Quick Facts About Dley's African Hair Braiding
Dley's African Hair Braiding place has both strengths and weaknesses, based on the comments provided. Let's start with the strengths:
Efficiency and prompt service: One customer mentioned that they were able to start on their hair right away, which indicates that Dley's African Hair Braiding place values their customers' time and provides efficient service.
Acceptance of customer feedback: The braider allowed one customer to check the braids as they went along, showing that they value customer satisfaction and are open to feedback. Additionally, the owner offered to redo the hair if the customer returned within 3 days, indicating a willingness to rectify any issues.
Positive customer experiences: Some customers expressed their love for the salon, stating that they have been going there for multiple years and have always been satisfied with the results. This suggests that Dley's African Hair Braiding place has built a loyal customer base and consistently provides high-quality service.
Variety of styles: One customer mentioned that they usually get box braids but decided to try faux locs at Dley's African Hair Braiding place and were not disappointed. This indicates that the salon offers a variety of braiding styles to cater to different customer preferences.
However, there are also some weaknesses that can be inferred from the comments:
Inconsistent quality: One customer mentioned that the parts of their braids were not straight, indicating a lack of attention to detail in the styling process. This suggests that the quality of the braiding may vary and may not always meet salon standards.
Poor communication and understanding: Another customer reported that the braider did not understand or care about their specific request to leave the edges untouched. This highlights a weakness in communication and attention to customer preferences, potentially leading to dissatisfaction.
Unprofessional behavior: One customer mentioned that the owner and workers were not polite and spoke about other people in their language. This indicates a lack of professionalism and respect for customers, which can create a negative atmosphere in the salon.
Price discrepancy: One customer mentioned that they came to Dley's African Hair Braiding place because it was cheaper for waist-length braids compared to another salon. However, the customer encountered scheduling issues and was ultimately unable to get their hair done. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in pricing and scheduling, which can be frustrating for customers.
In conclusion, while Dley's African Hair Braiding place has strengths such as efficiency, acceptance of feedback, positive customer experiences, and a variety of styles, there are also weaknesses in inconsistent quality, poor communication and understanding, unprofessional behavior, and potential price discrepancies. These areas of improvement should be addressed in order to enhance the overall customer experience and reputation of the salon.

I went to the salon on 2/6 for 4 feed in braids. I was skeptical at first to try the salon since it was my first time but I figured why drive a hour to north jersey for 4 feed in braids. I called ahead and was told to come at a specific time. They started on my hair right away which was good. As the braider went along she allowed me to check the braids and I thought they were fine so she continued. It wasn’t until I went home and used a hand mirror to check my style that I noticed that the parts were not straight. I didn’t think that would be a concern since It was a salon. I contacted one of the branders, who may have been the owner. She initially justified the crooked parts by telling me that the braids were nice. She offered to redo my hair if I came back to the salon within 3 days. I was unable to do that since I was leaving for vacation. I am very disappointed that I paid $70 ($60 with a $10 tip) for a style that was not salon quality. I’ve had my hair braided numerous of times and never had fo worry about crooked parts. Next time I will take my drive to north jersey.
Horrible job! I got individual braids. They’re the size of two pencils together. I asked for her to leave my edges. Either she didn’t understand or she didn’t care. Damn near pulled every stand off hair into the braids. Had to go home and take out the braids in the front so I could have a hairline and some edges. I paid $209 because I got 3 colors. Wasn’t worth it. Won’t be back ever again!!!
I came here because one of the girls I work with recommended me here.. I made a appointment for 7:30 so I can make it to work on time. I show up exactly at 7:30 they tell me I can’t get my hair done because the girl is running late; I asked how late she said can you come at 12. Absolutely not!! I have work at 2.. I had to run around Camden to find another braiding shop to do my hair.. I have to get it braided because I have I trip that’s already paid for on Monday.. I was so upset looking for a place to do my hair because that cut into me making it on time for work..The other braiding shop I was going to I never had this problem.. I came here because the waist length was cheaper 180.. The place I was going to mid back was 180..

It's a wonderful place to go get your hair braided I've been going for 4 years.
I got faux locs. Came out beautifully. I always get box braids but decided to change it up, was not disappointed. They are efficient and pleasant. I always enjoy getting my hair done here
If i could give this place a zero I would! Got my hair braided couple days ago. The owner along with her workers are not polite. They speak about other people in their language!. One lady who was doing my hair , every time would tell me tilt my head. Maybe if you was doing less talking and more working !!!!!!!! It wouldn’t be an issue. would not be back here. And wouldn’t recommend. Disclaimer to, they overprice to!.
Wonderful place to get your hair done. I strongly recommend.
