Quick Facts About DELTA SPA NAILS
Delta Spa Nails has received a mix of positive and negative reviews, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the salon. Let's analyze the comments to understand the key aspects of their service.
Starting with the strengths, there are a few positive remarks about the quality of the manicures provided by some of the employees. One customer mentioned that one of the male employees did a great job on their gel manicure, taking his time and producing satisfactory results. Additionally, another customer mentioned that they loved their dipped nails, crediting a friendly employee who convinced them to try it.
Another potential strength is the salon's physical environment. One customer mentioned that the place is nice, which implies that the salon is visually appealing and well-maintained. However, this information is limited as it is not explicitly mentioned in the comments provided.
Now let's discuss the weaknesses based on the negative comments. One recurring issue is the lack of professional and attentive customer service. Multiple customers expressed dissatisfaction with the rush and poor quality of their services. Some reported that during busy periods, they were diverted to different nail technicians, requiring them to explain their preferences multiple times. This lack of consistency and coordination may lead to less satisfying results for customers.
Furthermore, the issue of poor communication arises in several comments. One customer mentioned that they had explained being hearing impaired and a lip reader, but the staff did not accommodate their needs and even mocked their impairment. This lack of sensitivity and understanding negatively impacted the customer experience.
There are also concerns regarding the pricing structure. One customer expressed surprise at being charged $98 for a dip powder manicure and pedicure. The high cost combined with the dissatisfaction with the service heightens the negative perception of the salon.
Additionally, the salon seems to have inconsistent performance in terms of nail health and hygiene. Some customers reported breaking nails and peeling polish shortly after the service, which suggests that the quality of the application may not have been up to par. Furthermore, there was a mention of a customer developing a fungus after visiting the salon, raising concerns about the cleanliness and sanitization practices employed.
Lastly, there were complaints about the lack of attention to detail in the salon. Customers mentioned uneven filing, uncleansed nails, and drill residue in the polish, reflecting poor execution of the services.
In summary, Delta Spa Nails has some areas of strength such as the positive experiences with certain employees and the overall visual appeal of the salon. However, there are significant weaknesses that need to be addressed. These include inconsistent service quality, poor customer service, limited communication accommodations, high pricing relative to the service quality, and concerns about nail health and cleanliness. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall customer experience at Delta Spa Nails.
Best TL Reviews
First and last time to this salon. I explained I was hearing impaired and a lip reader. Somehow speaking louder with a mask on is supposed to be helpful. Mani man was great. No one told me their name and I sure wasn’t going to ask at this point. After my dip he lead me to my pedi where another gentleman thought the impairment was giggle worthy because I couldn’t understand. He acted as if he was afraid to touch me. It was the lightest touch pedi I‘ve encountered. It was so light it reminded me of how I rubbed my baby’s back to put them to sleep. I put lotion on harder than this guy rubbed. I was adamant the polish match as I am picky about it. The mani was great. The pedi has a pink tint to it and does NOT match. This by far was the WORST, most expensive experience I’ve ever had. Look how horrid the pedi is in the picture.I chose the $38 pedi. My bill was $98!! So a dip powder mani is $60?? I was in there 2 HOURS! My advice is DONT DO IT! Adding to review….. three nails broke within the first week in the mani!!!! I’ve NEVER had that happen with dip powder from other salons. Guess that means that mani was not so good either!!!The pedi polish peeled off two toes. I’m less than 10 days in and I soaked nails last night. Finding another salon today for a decent pedi. Nails will have to heal awhile. After friend saw review she said she got a fungus from there….. had I only known. DO NOT RISK THIS SALON! You will regret it and have no money
The first picture provided was my reference photo. As you can tell, what I received was not what I asked for. The shape look very similar to duck nails when i specifically told her not to give. She was also very rough and rushed while doing my nails. This has not been the first time I haven’t been happy with the way my nails turn out.
The owner Kim was very responsible one of his workers did not know what he was doing I had to come back twice to get my nails done and he did not do a good job at all will not return but do you want customers to know do not use this place if this guy does your nails
I love love love dipped nails!!!! The sweet guy who did them talked me right into them and I'm so glad he did!!!!
The lady removed the acrylic nails without nail remover harmed my daughters real mail.
Went another day at 7 pm they didn’t accept us as customer as they closed , although there for hours saying they close at 8 pm , and on google too.
I have been here a few times and have had both good services and so so services. I went a couple months ago & got a gel manicure by one of the male employees. He did GREAT!! He took his time with everything in the process and my nails looked very good. I came again today to get another gel manicure and it didn’t go as planned. I waited for a good while (which is completely fine). After I waited patiently for my turn, the lady began rushing. She took my hands out of the heating mits they use before they start a gel manicure before they even got warm. She began rushing everything. Didn’t file my nails evenly, and didn’t clean up underneath the nail at all. She began painting them, and it was completely rushed. Half of my nail was still bare. I finally worked to the courage to ask her to fix it (I hate being problematic in even the slightest way). She tried fixing it but still rushed while doing it. They then looked thick, sloppy, and had many air bubbles. I tried to see if it would look better at the end, but they didn’t. The lady asked me if I liked them, and I couldn’t say yes. They looked very bad and sloppy. She asked if I wanted her to take it off and she did. However, she never apologized or offered to re-do them and acted really bothered about it all. I was on the verge of tears because I hated having to tell her I didn’t like it. I just wish they put the time and effort in to do a good job and didn’t rush it that way neither mine or her time was wasted.
I've been going to delta nail salon for about a year now. The place is nice but the service is severely lacking. I've said the last several times I will not be back. The worst part is when your nail tech is working on your nails and someone else comes in, you get moved to another nail tech. So you have to start over explaining what you want done. Happens all the time to everyone. This last time, which will be my last time, the polish was slapped on in a hurry, and you can really tell!! Pictures shown are the day they were done. If you have acrylics or any type of lay over your nail they do not trim your cuticles. If you come in for a pedicure they may seat you right away but it's nothing to have to wait 45 min- an hour before you even have water on your feet. Ive returned so many times because there is ONE lady that does awesome work but she is usually busy with someone else waiting. Save yourself a headache, go elsewhere.
They didn’t push my cuticles back AT ALL- I pushed them back myself when I got home. They didn’t clean my nails/ hands in any fashion and got grit from the drill in the polish. Charged me $55. I still tipped, but I am very disappointed with the quality.
