If I could give less than one star, I would have done so!!!!!
Very unprofessional! I was waiting for my turn and then asked the guy that I would get a coffee and come back right away. I came back and found him still finishing off with the same guy! Once done, I stood to get my turn. The barber told hold on! Let me get this kid first (a good looking woman walked in with her son while I was out). I told him I was here before her and another guy was waiting for his turn told him this guy (me) came before the woman and her kid. He awfully said "this is the way it is; wait if you want a cut." I had to respect myself and walked out. Moral of the story, if you are a good looking person or a friend of theirs, you will be able to skip the line and make other people wait. Several people commented that they waited for so long because their turn keeps being pushed back!
If I could give less than one star, I would have done so!
Maria is super sweet and walks you through the whole hair process ladies! She does Brazilian Straightening as well.
I did my hair for a wedding and just recently I cut my hair. My mom has had her hair dyed here various times and always looks amazing ????

Love this place. The owners are husband and wife business. Thus, this is an greatvplace to look your best in any styles of your desires. Also, great location near to West Haven, CT train station, restaurants. Erick is mine Barber, he's a great guy.

A lady friend recommended me this barber shop and to ask for “Maria” Ok, I have to admit the staff is very nice. I went on a Monday and asked for “Maria” she gave me an appointment for the same day at 4:45 PM. I got there on time. She proceeded to tell me there was a customer ahead of me. Ok fine. I said to her “no problem”. After she was done with the customer she then said there was another customer in line ahead of me again. Oh my! was I upset but I kept cool about it. I asked her how long will it take, she saids “oh she (the customer) is just having a hair cut” but the customer asked for her hair to be washed. I knew this was going to take longer. I got up from my seat told her I was going to my car. Well, I did not. I left. I will never ever set foot at this place again. She should have not given me a time to just turn me down like that. I think it was best. This place is just for young folks. All the customers I saw there were like in their 30s. I’ll stick to salons where one is not discriminated because of their age. To me this was not professional of Maria to give me an appointment for 4:45 and then tell me there was person ahead of me which was ok but then another one. I was so livid. Just typing this and thinking of what she did just gets me more furious.
Excellent cuts! Very professional. Not just a barbershop, they do women's hair too!
Very clean and great haircut. Will definitely be back again! Eric was knowledgeable and had one of the best haircuts in awhile. I can tell he loves his craft and I look forward to returning.
Been going to Erik since 2009. And soon, I will trust him to cut my son's hair when he gets older. He has his shop clean and safely distancing from other work areas. Book an appointment with him on Booksy.
