shut down due to compliance and health reasons. you’re selling products that are expired, your return policy is terrible, and on top of that your customer service completely sucks..
Overall nice little store. I started coming here since parking is not an issue. But today I saw Amul Ghee (454gm) selling at discounted $3.99. I checked the expiration at the bottom of cans, most of them has the expiration erased (using alcohol). I am saying this because you can see leftover ink on some of them while some were not erased properly so you can see they expired on dec/02/2021. Very unprofessional here, specifically the effort they made to erase expiration date. They should simply through them out. I told the lady at cashier counter and she didn’t react at all as id she knew. Generally at any other store, they would remove such items immediately.
The absolute hidden gem. For instance, I haven't had a sweet , delicious peach in a while, but this place has the sweetest peaches, pears, apples, etc. Wherever they get their supplies from is pretty good, especially the fruit and the vegetables.
I certainly recommend you try this place, no matter where u come from in the world. It is not just indian/Asian food like you think. Very interesting selection of stuff.
And with all the imported stuff from India, one cannot believe the prices. Super cheap stuff.
