Quick Facts About Deja Vu Nail & Spa

Deja Vu Nail & Spa has received both positive and negative comments from customers. In order to thoroughly analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the salon, we will examine each comment individually and identify recurring themes.
Starting with the positive comments, one customer highly recommended Ava as a nail technician, specifically for dip powder nails. They praised Ava's attention to detail, technique, and conversation skills. This indicates that there are skilled and friendly technicians at Deja Vu Nail & Spa, such as Ava, who can provide customers with a satisfying experience. Additionally, the customer mentioned that they could let their nails go longer between appointments due to the high quality of Ava's work. This suggests that the salon offers long-lasting results, which can save customers time and money.
Another positive comment mentioned that Mondays are quiet at the salon. This suggests that if customers prefer a quieter and more relaxed environment, visiting on Mondays would be ideal. It indicates that the salon might not be as crowded or noisy compared to other days of the week.
Moving on to the negative comments, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with the friendliness and cleanliness of the salon. They mentioned that the lady at the front desk was not friendly and that the salon did not meet cleanliness guidelines. They specifically mentioned the lack of instrument sterilization. This raises a potential concern for hygiene and the safety of customers. The customer also shared a picture showing bubbles and uneven shapes in their nails, indicating that the salon might lack attention to detail and precision.
Another negative comment highlighted a negative experience with a nail technician who used dip powder, causing the customer's nails to become thin and warped. The customer lost four nails as a result. This suggests that there might be inconsistencies in the skill level of technicians at Deja Vu Nail & Spa. The customer also stated that they would prefer to wait for their regular nail technician instead of trying someone new at the salon. This indicates that customers might have a preference for specific technicians and find it risky to trust unfamiliar ones.
A particularly concerning comment described terrible service at the salon. The customer paid a high amount for two full sets and pedicures, but experienced chipping and lifting of the polish and acrylics within a short period of time. When they approached the salon for a solution, they were laughed at and refused assistance. This indicates a lack of professionalism and customer service at Deja Vu Nail & Spa, as well as poor quality products or techniques.
Lastly, one customer expressed dissatisfaction with their provider who asked them to turn off the massage function on their seat and raised their voice when the customer complained about the foot work. This suggests a lack of empathy and customer satisfaction orientation from the provider, indicating a potential weakness in the salon's customer service approach.
After analyzing these comments, we can identify several strengths and weaknesses of Deja Vu Nail & Spa. The strengths include the presence of skilled technicians such as Ava, who go above and beyond to provide excellent service and long-lasting results. Additionally, visiting the salon on Mondays can offer a quieter and more relaxed experience.
However, there are also significant weaknesses identified through the negative comments. These include a lack of friendliness from the front desk staff, a potential failure to meet cleanliness guidelines, inconsistencies in the skill level of technicians, and issues with the durability and quality of products used. The most concerning weakness is the reported lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and refusal to address customer concerns or provide assistance when problems arise.
In order to improve, Deja Vu Nail & Spa should focus on addressing these weaknesses. This could involve providing training to staff members on customer service and hygiene practices, ensuring consistent quality of service across all technicians, and reevaluating the durability and quality of products used. Emphasizing professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail would go a long way in improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
With these improvements, Deja Vu Nail & Spa has the potential to create a positive and enjoyable experience for all customers, catering to their individual preferences and needs.

I randomly found this nail salon and am so happy I did!! I go to see Ava every 2-3 weeks to have dip powder done and she’s absolutely amazing! Every time I go she makes them look perfect! She spends time making sure she does the technique perfectly while having amazing conversation and I truly appreciate that. I could let my nails go longer between getting them done because she does them so well!! Highly recommend, especially Ava!!
Mondays are pretty quiet.
Loved my experience !!
Not pleased, I myself have done nails for several years and sometimes I’m surprised about the experience. The Lady at the front was not friendly so that was #1, it certainly doesn’t meet any cleanliness guidelines (dividers yes but that’s it) I saw no one sterilize an instrument. I was apprehensive but tried anyway, I have to redo my nails when I get home.. as you can see from the picture I’m not even trying you over exaggerate however I had polish on my finger that she filed down, I have bubbles in almost every nail, several are different shapes…I certainly won’t be returning.. even before the less than desirable set I had done ($60) I knew based on the lack of sterilization I wouldn’t return. Nothing like finally having a day off and still having to do my nails after paying a crazy amount for what I left with. To reach their own, that was just my opinion
I absolutely love my service every time I go. Kim is my technician. And I’ve been going for about 3 years. Very professional and I love the way my pedicure looks and feels every time. Lasts me about 3-4 weeks even longer with Gel. 100% recommend Kim if you go here.
I went here because my normal nail tech went home for a month, and Deja Vu is in my neighborhood. I'm already skeptical about letting new techs do my nails, this only confirms my skepticism. Everyone was pretty nice so this isn't the problem. The nail tech that did my nails using the dip powder made my nails so thin and warped I lost 4 nails because of it. It was my first and only time going. My nail tech is back home now and if she leaves again, I'll just have someone take off the powder and wait until she returns. My suggestion, don't ask for just anybody at Deja Vu if it's your first time, ask for the best technician, hopefully they do right by you.
TERRIBLE service. Paid $200 for 2 full sets and pedicures, just for the pedicure to start chipping the day after, and the acrylics start lifting. Within less than 10 days, the acrylics began falling off. I have been getting full sets regularly at other places, they are supposed to last at LEAST three weeks, if not longer. When I went in to show them the damage it left on my nails and for a soak off/fix for the other nails, they laughed in my face and refused. This place is overpriced, and they rush through the process. Do not waste your time here.
I would give it a zero if I could . The provider actually asked me to turn off the massage function on my seat then when I complained about the foot work. She raised her voice telling me how well she knew her job. Little to no regard for customer satisfaction is my conclusion about déjà vu
I love Mya, she takes special care when doing my nails and feet. Tech #3 is great also didn't get her name, but she didn't rush through my nail process! Great job!
