Quick Facts About Fab House Café

Fab House Café has several strengths and weaknesses based on the comments provided.
Starting with the strengths, the food at Fab House Café is frequently praised. Customers mention that the eggs are delicious, the hot ciabatta is delightful, and the traditional breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. This indicates that the café offers a variety of tasty options for customers to enjoy. Additionally, the café is commended for using high-quality ingredients, which sets it apart from other cafes in the area. This emphasis on quality is likely to attract customers who prioritize fresh and tasty food.
Another strength of Fab House Café is the friendly and polite staff. Many customers mention that the service is very good and the staff are helpful and understanding. This positive interaction with employees can greatly enhance the overall dining experience and make customers feel welcome and appreciated. The staff's ability to maintain a relaxed and down-to-earth atmosphere is also noted, creating a pleasant environment for customers to enjoy their meals.
The café's location on the high street is considered a positive point as well. This prime location makes it easily accessible to potential customers and increases the café's visibility. Customers mention that the café has a nice seating area with lots of choices, which provides flexibility for different group sizes and preferences. A spacious seating area allows customers to enjoy their meals comfortably, whether they are dining alone or with friends.
Moving on to the weaknesses, one common complaint is the slow service. Multiple customers mention that their food took a long time to arrive, which resulted in their coffees turning cold by the time they were served. This indicates a potential issue with the café's efficiency and speed of service. Addressing this weakness could significantly improve the overall dining experience for customers and prevent dissatisfaction caused by cold beverages.
Another weakness highlighted in the comments is the inconsistency in food quality. While some customers praise the food, others complain about burnt food, poor quality sausages and bacon, and sandwiches made with cheap bread. This indicates a lack of consistency in the preparation of meals, which can be off-putting for customers who have experienced subpar dishes. Maintaining consistency in food quality is crucial for retaining customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
There are also a few comments about cleanliness issues at the café. Some customers mention that the comfortable sofas are dirty and stained, which can negatively impact the perception of the café's cleanliness. Ensuring that all seating areas are well-maintained and clean is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere and attracting customers.
Additionally, there are complaints regarding the use of a third-party delivery service, JustEat. Customers mention issues with missing or stolen food and difficulties obtaining refunds. This reflects poorly on the café, despite it being out of their direct control. Establishing a reliable and reputable delivery service can help mitigate these issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
In summary, Fab House Café has strengths in terms of the quality of its food and the friendliness of its staff. The café's location on the high street and the pleasant seating area also contribute to its appeal. However, there are weaknesses in terms of slow service, inconsistency in food quality, cleanliness issues, and problems with the third-party delivery service. Addressing these weaknesses would significantly enhance the overall dining experience at Fab House Café and ensure customer satisfaction.

Best TL Reviews

The food was lovely although it took time to arrive. That being said our coffees turned cold by the time we were served. Otherwise it's a nice place on the high street and we'd love to visit again.
Had brunch in there today! I had fried eggs on a bloomer toast, I wasn’t so keen on the toast. A bit under done for my liking. But the eggs where yummy ????
Service was very good staff where polite and friendly. I will go back and try out other foods. I also had a chocolate doughnut ???? that was delicious a must try if you love doughnuts. Overall lovely place. Great seating lots of choice.
Was treated to lunch here today by a friend.
Had Eggs Florentine . Was truly delicious.
Great value for money and staff very friendly
Firstly visit the store - don’t order through justeat!
I would highly recommend Fab Cafe to everyone, the only cafe in the area which uses high quality ingredients...Very impressed!
The hot ciabatta was delightful, quality bacon, quality chicken, not to much mayo ????
The cafe has a relaxed, down to earth atmosphere whilst keeping service speedy! The lady’s in store are a real asset to the business! Polite, friendly but most of all understanding & helpful!
A stark contrast to other cafe’s in the area

Update -
After many great orders things took a turn downhill - justeats 3rd party delivery service “stuart” have stole my food - not turned up - taken items and all round been terrible - after a few times justeat suggest you e had to many refunds and simply won’t refund you even if you haven’t got what you payed for
A complete and utter scam a justeat get a refund from the shop whilst offering credit or no refund to customers - justeat also lie and tell you the shop lied
This on top of the fact quality has taken a dive since the new chef
Super milky coffee apparently a Cappuccino ????????????‍♂️ And the food so burnt I almost broke a tooth, looks like it was reheated!! - quality of sausages and bacon within has also dropped and the shop has started cutting the amount in the breakfast ciabattas
Won’t be ordering again - have tried multiple times now - either you don’t get your order or what you payed for or you do and quality is now lacking - 1 regular customer lost
The traditional breakfast I had was delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and a nice place to meet friends for lunch to have a catch up
Ordered salt beef on 'rye' with mustard and gherkins on ciabatta. Had no ciabatta so said brown. £7 for a cheap thin sliced brown bread sandwich with no mustard or pickle???? left it after one bite won't be back recommend you avoid
I had a nice coffee here sheltering from the rain. The staff were polite and efficient. The café has a spacious seating area. There are some comfortable sofas but these are a bit dirty and stained.
This is a popular cafe which attracts a nice crowd.
Customer service is very good.
Clean & friendly environment.
Child friendly.
I had a pasta dish which was nice. ????
Wide selections of hot drinks & smoothies available and lots of food options on the menu.
