I paid $48 to have gaps where my nails don't have polish and to get polish on my ring. Don't come here. The polish looks thick and lumpy too. I do not recommend. Now I have to pay $50 on top of that to have my ring cleaned. I have been to many nail salons in many places and never had this happen to me. The nail polish was not fully or evenly applied. Hence the parts where there isn't polish and also why it is lumpy.
Honestly and truly speaking, the pedicure and manicure I had was terrible. I went in with the excitement of paying the Groupon price which is why I came here in the first place. I get told that it's 7 dollars to remove the gel from my nails or 7 dollars to get he gel done.I went with getting the gel nails ,If I said no none of it would of gotten done.Anyway, I go to pay and The manager said they charged 10 dollars for doing the gel on my toenails. So unexpected. The lady doing my nails did NOT tell me that my toenails would be an ADDITIONAL 10$. AND TO TOP THIS ALL OFF, the color on my nails did not match the color on my toes.
About 2 weeks later I get a very very painful ingrown toenail. I was pissed. Now I sit here chipping off this gel polish that feels so cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. Careful with this place ladies. I also feel like their prices for hair are atrocious. Smh.
I am really impressed with this Salon. The service was great, the prices were fair and my manicurist Jacky was amazing. She was delightful to spend all that time with, her recommendations on my nails were helpful and greatly appreciated. Will deff be coming back to this salon and Jacky specifically!
My manicurist was the ONLY bright spot in this establishment. While she was nice and pleasant, it should never take an hour and forty minutes for a basic mani/pedi. I went with a friend who was left by her manicurist half way through her treatment. She sat, waiting, for 10 minutes before another girl came and took over. There was a woman who appeared to be in charge, I believe her name was Dija. The things she said to her client were tasteless and beyond unprofessional. I'm not one to leave a bad review, but this was legitimately the worst salon experience I've ever had.
I had a TERRIBLE Experience with the owner of DKY Salon and Spa,So first off, you may ONLY be seen by appointment so I called several times for 2 days trying to get one.No one ever answered and I Never got a call back so I decided to drive out there, the owner then proceeded to tell my that it mustve been my phone service that was bad, i had to show her my call registry so that she believed me and took me in. I got a basic mani/pedi which by the way, my manicurist was Amazing!! But once I had to pay I presented my Groupon gift that my husband bought for me and she said she wouldnt accept it because Ive been there before. I proceeded to explain that Ive never used a Groupon there and that I was a loyal customer. The Groupon should say "for new customers ONLY". She got very agressive and told me that she wouldnt make business off of the groupon so that I needed to call Groupon to get a refund and still charged me $5 more than the price of the Groupon. This was very unprofessional. I didnt think u get punished for being a loyal customer! What a headache! Left a sour taste in my mouth
Just got a pedi, and I’d have to say I LOVE IT !!! Jeannie is fantastic her personality is awesome, she’s such a pleasure .... the deals here are amazing !!! $20 mani/pedi special and the eyebrow threading for first time clients $3.99 , WOW !!!
I bought a groupon for 18 dollars and then I called in to schedule an appointment. They said come in right away which I did. When I walked in a lady told me that I cannot use groupon because they had specials and I had to call in. It seemed that I was being treated as a low value customer nobody cared no smiles bad tone of voice. I would not recommend spending your hard earned money here.
